The breakfast buffet was great. It was your typical German-style breakfast with meat, cheese, bread, porridge, oatmeal and yogurt with a variety of toppings. The connecting family room was great for our family of 4 where we shared a bathroom. The windows had screens over them so you could open them if it was warm. The staff was very helpful in confirming our transportation to downtown St Gallen for the soccer match. Overall a great experience and we would come back.

Amazing surroundings, calm and peacefull area, with nice gardens and balcony for enjoying the night. The owner was very nice as well gave me great recommendations of where to go, and nice places to visit around, I would definetly recommend this place. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at this old-style hotel. It was refreshing to be surrounded by a country environment while still close to town. The host is cheerful and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful.

It’s an old building and locates in a quiet country. Looking outside from our rooms were beautiful.

The ceiling is low. My husband who is 6’ hit his forehead a couple of time on the bathroom door ceiling.

Beautiful alpine meadow location. Owners English was limited but he was very attentive and helpful.

The floorboards above our room creaked and were very noisy when guests moved about the room above, which kept us awake at night and woke us up early.
