I loved the staff, very sweet and helpful. Recommended where to go for eating and asked about my day, made me feel very welcome. Location is great, this is the area you want to be in for eating and sightseeing. Taxi from train station 100-130 TWD (not really walkable with big bag). Free bike rental. Big room, clean, confortable bed, sheets and towels provided. I will stay here if I come back and recommend this place to everyone! One of my favourite places I stayed in Taiwan!

You hear some sound, from outside and inside, but honestly, this is standard for Taiwan - you won’t find a place this prize range with soundproofing.

I had a very comfortable stay in this hostle. The room, bathroom, and the common room are all very clean and look nice. The beds are very comfy. The upper beds on the bunk bed don't have curtains around them, but the lower ones do. The bathroom is in the room and so, is convenient to access. The location is perfect and is in downtown Tainan. They don't have washing machines but there are laundromats near the hostle and they lend bicycles to guests for free. If you have a chance, chat with the owner. He's very knowledgable about Taiwan and is an entrepreneur who has creative ideas. He and his assistant helped me plan a trip in Taiwan for over an hour! I was so grateful that they took that much of their time for me. It was great talking to them.

The hotel is in a really good position to visit Tainan (very close to a few main touristic spots and only 20 minutes of bus away from Anping). The room was spacious and nicely decorated, the bed was really comfortable and we had a lot of commodities included in the price. There is also the possibility of renting bikes, which is a big plus! The staff was very nice :)

There is not always someone at the front, so checking in took some time, but we were able to leave the luggages anyway. The room was overall very clean, but the shower area had some mold. It's nothing if you aren't too concerned by that, but if for example you are allergic it's probably not the best.

The hostel lobby is very warm and inviting. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The location is wonderful, just a few blocks away from the shops and restaurants of the Shennong Street area. The rooms are air-conditioned, with towel and slippers provided. The owner was very welcoming. The price is very good for what you get, and I'd definitely stay here again if solo-traveling in Tainan.

The lockers in the shared dormitories for storing luggage don't come with locks. The bathroom, while serviceable, had a small leak by the toilet, and I saw a few ants. I believe the hotel is run by a family, so there is no full-time staff at the front desk. Thus, I had to wait for a few minutes for the owner to arrive to be able to check in.

2nd time I stay at this property. Amazing super kind staff that try to make your trip nicer. Very large rooms. Very interesting location. Very good value. Also, the free rental bicycles were a complete game changer and made our trip a lot better. Super appreciated!

I wish there was a little bit more light in the bathroom. The bed wobbles.

Really lovely and welcoming place with an interesting owner who will explain you everything about the history of this marvellous place. Thanks to the hundreds of historical city maps inside the hotel you get a beautiful introduction to Taiwan and Tainan as a city and their heritage. The hostel team is nice and helpful. Just wonderful.

Location was good. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, milk tea, market. Staff are very nice. Wifi was good. Free use of bikes

Building looks old, our chosen room for our family didn't have windows. They should install a shower curtain to avoid water from being all over the toilet and bath.

Staff was wonderful ! I received lots of great tips for delicious local food in the area :) Location is also excellent, in the middle of the nightlife area, hostel is quiet though.

Middle upper bunk bed lacked any privacy. No curtains and it was so close to one of the other upper bunk beds that the other person could even touch you

The staff were warm and friendly. Very genuine people. He highlighted all the best places to visit on a map for us. He also told us the significants of many of the places. There are even free bikes that you can use and the owner gave us some post cards as a parting gift. The rooms are large in size. They also gave us a free room upgrade for one with a window. The location is also walkable to many of the main spots.
