My view from room was very nice. The staff were polite, professional and very helpful with information about Ko Samed island. It was close enough to town and far enough away to be peaceful. I hired a motorbike from Pandora. Thankyou Pandora..

10/10 - I booked 2 nights - 2 bedrooms penthouse. Originally for myself and pattern and her son and mother. The day before I arrived I asked for 2 extra guests to make our group 6 people. I asked for us to use the sofa bed in the penthouse and VERY quickly had a polite reply; to say thank you for the advance notification, and for the comfort of your group we would like to offer you a FREE UPGRADE to a 3 bedroom penthouse! This was Excellent Customer service - you not often see in Thailand! I already had a good feeling about this resort from this. Upon arrival we were treated courteously, welcome drinks and smiles! This is too often missed these days in Thailand - YET the staff at this resort have the concept well tuned. It felt like home right away. The bills are all possible to be made to the room number which really helps when you have a large group! I don’t want to use my card every 5 minutes and the resort accommodate this without fault! Also my bills were always correct… again this a is a nice FRESH feeling in Thailand where too often the bill is wrong. This is not the case at Pandora. Motorcycle hire was easy (paid in cash - this is the only time I required cash for any of the hotel services. 300baht - very reasonable- decent motorcycle- taxi is 200 baht each way more or less, so for the resort to hire to guests for 300 baht is a no brainier. It made life Super easy. The bar and bar staff are all so LOVELY! Music all day but not too loud and very eclectic. If you like to move away from the music a little there is always the 2nd pool furnished with perfectly acceptable DOUBLE sun loungers. Granted the main pool is more pleasing to the eye both are perfectly good. I can imagine the resort in high season being an enjoyable environment from 8am to 8pm. The food. Well this is without question the BEST English breakfast in Thailand from my experience - 5 months of 6 months - January until July.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Leo who immediately made us feel at ease and got us to our room promptly even though we arrived before check-in time. The staff carried all our luggage (We had a lot of luggage) to our room. Pandora was a nice change of pace from the beach life we were accustomed to for our first 3 weeks on the Island, we booked a penthouse room, which was amazing. Our kids had so much room to run and crawl around after a quick baby-proofing job. We spent quite a lot of time in the room for naps and escaping the heat during the day, so we got our money's worth. The best part of the whole stay was the staff. Zane was an absolute legend, he made our entire stay so incredible. Not only was he always available for a chat, but he also entertained our 4-year-old A LOT. The way Zane manages Pandora directly reflects through all the staff, from the smiles to the welcoming feeling, we were so pleased that we stayed an extra week and rarely left the resort. Although there isn't much in terms of activities around the resort we enjoyed hanging out and chatting with the staff. Our babies (twins) explored, while our 4-year-old challenged Zane and other staff members to countless games. The staff were more than helpful with providing any service we needed whether it was where to do laundry, calling us taxis, food suggestions in the area, and daily cleaning). Zane was very thoughtful. While there we observed him dealing with a few challenging situations and it made us think anyone would be lucky to have such a nice person if they met with any challenging circumstances. My son continued to talk about his time with Zane and even shouted goodbye to him from the ferry as we were heading off the Island when we saw Pandora in the distance. We enjoyed everything, however, there was one thing that was lacking and it was the menu depth. Being that Pandora is quite a distance from most things, having a few more options on the menu would give more of an incentive to eat at the resort.

Great hotel and staff so nice and helpful..if you like a full English breakfast pick this place ..only problem some might find it's quite far from the main beach and The main road but you can get a mini van up and down ..not to expensive..luckily I had a scooter which I think is essential..staff amazing..Great little pool..room was perfect apart from my bed was right by the window on the main balcony to all the rooms which meant when all the early risers went out they usually woke you up..if they never then th f you lizard will keep you awake..but hey nature at its best .I loved the place with all its little faults ..give it a go you won't be disappointed..sorry last thing the Internet in my room was rubbish but hey ho down stairs made up for it

Nice resort, really clean. They clean the studio well every time you ask for it, (they also provide with water). Staff is super nice, the manager and I think the other is his assistant they both English so it’s easy to comunicate. I tried the restaurant only for breakfast and for a quick dinner, omelet, good. Studio was spacious, bed comfortable. I also like the position because true is not in the town center but I think it’s a plus so you don’t hear scooters and cars, and you can reach the town in 5 minutes by scooter. Easy. Price is super good. I told to the manger, just add a gym and it’s super!

Bad wifi connection

It's towards the end of the development on that part of the island. Behind the resort is jungle and about about 100 m away is the beach. So you don't hear the waves but you can easily walk to the beach. The rooms in our suite did not have a window towards the ocean, but the main room faced it. The two swimming pools were lovely.

The bathroom door of our suite would not close. That wasn't a major issue, and as we were leaving they said they would fix it for the next guest. Also, the main room has furniture designed so that people can sit in it while wearing wet bathing suits. So don't expect big city luxury.

Big spacious rooms with good sized bedroom and bathroom. Our room got upgraded on arrival so we ended up staying in a one bedroom suite. Both pools were clean and large. We only used the smaller pool. Sunbeds were comfy but not enough of them I would say for how many rooms are in the grounds. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond and made our stay very easy. We rented scooter with them but took a day to be able to as they don’t have many and also we booked the 6 island trip through them. Food was good quality.

Only bad point was the bathroom as no shower cubicle so bathroom gets went and the water doesn’t drain very well.

We booked the 2 bed penthouse apartment. Clean, comfortable & good value. Staff were all really friendly and the pool area was great for relaxing with a cocktail. Facilities were plentiful & the rooftop terrace was nice for a drink in the evening.

Not don’t like but definitely recommend hiring a motorbike if you want to get to the beaches & busier parts of the island. Everything is only 5-10 mins drive away but would be a long walk in the heat.

All fantastic,location was nice and quiet but koh samet is small so is easy to get around,staff was fantastic,went out of way to help and give information and was all very friendly.

Everything was wonderfully,if your a moany European who looks to find fault in something you will probably find something to moan about,but if your chilled and have any issue which i didnt find find in 5 nights there, the staff will help you in anyway they can

Beautiful place nice swimming pools helpful friendly manager and staff. Very quiet.

Bit remote and a bit of a hill to get into the property.
