I've been going to Tub Tim beach for 20 years and often stay at this resort. They've rennovated all their rooms to include a/c and tv's, and they're cute huts, 20-30 meters to the ocean.

The front desk staff are not very helpful and just seemed annoyed and put out--and sometimes rude--with any questions

The location of the bungalow in the garden and in front of the sea is very nice. It’s very calm, I slept very well.

The breakfast needs to be improved. Only Thai food, the continental option is very poor

We live TubTim. The end of the beach location makes it calm and relaxing. You got everything you need in one place, and for us that’s exactly what we want. Breakfast is good, well filled and good service. Beds are extremely hard and the first couple of nights we all found it hard to sleep but it is what it is I guess. Restaurant could use a bit of communication when it comes to a table all eating somewhat at the same time. We would definitely eaten in house more if we knew we’d eat at the same time. Lunch was ok though. What really make the place though is the STAFF. Wow what a bunch of lovely people. We loved them last year and even more this year! Super helpful nice and welcoming. We had a lovely holiday in TubTim and we will definitely be back in the future. Happy SongKran and wishes of luck in the new year from us in the Appelberg Powell family!

Beautiful location. Restaurant has really improved and the quality of food and price was excellent. We have been many times and will return again!

I think best located resort on Ko Samet. Nice and small beach, not so much people, but just 5 minutes by scooter (20 minutes by foot) from the largest beach and nightlife. Really nice stuff, good meal, very good breakfast and possibly to pay by card

The ambiance, seeing the sea from my cabin, being seconds from the beach, the swimming platform in the sea, the restaurant food, the quietness and tranquility of the location…

No gentle mood lighting in the room, not even a single lamp…

I can't fault this place and especially the staff. I made an error with the dates of my booking. They were able to fix it. Beautiful quiet beach. Paddled with pool type goggles on only 50m off beach and saw fish, giant clams and coral. Our cabin was like being in a rain forest. Bed good, all food great including breakfast. I'm getting married in October and I'm going to bring a bunch of my friends from Australia here after the wedding.

If you don't like the sounds of the Forrest...then don't come...I loved it...

Beautiful beach, great location (not too close and not too far from the main beach and street). Very sympathetic and relaxed hotel. Like going to a favourite summer cottage or such; not perfect but just lovely. Friendly staff. Good restaurant at the beach.

The cottages are old and very basic. Low water pressure in the shower. Mosquitoes. The beds are hard. Not enough tables at the breakfast place. Not enough beach chairs; the front (only) row gets reserved at sunset.

We stayed in a Junior Suite which had a beachfront view and was steps from the ocean. Plenty of space and cabin was cleaned every day if you wanted. Free water and beach towels. Sunbeds with umbrellas and seat pads were very comfy. Massage on the beach was excellent and cheap. Small coffee hut for hot/cold drinks. Staff were friendly and most spoke good English. Restaurant had good selection of Thai and western food. Breakfast was ok, multicultural selection. Local taxi always available on property.

Nothing, it was perfect for a relaxing beach holiday.
