Nice hotel with a lovely setting directly at the beach. The beach is quiet and calm - no noisy boats and water jets. Not much shops and restaurants in walking distance, but it’s not that important when you are here, as the resort are really good. In case you want to see something else than the resort, then there are possibilities. There are a restaurant and bar at the neighbor plot - but do your self a favor and walk 50-100 meter further to “Be friends” restaurant. We felt a better vibe and ambience there. The resort has spa treatments and there are also alternatives 5 meters away on the beach. Taxi available on the other side of the street. Don’t expect to negotiate prices - all are charging 400 baht to go to Khao Lak Center. A mini market is available at the other side of the street and approx. 50 meter away. Other places to visit: Pam’s restaurant (thai) Bang Niang market (check opening days) Ojoei restaurant (sushi) Great breakfast !

“Mandatory” hand sanitizing at the breakfast restaurant would be good. Air condition systems are loud on some rooms.

We visited in late July. The weather wasn't the best but our kids loved swimming in the surf and the hotel facilities are excellent for a family. The beach is beautiful and there are lots of local massage places within walking distance if you like more of a Thai beach feel.

Some of the beach restaurants within walking distance were not open because of the wet season. The food at the hotel was very good but we like to change it up and as such we had to use taxis to get ourselves to other foodie options. It was easy to get taxis though.

Au, Shane, Tum, Baw, Pal and every single staff of them were just amazing, super helpful and always smiling at the customers. We are a family of 5 (parents with 15y, 13y & 9y). I loved how clean is the room and good space of the resort. Pool time and beach walks were our favorites, it would have been more fun if they had a slide and a deeper pool, but it still amazing.

No bad comments, only suggestions; wish they had Halal food, private room for message (woman), electric dryer for clothes, it would be very helpful as clothes don’t get dry easily with humidity and when it does sometimes it smells bad so you must send it to the dry clean. BEWARE TO GO BACK WITH LOTS OF MOSQUITOES BITES.

We loved everything about this resort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The design of the place is stunning, and the pool is delightful, situated right next to the serene and clean beach of the hotel. The service is excellent, and the staff members are courteous and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious and diverse. The hotel's restaurant is a bit pricier compared to local options in Thailand, as are the massage services. However, there are two local restaurants near the beach, as well as massage services available at a third of the price.

This place stands up to its claim of being a luxury hotel. High quality service and comfort. The staff was the absolute best. Always smiling and greeting you and making sure you are in comfort.

Nothing except that one receptionist who wasn’t looking very happy, so I felt a bit awkward to talk to her. May be she had a bad day. I didn’t mind so much.

We had family vacation at Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort in June 2025. From the moment we arrived, everything met our expectations. We stayed in a garden room, which was beautifully maintained, peaceful, and just a short stroll from both the pool and the beach. The pool area is one of the highlights — spacious, clean. The beachfront location is stunning. The sunsets were breathtaking, and the beach was always clean and uncrowded. The resort feels like a true tropical escape. The Wi-Fi throughout the property was excellent, even in the room and by the pool! A huge thank you to the restaurant team for their outstanding service and kindness (we had a full board). Special recognition to Jam, Aom, Mew, Konee, and Ohm — they made every meal a pleasure with their warm smiles and attentiveness. The food was consistently delicious with a good variety for all tastes. Overall, this resort combines beautiful nature, comfort, excellent service. We would definitely recommend Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort to families or anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions (former Manathai) and were so happy to return and to be greeted by a few friendly familiar faces, especially Wap who never fails to make our stay a special one. So thank you once again Wap, your commitment to providing exceptional customer service is truly part of the driving force behind the hotels success. We love everything about this resort. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained and the room service superb – a special thank you to Tao who serviced our room to perfection. The hospitality is extraordinary – all the guests are made to feel welcome and valued. The location is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The beach is idyllic and uncrowded - the perfect place to relax.

The hotel describes itself as a 5 star. It’s not. It’s a good 4 star hotel. Service is good but not luxury. Not enough staff at reception or at beach! Bathroom toiletries basic. In a 5 star you would expect a high end brand with environmental values! All toiletries had to be ordered via app. We gave up! Beach towels are old and dirty! Would expect a better product. Sports equipment not enough of it! Detail to attention missing! No life guard !

Only one restaurant open for dinner (the pool bar/restaurant) and the food quality was just average. A bit disappointing.

Direct access to the beach. Good and qualitative breakfast. Very dedicated staff. Rooms are large and clean. Several restaurants within a walking distance. A small but practical convenient store just accross the street.

The location is a bit far from the town centre (around 20min by car) and the beach in that specific area may be a little bit less impressive than in other locations a few kilometers away though it it is still a great spot to stay. Our curtain, in the shower, was a bit dated the room missed a large dustbin (or we simply didn't find it).
