Pretty much everything, the staff were very friendly it's a small family/tight knit staff unit with limited English but all was perfectly fine. The bed was hard but I liked it the room was clean and spacious. Nice view from the balcony. Breakfast was hit and miss but it's down to personal preference it was of a good quality. Absolute highlight is the hot springs so nice to relax after long days of touring round the area. They are open til quite late and you can also stay til late afternoon on the day of check out.

Just the location however I feel bad saying as it is where it is and clearly shown on the booking before booking.

This place has a historical feel, it is as if you are still in the 70s, and we loved it. Room is spacious, the balcony has a view of the nature, hot springs are included with the room price. It's just enough remote to be quiet and a good place to rest. just 10 min walk to the bus station. Staff are extra caring and helpfull, we felt really welcomed there.

breakfast could be better. I wouldn't recommend it for perfectionists, it has old furniture and facilities, but that was one of the things we loved about it :)

Very good value for money. We used the hot spring, which was included in the price, which we got to ourselves as we were the only guests staying that night. There was a bathtub in the room also with hot spring water. Everything was clean and the staff very friendly. The room and hotsprings are a little old and could do with some renovation, but if you're not fussy like us, then we 100% recommend staying here.

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and tidy the room and facilities were - the decor was a bit dated but I don’t mind so long as everything is clean :) our kids (6&8 years) loved the hot springs . plenty of space at the pools so kids can play while grown ups relax. they have fresh coffee at breakfast ;)

breakfast is very traditional Taiwanese - so foreigners (myself) may not enjoy it as much. my husband who is Taiwanese loved the breakfast . our beds were very hard but the hotel provides extra blankets we used to make a softer mattress

Love the hot springs and the staff were nice. It's a really cool place. And they are pet friendly.

Really just the hard bed. But already knew to expect that going in.

The room number written on the envelope wasn't same as the key given. During check in the staff told me my room number was the 1 written on envelope. Luckily I press doorbell before open the room, & was very shock tat someone in the room. When I call to check, staff wasn't very helpful yet expect me to find me own room. Make me walk up & down 3 times then realise they give me wrong info.

An outdated place feels like a sommer-camp. Big room with balcony.

Needs overall a renovation it's very outdated and not very clean mold in the bathroom,beds are hard no warm water cooker no refrigerator. Lots of noise from other people to hear in the evening, rooms are not sound proof. The breakfast area was dirty old equipment, tables not cleaned after the customer did go for the next customers. Definitely not western standard. Spa for the Man on the 2nd evening ,sauna and steam bath not warmed. Spa also outdated and not clean.
