Second common room was 10/10 for getting work done with a great view of the river!!! Great location, close but not too close to the markets and all the historic sites Staff were super helpful, had a bad room-mate day 1 and they had no problem moving me had a barbet

This place is in an awesome location, close to everything. Just a few steps from the main tourist drag and waterfront. Lots of worthwhile attractions nearby. Hostel was nice and clean and having a big locker was nice. The roof area was a bonus. Great place to relax and take in the view of the mountain and harbor. Carrie was a helpful receptionist, and gave me lots of good local tips. Would definitely stay again.

The location was the best part of this stay at Travelers Hostel. The neighborhood and boardwalk added much to the experience of staying in Tamsui. The rooms and bathrooms are set up as best they can for shared accommodations.
The WiFi actually did not work at all. I tried connecting to different ones for this hostel. No luck.

Location is not far away from MRT station and near many tourist attractions. Staff are very friendly and the environment is clean. They offer free coffee or tea in the kitchen and that is very thoughtful for travelers.
The room I stayed is next to a shower room, which means I could hear sounds of showering and pumping when someone was showering at night.

The reception staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They are clearly interested in giving you the best experience possible.
There was a little bit of a musty smell in the room; but with the air conditioning on, it decreased. I am assuming the humidity is responsible for that.

The matress was too ferm for me, I couldn't sleep well because it was hurting... The showers and toilets weren't in the room, even though it was very close to the room so it was okay

The location is very convenient, walking distance to the piers to Fishermen's wharf, Bali, Old Street, and MRT. Many eating stalls to choose from. Staff is friendly. I will stay again when back to Tamsui.
The hostel did not provide a free rental towel. No bath mat after a shower.

I like that the accommodation is near the coast. I like how simple yet contains the basic needs and utensils (even free coffee was appreciated).

I liked that there was drinking water available so that I could fill my water bottle. I also liked that the lockers were big enough to fit my two backpack in it.

The location was good, easy to find. Staff was helpful.
Not the fault of the hostel but it was impossible to sleep when someone snores. The beds are too close together.
