Lofted room with a great view, host was friendly and the room was on a lovely little quiet street facing the ocean. Breakfasts were a mix of "western" and traditional food depending on the day.

The color scheme was black so it was a bit dark and the stairs are quite steep but we're fine. The bathroom had no door and came off the bedroom but it was clean. Showering set up was basic with only a 2 towels available and no face cloths/hand cloths/bathroom soap provided. Downstairs could be more functional, there was a mini fridge, water dispenser and little couch but no cutlery/microwave/hot plate/table to use. The decor was uniquely froggy and not exactly what we were expecting but it grew on us.

Beautiful room and the best view ever! The lady and her brother who run this place are really nice and kind, they made us feel welcomed and went out of their way to make us comfortable too. Highly recommended staying here if you are visiting Jiufen as you can visit the old street in the early hours before it gets crowded.

The son of the owner was very helpful. He offered a map for us to go around, and suggested good spots for food. He made us feel welcome and comfortable. The house has good taste with nice decoration. Excellent view. Convenient to the night time view spot.

Nice and comfy room with lovely ocean & mountain view. Our room is exactly as the photo displayed. Very helpful staff to greet us at the carpark, picked up our luggage with scooter and guided our way up uphill & downhill as we checked out.

Minimum 20 minutes walk from the carpark with fleets of very narrow staircases. Not recommended for elderlies and parents travelling with babies.

The view from our room is fantastic. The location is perfect. It is easy to walk to Jioufen old street. We will stay again if we visit this town next time.

It is far from car parking so you have to walk a long way to the hotel. (The hotel’s staff help us carry the luggages.) Not recommend for people who have problem with walking on slope street and stairs.

Location was right at the old town street, full of shops and specialty food stalls. Hotel management went out of the way to accommodate us. They recommended a sightseeing program of the area, kept our luggage while we're out and delivered them to location where our car was to pick us up after a full day of sightseeing. Very appreciated.

Overall was really beautiful, relax..the only thing that needs to take note is the stairs steep to upper level..as well as at night there’s alots of noise coming fm the wall n roof top..sound of scratching n it quite frequently..get a bit scare otherwise is good.

the owner was so nice! he came to the parking lot on a little bike and guided us to the room :) even gave us a map and explanation of the area. super responsive via messaging. great guy!
