We have been to Dar-Es-Salaam many times, staying at many hotels, including some of the others in your hotel chain. This one pleased us. The welcome from Michael and Gertrude at reception was friendly, and they seemed to enjoy their jobs. A smile doesn't cost much, and it was lovely to see most of the staff who seemed to genuinely enjoy engaging with us. The room was clean, modern, and spacious. We stayed for a week, so this was important to us. Housekeeping did an excellent job with our rooms. Ample amenities were replenished daily in the room. It was nice to wind down with a cup of tea or start morning with some local coffee. Breakfast was lovely and ample. We enjoyed our freshly prepared omelets every morning. The choice was vast and very good. Frank made some wonderful coffees and cappuccinos each morning. Witness took very good care of us at breakfast, but then everyone did. I'm sorry I didn't get everyone's names. The early evening treats were lovely. It was a nice way to have some local treats. I think the hotel needs to offer guests some local products like coffees. Ask if they would like to try it. Tanzania has very good flavorful coffees and teas. Please promote them. The last night, we also had our mother stay, and her room had wonderful views of the ocean. There is a pool, gym, and spa services. We didn't use any, so I can't comment on them. A big thank you to Frank, Witness, Salem, Victor, Michael, Gertrude, and the young lady at the egg station at breakfast (sorry, I can't recall her name). We will be back.

There was a child playing with the straws every morning at breakfast at the coffee bar. For hygiene purposes, maybe keep them out of reach. We had a light dinner our first night. The pizza crust was not freshly made. It came out of a box, or at least it tasted like it did.

WE LIKED THE STAFF AT THE RESTAURANT, SECURITY, BELLBOY AND HOUSEKEEPING, ROOM SERVICE. WIFI WAS GOOD. BREAKFAST CAN BE BETTER IN CHOICES, EVERYDAY SAME MENU. THE PORTIONS FOR THE DINNER IS VERY GOOD, SOMETIMES EVEN MORE. I USED THE SPA SERVICE, IT WAS GOOD. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.

BREAKFAST MENU WAS SAME EVERYDAY LIKE SOPU OF THE DAY FOR DINNER! FRONT DESK SOMETIMES WAS NOT CLEAR TO COMMUNICATE BUT GENERALLY RECEIVED RESPONSES.

Good location. Decent staff. Easy and quick check in/ out. The reception /lounge is pretty with an African touch. A big clean room with all amneties needed like hair dryer ,iron and table for ironing and a kitchenette with all needed items if you want to cook something. Close to the Slip way area where there are restaurants/cafes with a seating area infront of the beach. Walking distance to a good restaurant called the Fishmonger. A 15 minutes walk to a supermarket called the Village Supermarket. I enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely recommend it to people and go there again. Thank you Element !

Note that the hot platters and egg station of the breakfast are outside in dining area. Because no one told me and I had eaten from the bouffet in the dining room not knowing that there was extra food outside. No one was in the gym to help with how to operate the tv screen on the treadmill. The bed mattress is not as firm as I amm used to. But this is something very personal. Just thought of mentioning it incase it matters to anyone. The street in which the hotel is located is not very well lit even though there is solar energy panels on the lamp posts but they were not working so it was a bit dark. In all cases we did not stay out after 10 o'clock because of the dark street.

Good food, excellent staff, excellent facilities, awesome location, .....It is no wonder it is my second time in 2 years to stay there. And I will always return as long as all the standards are maintained or surpassed.

Furniture could use a little updating in the rooms. .but not because they are very old according to standards but because I think for such excellent facilities then excellent or wow furniture is needed...

Staff were awesome, especially Victor the Restaurant Manager. Room was spacious and comfy, with separate lounge and kitchenette. Bathroom gorgeous and shower huge with amazing water pressure. Breakfast buffet was top notch.

Bed was creaky and slightly uncomfortable, but acceptable. Upstairs resident was a bit noisy, but that's not the hotels fault, I just wanted to throw it in there.

This location is perfect for walking to restaurants and beachfront. We stayed as a family and we loved the warm pool, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. The staff leaves you to enjoy the breakfast buffet and you can even pack food to go and no one questions you. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. As a family we would give the highest reviews for the price it’s a deal. Asante to the staff for making us feel at home and letting us enjoy without anyone bothering us.

The bed is super comfortable, insect management was well done, there's no need for a mosquito net. Restaurant items (besides the morning buffet) were absolutely delicious. Room cleaning was done properly and timely. The room structure is spacious, and the aesthetics look very fancy, Kitchenette is well equipped with pots and if you are staying for longer periods of time. (but it was missing some utensils)

TVs were old and small. You can't cast anything, no applications or Netflix. You would need to connect an HDMI to view what you want to watch. The room looks fancy but is also worn down. Lots of scratches are present everywhere, tables are wobbly. The bathroom faucet is square-shaped and was lodged against the wall so that prevented me from adjusting the temperature of the water. One shelf was broken in the bedroom. The pool is small; the "pool view" room shows the pool but also shows garbage bins and muddy areas right outside the hotel.

The facilities were top-notch, offering everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is superb, and the staff were truly wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist.

I couldn't organise a transfer with the hotel to the railway station to catch the new train to Dodoma to be put on the hotel account, but they did organise a taxi for me to take.

The Hotel was very nice, clean, comfy bed and pillow. Breakfast was good. The location is a walking distance to slipway shopping complex and beach. Highly recommended.

They made us pay something called tourism levy! which wasn't mentioned on the booking. It's nothing less that 2$ but still wasn't mentioned when we paid all the fees via booking.com

Great location with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. Staff are super nice and attentive. The on-site restaurant is good and offers a nice daily breakfast as well as an evening happy hour with free drinks and snacks.

The breakfast is good quality but the offerings are the same every day, which can get old for people with longer than 2 day stays. Rotating a few of the items on the hot bar could be helpful for people with longer stays.
