We booked a twin room in Booking.com but at arrival they said no twin room availble for us. They are not in synch with the booking system.

Breakfast was delicious, the beach was amazing for kids and families, the pool was lovely. Overall a great experience for a family traveling with a 3 and 4 year old child. :)

The only thing to note is that there aren't many restaurants or shops on this side of the island (but the ones that are there were lovely), so we went into town for the 711 and local Thai stalls. It was easy to get a taxi though (200 THB per way) and still worth staying here!

Me and my family (husband and 8 months baby) had an AMAZING time at Le Vimarn. We felt so taken care of - the service and the familiar approach was outstanding. I think this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at - and even though the facilities, the surroundings and room was awesome, it was the people who made it <3

Beautiful hotel in a quiet and upmarket part of Koh Samed. Lovely clean beach with clear water Fresh Thai fruit and rose petals on the bed for us on arrival was a lovely touch . We had a hillside cottage but had a great ocean view . Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a massive shower ! The breeze resteraunt had great Thai food and a great fire show . Breakfast was good

Everything, nice seaview room, very nice beach, very nice staff, we were lucky because hotel was almost empty because of the oil spillage at Rayong beach, but nothing reached our beach

When you book directly with the hotel you get the speed boat transfer included, unfortunately I booked through booking.com and I was charged the boat transfer extra (approx 700THB for 2 pax)

Especially liked the location of our villa. Gardens tranquil. Staff all very attentive.

High level of taxis running thru the estate. Think all passengers for the resorts should be dropped by La Vimarn lobby. Not sure dedicating the O restaurant to Italian only cuisine works - seemed quite during our stay.

Quiet location. The ferry port and the main street are on the other side of the island. There are no loud bars or anything like that nearby. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Good services. The accommodation was nice and clean. The pool area is ok. Nice sea view. The beach was right next to the hotel. Hotel guests receive a free sun lounger and towel on the beach.

The nearest shop is located about 2,5 kilometers away. Although, if you rent a scooter, then the distance is no problem at all. The beautiful bay is spoiled a bit by a long pontoon pier.

Beautifully well maintained garden of the property! Spacious bungalows and great Location of the hotel overlooking a quiet beach with a view of the sunset. Good breakfast buffet on the Asian side (rice/stir fries), with a chef present to cook eggs. I didn’t test the continental style.

No communication after booking about a possibility to take a boat to the hotel directly from the mainland. One of the managers stressed us for the boat out. They called us every two minutes on the personal phone and room phone from 20 minutes before departure to see where we were and to hurry up to the reception. They simply should have just told us in advance to be seated at the reception 15mins before departure time and that the boat was going to leave 10 minutes before the planned time.

Warm welcome at the Hotel with a short introduction to the island, restaurants and the whole ressort. Great service and very friendly and attentive staff. Spent a wonderful and very relaxed week with spa treatments, drinks by the pool and walks on the beach. Will be back!
