This is a great hotel—the one that wows you. The room was beautifully decorated, and it had a bathtub overlooking the garden and a terrace with a direct sea view. You could fall asleep listening to the waves, and it made for a dreamy experience. It is spacious and has everything you might need, even a bath bomb. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable. I can highly recommend this place, and will definitely visit it again.

When I was checking out one of the employees knocked on my door at 11:55 and told me I had exactly 5 minutes left or they will take my things out of the room. That was unexpected.

We loved our time at Samed Tamarind Beach Resort so very much - we had a villa with a sea view and it was just marvellous and peaceful. The villas are beautifully designed - with an especially luxurious bathroom! It was relaxing and heavenly. The staff were excellent, and always warm and they helped us with everything like taxis to the pier etc. The food was very good as well. Good breakfast! Samed Tamarind is tucked away in a quiet beautiful beach cove on the island - away from the hustle and bustle from the more popular beaches and shopping areas (all of which are easily accessible, however, should you want to explore, by walking or taxi). The hotel is also very well-equipped and prepared to repel mosquitos and insects and take great care doing so. Even if you aren’t carrying your own bug spray - they provide you with some in the room! You should carry it everywhere especially if you’re there during a wet season.

The location was fantastic, right on the beach. Beautiful vibe & calmness. The staff were all fantastic & so friendly. Rooms just wow!!! Couldn’t have picked a better spot!

The beach beds were few & non residents would have them gone before we got a chance. They might buy 1-2 drinks throughout the day to show they were “spending” money at the hotel

Everything! Second time visiting the resort with my parents over the Christmas period and it’s one of the nicest hotels I have ever been too! Excellent rooms, fantastic breakfast and stunning views if you nab a sea view room! We will continue to come back!

A paradise on earth! The rooms are breathtaking and particularly beautifully decorated, the staff is super friendly and its sandy beaches with transparent water are gorgeous. I shall return and stay longer.

On some days there were too many loud kids.

The location was amazing.. right on tub Tim beach with beautiful white sand and crystal clear warm water. We noticed many people walking from other locations to swim and relax at this beach.

More coffee pods and more selection in mini bar. We stayed in villa with sea view for 3 nights and outside sofa bed was not provided for duration of stay due to rainy day prior to our arrival 😫

The food was excellent, very nice room with beautiful bathroom.

Be careful to reach the island of Koh Samet. The ferry stops at 5 pm and you need to take a private boat which is 20 times more expensive.

Brand new boutique resort. Beautiful decorated and very clean bungalows. Wonderful sea view at the nicest beach of this island. Quiet area. Very nice and professional staff. The restaurant has a wide and very good selection of healthy food. Very delicious.

The location was perfect, with proximity to the beach while still being peaceful. The bungalow we stayed in was very spacious, with a large bathroom and a lovely veranda outside the main bedroom. The entire area was very well maintained, and everything was in excellent condition. A nice restaurant and a bar serving top-class drinks were available within the premises. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we truly felt welcome from the very beginning. They were service-minded and always did their best.

It would be nice to have a few more sun loungers.

The room is really big. Bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious and above average for Thailand with own bathtub and a separate rain shower, big mirror. Free netflix. The beach is very beautiful and you can relax on nice chairs under palmtrees all day long.

The staff was not very attentive. I usually had to asked several times for orders I made in the restaurant because they kept to forget (every day). I also recommend to come here during weekdays. From Friday on the island transforms into a party island and you will here loud music from the neighbouring beach.
