I've been going to Tub Tim beach for 20 years and often stay at this resort. They've rennovated all their rooms to include a/c and tv's, and they're cute huts, 20-30 meters to the ocean.

The front desk staff are not very helpful and just seemed annoyed and put out--and sometimes rude--with any questions

It has been my 5th or 6th stay in Tubtim, my first time has been in 2012. And it still is, to me, one of the best places to stay in koh samet. - not too far from main village with 7shops (but needs to have booked a scooter anyway) - good restaurant at the hotel (although you also may try other places around) - good buffet breakfast including many choices, international spirit - very nice and clean beach - all personnel is very professional, most of them also being very welcoming and helping

- mosquitoes attack every day by 6pm (come with repulsive cream or spray ! 😉)

It's easy to get to the resort via baht bus from ferry terminal, 50b per person. Like most resorts on Samed it's 3 stars...just. However the location on the beach, air-conditioning and clean rooms with hardish but comfortable beds in the individual cottages gives a great break away from conformist modern resorts! If your looking for an island stay without constant noise or hassles this place pays out! We veged out for 4 days and absolutely loved it. By the way the sea and sand is actually clean and refreshing, we couldn't get stop just floating about all day.

No pool....he'll that's not a dislike! We didn't need a pool the sea was perfect.

We live TubTim. The end of the beach location makes it calm and relaxing. You got everything you need in one place, and for us that’s exactly what we want. Breakfast is good, well filled and good service. Beds are extremely hard and the first couple of nights we all found it hard to sleep but it is what it is I guess. Restaurant could use a bit of communication when it comes to a table all eating somewhat at the same time. We would definitely eaten in house more if we knew we’d eat at the same time. Lunch was ok though. What really make the place though is the STAFF. Wow what a bunch of lovely people. We loved them last year and even more this year! Super helpful nice and welcoming. We had a lovely holiday in TubTim and we will definitely be back in the future. Happy SongKran and wishes of luck in the new year from us in the Appelberg Powell family!

The location of the bungalow in the garden and in front of the sea is very nice. It’s very calm, I slept very well.

The breakfast needs to be improved. Only Thai food, the continental option is very poor

Beautiful location. Restaurant has really improved and the quality of food and price was excellent. We have been many times and will return again!

I think best located resort on Ko Samet. Nice and small beach, not so much people, but just 5 minutes by scooter (20 minutes by foot) from the largest beach and nightlife. Really nice stuff, good meal, very good breakfast and possibly to pay by card

The ambiance, seeing the sea from my cabin, being seconds from the beach, the swimming platform in the sea, the restaurant food, the quietness and tranquility of the location…

No gentle mood lighting in the room, not even a single lamp…

Amazing location at the far end of the beach which means it’s peaceful and quiet. Amazing beach for the kids to play on and top facilities right on the beach (bar, restaurant, etc.). Loved the breakfast, and we ate every evening meal at the Tubtim restaurant- amazing value for money and delicious Thai cuisine. Special mention for Tam whose care and attention made us feel super welcome. If we can, we’ll come back for sure.
