Beautiful stylish hotel with an unusual Chinese-Thai theme across all of the rooms. The hotel has some fabulous vintage furniture and antique decorative touches, one of the most unique stays we’ve ever had. Rooms had plenty of storage and great air conditioning, massive shower room and lots of little touches like slippers, kimono style robes. Breakfast was Asian/Western fusion buffet with a few options each day, plus a la carte eggs and coffee. Hotel was well located, easy walk to Bang Niang market and close to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel also houses a Michelin guide restaurant, though this didn’t cater for us as vegetarians so can’t comment on the food.

As others have said, there was road noise due to the location and the open air style of corridors etc. We found it confusing that the ‘superior king rooms’ are actually smaller and less well equipped than the deluxe double rooms. The superior king rooms have no windows/balcony and no natural light at all. Some of the towels and bedding had rips in, not affecting use but detracted from the refined style.

Very good Architecture and interior design. The hotel manager, Cake, she leads her team very well. They are very nice and helpful. We did enjoyed the stay there very much.

Outstanding design, pleasant smells, nice swimming pool, good location, private parking space, super pleasant room, enjoyable coffee. We liked it better than beach ressort hotel we stayed before. Definitely must try

Overall hotel was amazing and we will come back for sure, just our personal recommendation if that could help! Room was a little bit dusty including bath top, pillow quite high vs personal preference, unfortunately the kitchen was closed during our stay and we didn’t get notified before arrival so we found out at checkin, mattress was sunk in the middle making kind of U shape feeling in sleeping position.

Very comfortable room, good facilities and really nice staff and owners. The hotel design is very unique and showcases a unique blend of Peranakan culture with modern design. The beds are king sized and the rooms nicely decorated to give you a homey feel. The bathrobes are custom made with batik decorations. Really enjoyed all the intricate details of the hotel and the room. For breakfast the owner introduced us to some of her grandfathers famous recipes and explained the history of how the hotel came to fruition. Lots of local dishes offered in a buffet and al a carte menu. Great coffee too from the bar! The pool is right next to the restaurant and is a beautiful spot to relax!

This is an absolutely stunning hotel with very modern and beautifully decorated facilities! I loved the big bathtub in the room and have even been inspired to do some home renovation after seeing how beautifully designed this hotel is. The staff was very nice and service minded.

As some of the other reviews have said, the hotel is located on a busy street. However, when booking a room with a bathtub in it you don’t realise as much, since the room overlooks the pool rather than then road. Personally, we felt that the breakfast could be better - the quality was lovely, however there could be more options to chose from.

There were issues - safe batteries needed changing, dodgy kettle blew out room electrics, a blocked drain in shower - but the staff dealt with all the problems quickly and with good humour.

No iron, no clothes horse to dry swimwear

We decided to stay at this hotel because we had booked full day tour trips and would not spend so much time at the hotel. We were happily surprise with our choice :-) : - Beautiful design (made us think of Bali hotels) - Best coffee we had in Thailand - Very comfortable beds - Friendly staff (day & night) - Walking distance to the local night market - Good breakfast with local dishes degustation - Great value for money

Maybe bring your ear plugs if your noice sensitive because you might hear your neighbours closing their doors

The interior is amazing, staff is amazing, cozy lounge and pool area, calm and quiet place - everything is amazing.

It would be so nice if you would consider to put small notes on the parts of the breakfast where there’s meat involved and which kind of meat. I don’t eat pork and discovered by coincidence on the last day, that one of the small breakfast sweets (a rice roll kind of thing) I had been eating all days apparently had pork in them. But honestly other than that, such an amazing place!

Beautiful interior, even better than in pictures! Super comfy big bed, lovely food at dinner. You’re on the high way but only a quick walk away from the main village and 15mins walk from the beach. The staff were all lovely, mention of honour for Cake that always made me feel well looked after 🥰

I don’t think the half board is worth it, breakfast is poor considering the hotel standards. A couple of simple cocktail/wine options and more of a snack menu would be all the place needs to reach perfection!
