Its location was great, the room was really lovely and comfortable with a great walk in shower, the the food was top rate. However, none of this could be beaten by the warmth of the welcome we received from all the staff, who went out of their way to make our stay special L

Lots of flies from a neighbouring farming unit, but we were provided with very effective fly killer. I think it was just because they were bring in the hay.

Easy to find.Good storage for our e-bikes with power for charging. Bedroom was light with balcony with a good view. Comfortable bed. Kettle was appreciated. Dinning room was well furnished and provided a good choice on the menu. Best Roshti I have tasted. Staff very ready to help with any issues etc (we did not have any concerns).

Ideally Earl Grey tea would have been one of the options in the bedroom. BBC World appeared not to be working on the TV.

Great location for my cycling, climbed the Furkapass and the Grimselpass, would also have climbed to Nufenenpass if the weather had cooperated. Really friendly staff, flexible with the breakfast times to match our plans. Large room, really clean, great shower.

It was a shame the restaurant wasn't running but we totally understood the reason why.

I really enjoyed my stay at hotel Alpenhof. The bedroom was very spacious and clean and the balcony overlooked the mountain. Breakfast was really varied and we also had dinners there, which was very handy after a day hiking. The hotel is located in a very small village in the valley, the location is just beautiful and relaxing. The owners are simply amazing, very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is family owned and the owners just make you feel like at home. I really recommend this hotel.

The place is an absolute surprise. The hosts, two brothers, make you feel like part of the family, they are among the dying guild of exceptional hosts, not by faking anything, but by living and breathing the craft of making people feel welcome and comfortable and this cozy place in the mountains. Great food on top, lots of jokes and a perfectly clean and comfy room, what else can one ask for. Need to come back!

I liked absolutely everything.

The friendly laid back atmosphere of the place, and the warmness of the welcome, despite the very difficult personal circumstances that they were in this year. This is the 9th year that I have spent some time here, and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful smaller hotel situated right by the most wanted Swiss passes. Very friendly owners and especially great cuisine. You can park your motorbike in the common garage if you travel by motorbike. The rooms are smaller but adequately equipped and above all the hotel environment is very homely.

Count on the fact that it is a wooden building, where everything is more audible.

Very friendly hosts. Accommodated our bicycles in the secure garage. Good food. Large comfortable room. Easy check in and check out. Quite a few flys when you dine outside but the hosts have some little propeller devices they bring to the table and that seemed to help a little.

There was nothing we didn't like, It was great. Expensive, but great - but's it's Switzerland so you need to factor that in.

Mr. Floris and his lovely family are truly exceptional at their job. Great service, very nice big rooms, very clean, and exceptional fresh breakfast. Views, location, quietness, and parking is also great. But first and foremost is that hotel is run by amazing people who treat guests like their family.

There is nothing to write negative, hotel exceeded all my expectations.

Everything - from first arrival the owner was very accommodating and extreamly welcoming. Secure parking for our motorcycles and a very warm welcome, followed by a quick and simple check in. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing and the after dinner drinks at the bar chatting to the owner was very good. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. I would recommend anyone to stay here.
