The hotel and the rooms are nice, new and decently decorated. The hotel itself incl. the restaurant was very nice, wooden style -mountain style. Clean. The staff is very polite. There is nice terrace to have drink or dinner. The food was very tasty, fabolous burger. Breakfast excelent, not life cooking with omelette, but local cheese, choise of special tees, very good bread, etc. It was absolutely sufficient. Sauna is small but reserved for a private stay, and the salt for footbath excellent.

The hotel is on the Furkastrasse, we got the room with windows to the street (but also with a beautiful view to the valley and mountains), the windows are pretty good isolating the noice, during night not so much trafic - the window could be opened, but the car operation starts early in the morning. But with closed windows it was decent.

The Landhaus hotel is a little gem! Not only because of the hearty welcome from the couple who have taken oodles of care to create this little haven over the last 9 years, but there is thought, quality and style in every detail. The beds were just heavenly, and we slept with the curtains open so we could drift off as the clouds drifted in and out over the moutains outside. The toiletries in the rooms were superb - sustainable, local, and a gorgeous scent. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the burrata and tomato salad with pistachios, and basil sorbet was to die-for. Everything is utterly delightful. Can't recommend it enough - for cyclists looking to use it as a base for the huge and stunning local climbs, for visitors wanting to hike and be in nature, to couples looking for a romantic break. Perfect.

This was my 2nd time at Landhaus - I came back because I loved absolutely everything the first time… and I wasn’t disappointed the second time either. The hotel itself, the rooms, the love for details - just amazing. The sauna (pre book by phone beforehand to get your preferred slot, or during check in!) was a great treat on a rainy day. Every single person working there is lovely - reception, restaurant, breakfast and cleaning personnel. The food at the restaurant is excellent - again, the little details are highly appreciated. Thank you Landhaus Team - I will come back!

Room was very good, clean, spacious, nice washing area! Breakfast was plenty, good quality and very good, I would have expected a little bit more options from a 4 star hotel Restaurant is very nice, fast service, quite pricey but then this is Switzerland. Definitely on par with the 4 stars of the hotel.

A larger breakfast, but that is not really a complaint, because it was plenty for us, it is more an expectation of sorts. Pricey menu of the restaurant, but combination of four stars and Switzerland this might me unrealistic. And the quality and service of the restaurant probably more than justifies the price.

Our room faced beautiful mountains and greenery – a truly stunning view. The restaurant had a very cosy and warm atmosphere, perfect for some good couple time. Upon arrival/ departure, we were offered coffee or tea and were able to settle into a very comfortable area. We had breakfast on the terrace, facing the breathtaking view of the mountains and nature, with the sun gently warming the ambiance – it was a lovely moment. The staff were generally very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Simon, in particular, was always there to make sure we had a great stay. He was very kind, made the effort to speak French with us, and clearly explained everything we needed to know. We would definitely come back – no hesitation!

We had an amazing stay at hotel Landhaus. The staff was friendly and even spoke French. We felt immediately welcomed. The room was spacious and comfortable. It is great that they accept dogs! The nightlight was clearly the food. The dinner was great with local products (including vegetarian options!) and the breakfast buffet has plenty of local cheese, charcuterie, home-made bread and cereals. I would love to come back!

The noise from the road would be the only downside but of course not something the hotel can do anything about :-)

Parking out front, superb views from the room , balcony and terrace. Very clean hotel, Comfortable bed Simon and his team are so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was a great one. Coop and petrol station almost next door. Walks into the village and surrounding countryside.

It’s not a dislike but the hotel is right on the road and therefore those heading for the Furkastrasse start early so for lighter sleepers, maybe a room at the back would be more suitable. No AC, which is standard across the area.

I stayed 2 nights for cycling and the location of the hotel is perfect, not exactly on the climbs and but within a proper distance, it is also next to grocery shop and gas station. The premise is well maintained, the room I stayed is fresh and clean. I guess the evenings are famous in close proximity as I saw people/groups are coming just for food and indeed the food was tasty and worth trying. I didnt taste any wine as I have to recover well in the evenings but the amount of selection seems OK. The ladies at the service are guest oriented and very lovely.This is NOT something you can find in that region. I m not sure how the hotel is suitable for winter times as I saw a lazy lift next to the hotel but you are in the middle of ski oasis, I believe you will find something within short car reach. I also used the ski room which was also above standards.

I m aware it was going to be packed but the single room was small. It is not something I didnt like but make sure you have checked the m2 while doing the bookings.

Great service, offered a drink on check-in. Very nice and charming hotel, I couldn't stay longer and try the restaurant but it looked very nice as well. Conveniently located with in such a wonderful valley. Nice amenity products. Expresso coffee machine in the room.

Only problem was the rooms are not so well isolated and you can be unlucky to hear noisy people from other rooms and corridor.

An amazing hotel with great Swiss vibe. To get there by car you have to cross scary and exciting twisty mountain roads reaching heights of well above 2 km (Furka Pass, Grimsel Pass, Nufenen Pass) and when you get there, you are greeted by cowbell sounds, mountain views and unique Swiss style hotel styling. The room is nice and very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. I would give this hotel 5 ⭐!

The only drawback is breakfast which didn't have a wide variety of choice.
