Excellent and friendly host! Ms.Jiajia msg us and waited for our arrival just before 6pm. Explained well including the facilities in the building. Unit doesn't have keys. Instead, it uses QR code to access building every time. Easy and safe The room is exactly advertised, clean, good tatami and warm lighting, fridge for common use located upstairs with tea/coffee/water. Our room came with a nice and zen style backyard, super love it! We even got lovely welcome snacks in our room! Location is awesome too, a short walk to Shennong street and many good food that's popular among locals around hostel area. On our departure, just ensure you've taken everything and off you go, super easy! The host even came out to thank us for the stays and asked if we needed some help to call for a taxi. Will definitely recommend our friends and suggest everyone to try visit the lovely Isshoni if staying in Tainan. Thank you once again for the stays! 😊

Overall, I love everything here. If I really need to pick something, I'll say the sewage smells emitting from outdoors from time to time. Was sitting in the lovely backyard on a fine evening when the sewage stench became unbearable. We ended up staying inside the room most of the time to avoid the smell. Other than that, it's an excellent cute place to stay over.

The location was great, tucked away in a busy part of town, providing a little oasis away from it all. Shennong Street is close by. Check-in was easy and pleasant. They have an amenities bar where you can pick out new pillows or get tea or coffee if you want. There's a communal fridge if you'd like to buy something and keep it cool. My room was cozy and just the right size and the bed was very comfortable. The cafe connected to the property was one of the nicest ones I visited in Tainan. It has a very limited menu but the vibe is great and the things I ordered were of high quality.

I got a room with a tub on the patio but it wasn't terribly private and it was so hot I ended up not using it. Tainan is a big city that really doesn't sleep so there was street noise all night long. If you're a light sleeper I'd recommend earplugs but street noise is going to be almost anywhere in the city.

The host was super helpful and had great recommendations for the area. We were within walking distance of some amazing food, night markets, and temples. The bedroom was super clean and we also had a little garden area that was extra cute. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom was private and nice but could have been a little nicer. That being said it was still wonderful. I did have a little trouble with the QR code door, but then again I think my phone was being silly; my partner didn't have any trouble.

The hotel was in a great location - right around the corner from Shennong street which is beautiful. The room was great - comfortable bed, smart TV, great sized bathroom. The hotel gives you a postcard which they will post to anywhere in the world which was a lovely gesture. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.

Everything. Amazingly attentive and friendly staff. Very helpful with everything, even after we checked out. Room is clean, nice and cozy. Cool little Zen garden. They even prepared us a little surprise because we were on a honeymoon.

Nothing. Perhaps the sewage smell outside in the garden - but it is everywhere in the city and not something they can do anything about. 😁

It felt very cozy like a nice house The staff was also really incredible - their service went above and beyond - 11/10! I needed help buying a train ticket and one employee walked with me to the 711 and helped me buy a ticket !!

Nothing sometimes room key a little difficult to use

What a perfect stay! The kindness and helpfulness of the host made our Tainan stay incredibly memorable. The guidebook provided gave great insight to the area! We loved our rooms which were comfortable and showers had great pressure. Lovely and clean with a cute cafe attached! Also really appreciated the snacks and umbrellas for guest use.

The room was clean, comfortable and stylish. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is in the heart of Tainan and you are close to many of Tainan’s delicious small eats.

The property is right near a temple that was hosting an early morning procession that woke us up at the crack of dawn one morning. Not even earplugs could protect us from the racket.

Very thoughtfully designed space, combining both new features and old Tainan aspects well. The host was super friendly and helpful, we had a great time there. The outdoor bath provided was also very enjoyable despite the hot weather.

The shower door was not sealed properly, so water would leak out when showering.

Really like the design and deco of the entire house. It’s so cozy, just like coming back home. Our room has a really cool deco theme done by an Hong Kong artist and a small balcony. The public area is also really nice, especially like the reading corner. The owner and the staff are really kind and helpful. The location is really nice too, close to 神農街. Would definitely consider coming back.
