I stayed for 3 nights in a standard room. The room was surprisingly big. I had numerous windows and a partial view of the lake from my own private balcony. The bed was comfortable and there was tons of storage space for clothes and other items. My room faced away from the street and was pretty quiet except starting around 7am as people were getting ready and leaving their rooms. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was the most plentiful spread of anywhere I stayed during this trip and included eggs (which is not common). I also enjoyed 2 dinners I had in the restaurant. The location is a short walk down to Rorschach/the lake. Parking in the attached lot was never an issue. The hotel really surprised me for a Best Western.

The room was a bit hot, but fortunately there was a fan already provided. I had to be careful not to leave my windows open if I left the room or went to sleep because smoke from people's balconies would waft in. It was a bit more expensive than other places I stayed on this trip (though worth it). Would be great if the room contained a mini-fridge.

Room comfortable and clean. Lovely terrace area with lake view. Staff exceptional, particularly in restaurant. Bed comfortable and clean. The manager was really lovely and spent time talking to us. Jasmine was also really lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Walk down to the lake possible but steep if you have any mobilty issues. Ideal if you are driving.

The terraces are connected, whilst there were some lovely little conifers to separate the rooms they didn’t extend all the way so people can walk past your room, and the bath looks out over the view which is lovely but could be interesting if you were bathing. There was of course a blind. Air con would have been ideal but you could open the door and pull down the shutters.

The room was on the side but I still had an amazing view from the balcony onto the lake! The room was quite large and comfortable. It was quiet and I could sleep with the window open. I loved having a kettle in the room, I could make coffee without getting out of bed!

Everything was fine. There was a group staying and the restaurant is popular, so it wasn’t possible to get a table to eat. The staff tried to find a solution to call me later in case one became free, but I was happy to get pizza delivered.

The staff was wonderful. Very kind en helpful. That really makes a difference. Breakfast is nice. Food is of good quality and really tasteful (lunch and dinner). We had the room with a balcony with a stunning view on the Bodensee.

No fridge. On the map the Bodensee seems very close but in reality the Bodensee is very big and further away then we thought. This wasnt a problem and we could walk but the way back you have to go uphill.

Really friendly staff. We had a great view over Lake Constance - and a great meal. A very clean hotel, well situated and free parking. We really appreciated all the attention to detail, including the chat with the very helpful manager, Mark.

We stayed at the peak of a heatwave - the room had a fan but we really needed aircon; and a fridge.

Fantastic lake view with beautiful sunsets. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the private terrace is a great place to relax with no overlooking neighbors. The hotel offers modern comfort with quality, recent materials. The on-site restaurant is good, and the terrace is perfect for enjoying an aperitif.

The view! Sun no sun still very nice and cozy! Our room was more than spacious! Loved the balcony and totally adore the bathroom! Also love the free apple in the hallway to the rooms and it was very tasty! Breakfast has good and just enough selections. Overall we had a great stay!

Lots of private parking; professional, friendly and swift check-in, nice room ( plenty of space, clean, nice view, good size bathroom and shower). Good restaurant, which was fully booked when I arrived, but I got a table as a house guest.

Nothing comes inexpensive in Switzerland ...

Spacious room with all facilities needed, friendly and helpful staff, amazing view over the Bodensee. Breakfast is varied and enjoyable.

It's a bit of a walk from Rorschach if you are not travelling by car. Tricky combinations to turn on/off individual lamps in the room
