Came to do some cycling in the area, and needed a place to stay for a few nights. Hotel Nufenen was ideally located for this, at the foot of the Furka, Grimsel, and Nufenen Pass climbs, with terrific scenery and a water fountain just outside. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, I was able to dine here in the evenings and there was plenty on offer for breakfast. The room had a very cosy alpine feel to it, so I was very happy! Also had secure storage for bikes!

I stayed for 4 nights on a motorbike tour in the summertime in the Swiss Alps. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and flexible. The breakfast was simple however made from high quality local food. The supper was tasty with healthy veggies and relatively large portions. My motorbike slept in a closed garage every night. The location is perfect as many 5-star panorama roads are in the surrounding. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all I needed. Mountain walkway for short tours starts at the doorstep.

The road is sometimes loud.

Right on the road, so quite noisy, but rural so inkeeping with the country setting. The room would have benefited with a fan, being high summer.

A really authentic wooden building with cozy rooms. The receptionist was super friendly, warm and welcoming, she made as feel very relaxed and at home. The room was spotless, all the facilities working properly. Breakfast also was good.

Beautiful and well maintained hotel placed in gorgeous area. Super friendly staff that can help you with everything you need to have great experience during your stay. Moreover delicious breakfast based on local products and tasty coffee.

The room was very spacious for 4 persons and the ambient was great. Also the location for exploring is awesome.

You could hear plumbing between rooms, so not so well isolated.

Great location for langlauf skiers, close to the ‘Sonnenloipe’. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room (I had one of the five single rooms on the upper floors). Good breakfast.

What a fantastic hotel! Super friendly staff. Fantastic location. Quiet and very clean, I had an amazing sleep and the breakfast was superb.. Highly recommend it if you're in the area.

Everything was perfect.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, helped us with anything we would ask for (despite language barriers). Clean and comfortable rooms, good location (close to ski tracks and rental locations)
