The small private beach is shaded by large trees and makes swimming possible all day. Especially with kids shade is essential. Having the main beach and town in walking distance with all restaurants and bars, it is the ideal spot for families and other folks looking for a quiet but beautiful corner of the island. It is more laid back in comparison to the resorts at the main beach, yet if one wants to. They’re just minutes away.

The bungalows are not the newest, but the rooms were absolutely spotless and well maintained. The AC seemed to be recently replaced and water heater and standard equipment was all in great shape. We didn’t mind it at all, but some might not like the wildlife around like ants and little lizards and co. But I would say that is part of any resort close to nature with loads of trees.

Very friendly staff, clean room, providing fresh towels daily, including for the beach. Beautiful houses with lovely terraces. Very close to the white sandy beach. Also very close to the Main Street with shops and restaurants.

One thing to consider - the beach is not the cleanest, but it has no connection to the hotel facilities.

I have stayed here 3 times now in the past couple of months. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, arranged a Moto for me to explore the island and they add little touches which make the stay special. Lighting mozzy coils on your balcony, buckets to wash the sand of your feet and asking everyday if you want your room cleaned. I have stayed elsewhere on Koh Samet and this is the best place in my opinion. It is a short walk to all the bars and restaurants/ fire shows on the beach but in a quiet location. Fantastic value for money. Koy on the front desk was especially helpful. I will be back again!

This beautiful and impeccably maintained resort is just off the main beach. It takes around 3 minutes to walk to that beach. Due to its location the resort is a haven of peace on Koh Samet, an island which tends to be rather busy and noisy. The bungalows are in excellent shape, the bed comfortable, the AC quiet, and the staff super friendly. I slept like a baby.

Great location, only 3 min from main beach. Good snorkeling just of the little beach by the hotel (only morning sun). Lots of corals, but not great visibility. If you like snorkeling, go when tide is low. Really quiet and nice view, especially if you’re in one of the cabins closer to the sea (we were in number 10, but ask for number 8 if you want the cabin closest to the sea with the nicest view. Number 1 and 2 (I think it was) are attached).

The hot water isn’t very hot.

In short, everything. The staff are all very kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location is great--peaceful and quiet, save for the obnoxious snorkel tour boats that tie up off the beach and blare extremely loud music for no reason, which is no fault of the property.

I was pleasantly surprised about this property. It is very well located, at just one minute walk from the beach, and a ten minute walk to the village's commercial area; so ideal if you are on foot. The cabins where you stay at very comfortable and private. They do have a verandah as well where you can sit and relax. They also have a private beach as well which is better for snorkelling if water conditions allow for it. You can rent the gear for the day at reception.

Wi-Fi wasn't the greatest inside my cabin, yet no problems if I stepped outside and sat at the verandah. I guess this may differ from cabin to cabin. So, if it matters to you, maybe ask at reception when checking in or when booking.

Very pleasant stay. The bungalows are clean and the AC works exceptionally well. Staff are pleasant and very service minded. The beach is ideal for snorkeling and they rent gear so you can skip the day tours and simply jump in the water to see (what still remains of) the coral reef here. Beware though, WEAR BATHING SHOES (which they borrow out for free) or you might cut your feet and hands on razor sharp corals. Walking distance from Sae Kaew beach which is an absolute pearl of a beach. Clean, clear, calm, lively, spacious, has cute bars and restaurants. No doubt I would choose this place if I came back to Koh Samed, over the expensive flashy resorts next door. Of course that’s a matter of priorities, but at a place like this you get all the natural wonder, peace, central location and cozyness you can dream of for a fraction of the cost, and the only thing you don’t get is a pool and a gym.

Brilliant stay. The Bungalows are modern and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail to enhance each guest's stay is amazing. As a family we really enjoyed relaxing on the good size terasse at the bungalow with cold beers bought from reception. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The location is a 5 minute walk to the village and the main beach. We will be back!

A really beautifully kept bungalow resort in gardens and with a quiet private beach area. A really quick walk to the busy but stunning beach and so many bars and restaurants. Close to ferry port, just 15 minutes walk, and all the shops in the main village of Samet. Such a lovely island, it's special in that the beaches are exceptionally beautiful and the sea clear and warm. Easy access around the island by walking or scooter.
