Spotless clean,no strange odours whatsoever, comfy mattress and pillows,solid air conditioning..Cute little foyer with free snacks in the morning. The reception staff was helpful and with good English. Location is amazing!Walking distance to all attractions in the West District, convenience store a min away, Snail Alley next door. Bus stops for buses to different areas within 5 min walking distance.

No hand soap in the bathroom. Shampoo and body wash provided. The hotel did state that no toiletries are available,but hand soap is essential.

Perfect location, close to a lot of tourist attractions such as Tainan Art Museum, Hayashi Department Store, Taiwan Confucius Temple. Walking distance to busy area with lots of food and beverages shops. We booked a quadruple room, we love it, the pictures shown in the booking.com match, pretty spacious as we expected, clean and beds are comfortable.

The room temperature was a bit too warm, we did turn on the air conditioner then it became too cold. Luckily we went there during winter, it helped having to be able to open our window so in the end no issue.

Staff were very helpful and friendly! We needed quite a bit of help navigating the buses and they generously shared tips on where to go and what to eat. The room was spacious and clean. We were also surprised by the breakfast service - it is simple but tasty. The location was also great, we were within walking distance from many attractions. There is also a popular food restaurant right across the road from us. We think the 24 hour reception service is a great idea.

A cosy & comfy place with helpful young staff. The twin room was simple, functional and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was good. There was also sufficient space to open up two big luggage. The lobby with the breakfast corner was a nice sit-down area for guests to eat and chat.

Not so near to eateries & shops

We expected a budget hotel when we booked. Brown hotel is better than our expectation. The hotel is clean, comfort, and convenient. Staffs are helpful, some can speak English. The location is convenient. We recommend hotel Brown.

Bathroom is a bit small, a better design could help.

The hotel is at a very convenience location. Close to Lin Department Store, restaurants and shops. Even though it is located along a busy road, the room is very quite. Staff are very polite and helpful, very proactive in suggesting good restaurants. There is a small corner of bread/bun/cereal and drink in the morning. Freshly brew coffee is a bonus for travellers. I will definitely come back

The shower door has a bottom track that is higher than usual, that is very easy to hit with your foot as you walk in and out.

Room was peaceful and quiet. Really appreciated the cleanliness of the place. Staff was nice and helpful. I even got complimentary snacks for my stay during the holidays. Location is excellent.

Great location for all the things we had planned and very spacious for a standard double room! We enjoyed our stay.

The sink was a little small

Location is great as its quite near to a few attraction like Chikan tower n the mazu temple etc and the staff are very friendly and helpful

rooms abit smaller than expected n the bathroom hot water takes some time to get heat up
