We had such a good stay at this hotel! We could check-in early, received a free upgrade upon checking in, it was quiet and we slept very well, and the next day our luggage was stored after we checked out. The staff were efficient and friendly. The location was close to the Metro, just a short walk and we had access to anywhere we needed to be in Beijing. It was a good stay and we can strongly recommend this hotel.

Super cozy and spacious. Loved the rain tapping on the tin roof. The space is airy and light, clean and in a sweet little alley. Bathtub and shower. Great price!

There needs to be a warning sign at the stairs on the way down. My friend (1.85m) hit his head multiple times. Beware if you come by car — street is tiny!

The rooftop is really thin so you can hear the rain really loud😅 And the temple next to the place was having some kind of ceremony and it was super festive!

The location of the accommodation is conveniently close to the city center, making daily life easy. There is a free scooter parking area nearby (about a 3-minute walk). The mattress is on the softer side, offering relatively comfortable sleep. Simple disposable slippers are provided, so you don't have to step directly on the cold floor. There are also plenty of power outlets available.

This is an old house renovated into a guesthouse, so the overall soundproofing is poor. I stayed in the "復刻花磚" room, and its window faces the staircase. Every time other guests use the stairs, the sensor lights turn on and directly affect the lighting inside the room. Since smoking is prohibited in the rooms, a designated smoking area is set up outdoors on the ground floor. However, due to the room's location, cigarette smoke is noticeable, and external noises are very clear as well. Despite the host running a dehumidifier and air conditioning before my arrival, the room still felt damp. Additionally, the dehumidifier was quite noisy. The bathtub, made of small stone material, takes a long time to fill and isn't comfortable for prolonged use. The room directly faces a local temple, perhaps it was festival season, activities such as drumming and chanting sounds started as early as 6 AM. Although the host thoughtfully provides earplugs, the noise remains distinctly audible, which affects sleep quality. The curtains are roller shades and do not block out light effectively. If you're traveling alone and don't have high expectations for the sleeping environment, this place could be an option. However, for travelers sensitive to sleep quality, it may be worth reconsidering.
