There were a couple of things I like about the property. First, the room was very comfortable. It was neat and clean. There were complete amenities such as the towels, toiletries, slippers, extra pillow, fridge, safe box, table and chair, TV, hair dryer, bedside table with a drawer. It even has an air humidifier. The city view from the window was also nice while having a cup of coffee. What I loved the most was the bathroom. Second, the facilities. They already had a washing machine, a dryer and a flat iron. I hope they could let their guests bring it to their room though. The best part was the place where you can have breakfast (complimentary) had a good view of the mountain and Tamsui river. Breathtaking! Loved having my coffee there! Third, the location. It’s near a convenience store, supermarket, park, bus stop, LRT and MRT. So it’s so easy to go anywhere. Last but not the least, the hotel staff. They’re the most thoughtful and helpful staff I’ve ever met from all of my stays in New Taipei City. They’d ask me if I wanted housekeeping every time I left the hotel. So when I returned, my room was so clean and comfy. They also assisted me when I did my laundry and grabbing a taxi when I checked out from the hotel. Quality service, indeed!

We stayed twice, both times in sea facing rooms, on the 11th and 4th floor. The rooms were beautiful and the sea view was wonderful. The best rooms are 01 series so 121, 111 and so on, being large corner rooms with windows right across the room, corner and washrooms. The other sea facing rooms are also astonishingly good. The best views are from the highest floors as the lower rooms overlook the road and MRT line. The low floors are a torture due to the noise from the road, and the view is also blocked. Aim to be above the 7th floor if booking sea facing rooms. Definitely the best rooms (on account of the view) we have stayed in this year. The free breakfast was a welcome bonus. Great value overall. We were hesitant to book this hotel as it is quite a walk away from the MRT station. However the area is well served by bus and we discovered the bus system is linked to Google maps. Just put the location you need to get to on Google Maps and check the public transport option - it connects you seamlessly to your destination. Once we discovered this link with Google Maps we no longer needed to walk to the hotel. There are probably a dozen buses connecting the hotel to MRT and also to all locations in the Tansui area (like R26 to Fisherman's Wharf from Tansui). Getting around is super easy. We would recommend this hotel even for people interested in activities in the Beitou area as it is easily connected by public transport. Next time we travel to Taiwan we will aim to stay at this hotel for at least 7 days of our two week visit, so the entire time in Taipei. A great find at a great price.

Clean room with a nice view, staff were accommodating and friendly, the breakfast was very good, with both hot and cold choices. The hotel is in tamsui which is a newer area and was within walking distance of train stations and old streets

Well it was a bit older hotel and we had trouble communicating this is our fault since we don't speak Chinese but if you are similar to us just be aware you will use Google translate a bit, this is true for nearly all of Taiwan. Although close to trains and buses tamsui is far from central and you can be on transit for quite a while getting around and driving is worse since the road to tamsui gets gridlocked at least twice daily for hours.

Excellent large luxurious rooms with superb sea views provided you stay above the 7th floor. Lower floors are disturbed by road noise and should be avoided. Otherwise I would rate it the top choice in the Tamsui area. The best property (for the views of the mangrove and sea) on our two week visit of Taiwan. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus making it great value. Check Google maps for public transport options to travel to nearby places to visit and avoid walking to the hotel. It is very well connected by bus from the MRT stations on either side.

View, breakfast and rooms were great. Excellent value and service. Location was near a bus stop, 7-eleven and within reach of the mangrove walking trail.

Location was a little tough to get to restaurants on foot, but close to bus stop, and also 15-18 min walk from an MRT station. Rooms were great except for the super low shower curb in the family room was not sealed well and leaked a lot of water into the bathroom floor.

I paid a little extra and opted for the river/sea view room. I was luck to get a room on a high floor and the view was spectacular. The room was also quite spacious and well equipped. Overall, excellent value for money.

There isn't really much not to like. The hotel is about 10min walk from the Hongshulin MRT and there are lots of convenience stores close by.

Superb room with outstanding sunset view of GuanYin Shan mountain. Flat 10min (easy walk for wheely bags) to train connection to Taipei/Tamsui. Allowed to leave bags at desk on early arrival, Heritage mangrove cycle path along the river over the road. Great breakfast & friendly staff. Excellent value for money - will stay again. (Cloud Riverside Hotel is bizarrely named "Sees Revert")

nothing - way better than expected

The staffs were very friendly and helpful! Theres once i went down without my key and they got their cleaner to open for me, even thought im the one at fault but the cleaner kept apologizing to me for letting me wait(whereby the wait wasnt even long to begin with)

The dates im there clashed with their sanitizing date which results in bit of cockroach here and there however its all veryvery small kind. Theres once a middle size appeared in the bathroom which can say is reasonable since they jus sanitized their hotel its not surprising if any cockroach escaped out of the drain.. Their staff immediately came to my room to clear it off for me.. The free brkfast that came along with me stay is a little boring to my liking.. Its mainly plain porridge with some size dish and bread..

The service of all staff. They always provide the best qualify to me and my family members. Even though the room space is small, the view is perfect. Service, Location and the reasonable price are the advantages of the others.

Even though I know the land lot is limited, your staff provides the best service quality to me and my family. Due to we all park the cars outside, in such hot temperatures of Taiwan in summer, I expect to have a tent/roof for the parking space. BTW, the free breakfast is appreciated, however, if there is more various food such as the Danshi local popular desert, then it will be great.

I had a room on the 11th floor overlooking the mangrove ecological area. The view was spectacular and the bathroom was as big as some hotel rooms in Taipei. Two tips: the hotel is also called See's Revert. The location doesn't look super on a map, but bus connections are excellent. I never waited even 5 minutes, to or from the hotel into the old town and Tamsui MRT station.

Breakfast was adequate.
