Beautifully peaceful and relaxing, the location was idyllic, slightly off the tourist track but accessible by train. We travelled from Zurich to Rapperswil by ferry and then hopped on the train for the final 10mins journey - a relaxing way to start the trip and get some sightseeing in at the same time. Breakfast was spot on, seating outside looking over the lake was a perfect start to the mornings. We also had dinner 3 out of 4 evenings in the restaurant - the food was excellent (my husband loved the lemongrass soup) and also treated to spectacular sunsets over the lake.whilst dining. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed was really comfy and to top it off a decent shower. We loved watching all the birds on the lake, the swans with their cygnets, watching the coots nest and we even ventured for a swim in the lake.ourselves. Thank you for a memorable stay

Beautiful and exceptional location. Garden facilities next to the lake and accessible right from the bungalows. The interior decoration of the Bungalow is lovely, excellent taste and very functional which makes it easy and pleasant to stay in the bungalow as a family of 4 (children aged 1 and 4). All of the stuff members were very friendly and human to all of us. Children were very welcome, even in the restaurant, which served excellent food. Breakfast was delicious, very good selection and variety of mainly regional products.

Our room overlooking the water was spacious and beautifully decorated- my husband, who can be critical, remarked that it was one of the nicest rooms we had been to in an extended time. Lovely small veranda to sit and view the water along with goats (and cute kid goats) grazing outside. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and was fresh. Dinner also lovely with good service and nice tables again with water views. There are plentiful tables outside but the weather was a little cool so we sat inside.

It’s in a slightly odd area that appears somewhat industrial as you approach it; but once there, it’s lovely.

The location, with the view over the lake, is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable and modern.

The “beach” looked not very welcoming, but I guess this was due to the rainy days ahead of our stay. Also, the toilet was totally open which is a little bit weird if you are not in the room alone.

large and modern room, walk-in shower, large double bed, terrace and equipped garden, with a view and 20 m from the lake. Good restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake and lakeside setting. super friendly staff. in the garden you can do sauna, yoga and pilates while the birds sing. I swam in the lake: a paradise! 😃

The location is picturesque. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Probably would have been a 10 if we hadn't booked on such a hot day.

Wasn't great in the heat. Rooms were very hot and uncomfortable being upstairs with no air con. Mosquitoes meant we couldn't leave windows open all night.

Wonderful location on the top floor annex for a spectacular view of the setting sun over water! Sumptuously appointed, spacious room and balcony. Wonderful, welcoming and attentive staff. Excellent walk-in-walk-out for daytime discoveries of local sights.

Breakfast was a bit dull and not inclusive of usual Swiss staples (like natural yoghurt & cottage cheese). Access to the main hotel was fiddly and not suitable for poor mobility. Lighting (and signage) to the ‘driveway’ was poor for vehicle or pedestrians at night. Honestly, our rating would be higher had the room not been overpriced. CHF15 per dog.

Beautiful c;lean and comfortable room with a view on the lake. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Bed quality, view from the terrasse, global bungalow equipment, good breakfast, host welcoming.

Limited lunch/ diner options in the area, especially on Mondays when the restaurant of the hotel is closed.

The deluxe bungalow was in wonderful condition - appeared to be new construction. Great view of the lake with friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast! Will definitely be back.
