Location of the property was good, and located away from Juifen’s bustling old street. It was modern, main area was clean and had some great views looking down the mountain.

Downsides to the accomodation was the bathroom layout. To access the toilet you have to walk through the shower area. It’s not made clear when booking that you are not permitted to flush anything down the toilet. A hose is provided but very impractical to use. There was also an odour if damp in the bathroom as a result of it being a wet area. The mattress on our bed also needed an upgrade. It seemed old and very soft.

I had a fantastic stay at H& Jiufen Ore Inn. The inn is charming and well-located, offering breathtaking views of Jiufen’s scenic landscape. The room was clean and cosy, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff was welcoming and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and providing great local recommendations. Its convenient location made it easy to explore Jiufen’s old streets and nearby attractions. Overall, it is a great choice for those looking for a comfortable and scenic retreat in Jiufen.

Whether you come by public transport or drive there, the bus stop or parking lot is a bit of a distance from the hotel, and the walk can be tiring, especially with luggage

The scenery and location was beyond comparison with quite a marvelous price during the weekday. It’s clean and the staff were friendly and helping. The public area was equipped fountain machine, small oven and microwave which were really convenient.

The illumination in the room was not very evenly distributed, which meant that part of the room was too bright and part too shadowy. Yet we could saw it as a room of different atmospheres. The talking and sounds from the lobby was quite penetrating.

Near the Jiu fen street, the staff is nice! And they have free snacks, too bad I didnt have the chance to try their free coffee.

The water heater was quite bad, and if you turned to the hot water, the water pressure from the shower head will become very low..I had a hard time taking shower cause it was cold at night in Jiu Fen and I really need to take shower with hot water. The position of the heater/ the bed is somewhat at the wrong place. We turned on the heater but couldnt feel any heat, the air from the heater is facing the hangers instead of our bed, causing the hangers collide and causing some noises at night..

The location is a little further out but it was worth it for the views I woke up to. That was the reason I booked this hotel. You can venture at night and early morning before it gets crowded. I only took an overnight bag but you definitely will struggle with large suitcases. Bed was comfy and my room had everything I needed. Staff were really lovely and very helpful.

We had a pleasant stay here. The accom was in a good location (not too near the busy streets but still walkable), staff was friendly, the room was well equipped with essentials (shower was really nice), good room design, there's a bidet in the toilet, plus there were free snacks and coffee/water.

The wifi in our room is not working probably because it was 2 floors underground.

This hotel is very cute! Staff were friendly, bed was comfortable and everything was clean! We loved staying here and would come again! Good to note: It is at the top of the market street, so we caught a taxi up to avoid bringing our suitcases through the crowds. and we walked them down when the streets were quiet 😁 the higher you stay the better the view!

The location of the property is accessible and easy to locate. The vibe and look of the accommodation, from the outlook to the interior are designed well; gives a cosy, warm and trendy feeling. There is a small pantry for guests, which adequately meet our needs! Love the space of our room, and the details in it too. The staff was very helpful and warm, addressed our questions and needs. We took the longer route on foot to reach the accommodation, hiked up multiple flights of stairs, when we could have walked from Jiu Fen Old Street main entrance (next to 7-eleven). The staff told us to call them directly in the future if we do need any assistance!

Very pleasant stay, quiet and well designed room. Spacious and comfortable. Would definitely loved to stay longer here and be back again. Clean sheets and bathroom. Thank you so much.

It is tucked in a corner of the busy streets, getting there requires some effort and strength. Luggage is no-no; advise backpacking.

Staff were so kind and helpful, we got soaked in the rain and they helped us to dry our shoes. The rooms were really beautiful and cosy too, with stunning ocean views. It was slightly out of the main town, which was perfect for us, and only a 5 minute walk into the main area.
