The common areas here are so spacious. The staff are friendly and speak English. I liked that you can pay by card as well. Good facilities with fridges, microwaves, hot and cold water dispensers and laundry. Excellent WiFi. Clean and spacious common bathrooms. The single room was more spacious than most Taiwanese single rooms and had a desk. I really liked that you can control the temperature in the room, rather than just having the central Aircon. The little basket in the room, for carrying your toiletries to the bathroom, was a nice touch. They also clean the slippers between each guest, much appreciated. It's really close to the metro and a youbikes station. 7-eleven is within walking distance, and so is Pxmart which has those imported western items you can't find at 7-eleven.

The reason I picked this hostel is that the description on Booking.com said outdoor furniture and designated smoking area. The furniture is put out around 8.30am and packed up at 5pm! Who needs it daytime? Also the electric outlets are inconveniently placed right IN the bed. The cables got ripped off several times during the night and you got to sleep with all your electronics inside the single bed! After booking a female room, I was asked twice to confirm I was female! Is it really somebody who gets that detail wrong?

The hostel's location is great! It's just a few minutes away from the MRT station. There's also a nearby 7/11 and you can cross to the other side of the road where there are malls and a grocery store (I believe).

The staff wasn't as friendly as I expected. Especially those who clean the rooms. I was working during my whole stay and there were times when the cleaning lady would come into the room and clean it while I was there working. She didn't say hi or excuse me, or sorry (she uses a vacuum cleaner which is obviously noisy). It also seemed like the people who clean are in a hurry doing so (not to disturb us) but it felt like they hated what they were doing.

Nothing but good things to say about Flyinn Hostel! First off, it is very conveniently located, right across the MRT. There are convenience stores nearby. Staff are pleasant and accommodating, even offered me a free room upgrade. The rooms are clean and esthetically pleasing. I can definitely attest to its high quality soundproofing. I was here during Typhoon Krathon and the room was quiet despite the 100kph howling winds outside, which I only heard in the shared bathroom. They provide you with keycard lockers, and I appreciated the hangers and shower caddy with toothbrush and toothpaste. The shared bathroom is one of the cleanest I have experienced in nearly 50 hostels worldwide. There is enough space in the showers to hang/place toiletries and clothes, and there are more than enough toilets and showers such that it never feels full. Each toilet also has a bidet and lots of toilet paper plus a spray. All in all, it was a great place to stay and I would definitely come back here again.

Excellent location, very close to MRT and a shopping mall with food options and convenience store. Large common area. Female area different floor, so it is completely separate from the male/mixed area. Very clean and the bathroom has several stalls and showers and is well equipped. Use of shared fridge and water cooler for refills. Bed is comfortable, private locker and shelf with hangers in dorm room.

Unfortunately no towel is provided, you have to bring your own, which actually seems to be the norm in Taiwan so come prepared. Having a breakfast option would be nice.

Very clean. Recently renovated. Very close, walking distance to the metro. Shared bathrooms were clean. Nice hot showers. There was a night market within walking distance about 3 blocks or so. Excellent food choices at the market.

I booked a private hostel room. The room was very small, enough to fit a mattress and small desk, but they have a nice living room area near the lobby and they have some place to sit down and work on your computer right outside the room. I just used the room for sleeping which worked great.

A very well set up hostel, with convenient facilities. The dorm was very clean and spacious with lots of natural light and a desk area. The bathrooms and the dining area were also really big. There is a coin laundry and dryer and a good dedicated space for hanging up clothes. The location isn't the most inspiring, but it's close to the train station and a few vegetarian food options. I didn't find it very social, but this seems to be the case at many Taiwanese city hostels.

Very close to metro station, mall and shops. Love that they have self service laundry on site. Big common area. Staff was helpful especially the lady who did the housekeeping for the lady floor :) she went to get a dehumidifier when I requested one for the room because it was so humid that I couldn’t sleep well on the first night. The dehumidifier worked well.

The WiFi connection in the room was weak and slow. My mobile data worked faster than the WiFi but it worked well at the common area… common bathroom was alright but if there is a wall organiser that would be great because you wouldn’t want to put your own bath liquids on the floor…

Well located. Female floor has a big bathroom with enough toilets, showers, sinks and space to get ready. Lockers and shelves to store your stuff. There is also a big eating room next to the counter if you want to make a snack.

It could have been a bit cleaner: there were tiny ants working in front of my locker, and the shower turned into a swimming pool in 1min. It misses a tablet next to the bed to store your things, to avoid that they fall on the person under you when you sleep.

Location was very near mrt red line, convenient. It is close to shopping mall(FE).

Haha it was one of the elevators completely covered with cardboard. We really had thought wildly that it may not be the best place at first but when it opened to the hostel itself oh my how awesome it was. The place was slick, modern, clean and beyond expectation. We were placed on the all women floor btw.

It’s convenience, 2 min walk from Sanduo Shopping District MRT Station, it’s located in a nice area, lounge super comfortable, spacious and with several amenities, room was really good comfortable, they offer locker inside the room that only opens with your room key

That they don’t offer towel perhaps, but is not something that bad, I do bring my towel when traveling and they let you know about it in advanced
