I like the most - Boss / Owner. I salute her, even at this age she works everyday. Trust me after longtime, I had a peaceful sleep. If you miss home, please visit this place. Everyone is so friendly and happy going. Rooms are spotless clean. Bed is so comfortable and large. It's more like home. So, please treat in that way, don't treat like hostel. This place gives a break being solo and becoming a family member. I loved this beautiful family home. Big thanks to the whole team. Amazing. What an wonderful location. Everything is just so close-up.

- The hostel is very close to the metro and a busstop, which is very convenient. - Staff was very friendly and helpful; one of the girls of the staff played several rounds of Uno with our children, which they loved. Because our kids liked staying at the hostel so much, we stayed another night. - The common room is really nice and the hostel has a quiet, but lively and laidback atmosphere. - I loved that I could get a cup of green tea in the morning for free. - Location is really central to a lot of sights in Kaohsiung. - The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. - Showers are really good as well. - There are dozens of games in the common room that you can borrow; same goes for books. - We arrived an hour early and we just wanted to leave our bags, but they let us check in anyway, which was super friendly.

- Nothing really. Some guests were a bit noisy during our second night there, but it was Saturday evening, so not entirely unexpected.

This hostel is excellent, conveniently located right next to the Sanduo Shopping District metro station. The beds are spacious and comfortable. While there are no on-site laundry facilities, you can hand wash your clothes and hang them to dry on the rooftop. A clothes spinner is available on the rooftop. Additionally, several nearby laundry shops are easily accessible.

The location on Google Maps is misleading. The hostel is actually on the opposite side of the road. It’s on the right side, not the left.

It’s a very well-located and reasonably priced hostel. I don’t understand why so many reviews mentioned that the staff and the old lady weren’t friendly. I think the people who left bad reviews might have been the problem. I was a bit worried at first, but in the end, everything was totally fine. Everyone was actually really friendly and nice! 😊

Nice location. Good ratio quality price. Free coffee, tea, milk tea. Nice owner: she really appreciates if you try to speak Chinese, and often offers something (to eat or to drink) to random customers.

No laundry machine (but around the corner there is a cheap laundromat, like 40$), but they have fast drying clothes balcony on the roof (in a couple of hours everything dry). Receptionist that speaks English arrives late in the afternoon, therefore if you don't speak Chinese is advisable to not arrive too early.

The rooms and the bathrooms are okay, you can stay there long time and no problem.

The only bad thing it’s the people who works there start to clean when you are in bed, they’re turn off the AC, go inside of the room and started to clean, idk why they did that, but that’s the only bad thing.

It was nice, pretty clean, staff was nice. Beds were comfortable and it was in the district near the mall and very close to the metro, so good location.

People were being very noisy well past 11 p.m. Also had to wait to take a shower because a lof of people wanted to take a shower at the same time and there were only 3 for up uto 16 guests on that floor.

I like this place. Simple yet comfortable, close to the metro, walking distance to the best dumplings and noodle shops in Kaohsiung (near 7-11 and Watson's, another one on the left side before you reach 7-11). FREE coffee and tea, friendly staff, designated smoking area. Quiet and comfy bunk beds, free shampoo, body wash & toilet paper (no bidet), small towels at 20NTD, toothbrush & paste at 10NTD. FREE WIFI, spacious and comfy common area.

I am just bad with directions and that is my fault. Other than that, the location is very convenient.

The staff kept the place clean all the time. The lady of the house enforced using house slippers only to be used inside no exceptions, which helped keep the house clean.

The air conditioning was not on all the time but it was on most of the time when needed. No towels but this is expected for a hostel

Location was just a few blocks away from Sandou Shopping District MRT Station so it was very convenient and accessible. Facilities are clean and the staff are nice, will definitely come back. 😍 It's really worth the money.

It's not a big issue but there were no curtain coverings for each bed (so you can just put a towel or shawl to do it) and there's no bidet at the toilets, but it's fine everything was GREAT!
