Very well 3 star hotel with 5 star landscaping. Just incredible! Beach is nice and clean. Lots to do around. Rooms are very well maintained but no sound insulation. Restaurant and breakfast are both better than you expect for 3 star hotel.

Very loud night club next door. Not hotel fault. In fact: they are going to court for it, to make them stop earlier. So be prepared for loud music till 12.00 (midnight) every day.

We had a lovely time at Samed Villa. This quaint beachfront resort was really enjoyable. The ocean was spectacular, service was attentive, and we were very comfortable. The family room was two adjoining bedrooms with two bathrooms, close to reception and the rest of our party was at a different room. I would definitely return to enjoy a beach getaway. Breakfast was ample with good options, service was very attentive. the hotel also offers kayak and standup rentals, as well as snorkeling and boat tours for a reasonable fee (500-600 per person). Its on a busy corner with two more resorts adjacent, lots of restaurants and at night fire dancers, nightclubs and bars are walking distance. All types of guests: solo travelers, families, couples, groups. It seems to meet multiple criteria and I was very pleased with our stay and selection. Even on a rainy morning we enjoyed ourselves. Adjacent to Silver Sands and Samed Pavillion with a convenience store and street vendors, it’s easy to just stay out if you want but you can also go and explore the island. highly recommend!

I preferred the much more affordable ferry to the speedboat that the hotel offers. It was 1,500 for a party of 5 on a speedboat set up by the hotel (that drove too fast and was choppy), versus 300 baht do all on a ferry that took 15-20 mins instead of 10.

Clean and well maintained resort. Very nice and courteous staff. Good restaurant as well. Very good breakfast (mix of western and thai cuisine, with a tendency for western food). Beach was very clean - no garbage on the beach at all. Nice green garden!

Beach is a bit stony at some spots, just bring some swimming shoes or socks. The internet connection in the rooms is rather slow and can be unreliable in peak hours, although the WiFi signal is strong. It seems like the resort is being connected through a single 5G connection. Could be much better with a rather low investment (redundant uplinks and some load balancing). Inside some rooms the cell phone reception with dtac was rather weak (3G), but was good on the outside (5G).

Located on the beach, delicious breakfast, fresh smoothies. Either you’re planning on resting, or doing an active holiday, this could be the perfect place for you. Definitely would recommend, especially for couples!

We stayed in the deluxe sea view room, which was really spacious and comfy with good AC. The bed was huge and very comfortable. A smart TV in the room. The room was really clean and daily housekeeping was great. There is a beach as part of the hotel and no problems finding a sunbed. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Good location easy to walk to other areas is the island.

The food in the restaurant was good but a bit more expensive and a bit less authentic than it could be, however there was loads of choice. On some of the days there was a slight drain smell in the bathroom, but not in the bedroom.

The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant has a great menu for drinks and food and good value for money too. The rooms set in a jungle-like surrounding with pathways that lit up at night made it a very calm and relaxing experience. The buffet breakfast has a large selection suitable for tourists from all over the world. The beach was nice and clean and only a 2 minute walk from the room.

Although this is no fault of the resort there are no longer any ATM machines on the island. Would have been nice to have been pre-warned about this but the receptionist did offer cash from credit card for a small fee. I was able to send money to my Thai girlfriends bank account and she use her QR scan to pay for everything. Others may not have this option so be prepared to pay a small credit card fee for cash or take plenty with you, rest assured, the safe deposit boxes in rooms are very secure.

I recently visited Samed Villa Resort, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning views and the pristine beauty of the beach, The soft, powdery sand felt like a dream under my feet, and the clear, turquoise waters were inviting and refreshing. One of the highlights of my visit was the cleanliness of the resort. It was evident that great care was taken to maintain the area, with no litter in sight. This made for a more enjoyable experience, allowing me to fully relax. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with friendly locals and fellow beachgoers who created a relaxed vibe. I enjoyed lounging on the beach, listening to the gentle waves, and taking in the picturesque surroundings. The beach is also conveniently located near several bars, and restaurants, where I enjoyed delicious meals with a view. Watching the sunset while sipping my favorite Leo beer was the perfect way to end each day. I highly recommend trying the massage services offered in the resort they are absolutely 100/100! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling relaxed and refreshed. Overall, my experience was nothing short of spectacular. It truly exceeded my expectations, and I left with unforgettable memories. I highly recommend "KOH SAMED VILLA" to anyone looking for an enjoyable getaway. I can’t wait to return!

This is a truly magical place that was a dream holiday for my family and me. It is predominantly Thai families here which is a huge bonus as no loud, drunken Brits! The staff and other guests are so kind and welcoming, especially to children. Everyday we would walk past the lady masseuses and they would wave and smile at us and the children (if you’re interested, Judy is the matriarch and is by far the most skilled and best masseuse of them all, but they’re all fantastic!) The food on the villa side is good but a short walk away on the next beach on has a bar that has an amazing selection of drinks and food (for kids and adults) that is exceptional. The ice cream is the best I’ve had anywhere, including Italian gelatarias. The beach is pristine with great rock pools for exploring and beautifully clear and safe water to swim in. This is a little gem that we will be returning to one day - so please don’t spoil it if you’re a scalley, uncultured Brit looking for cheap booze and a burnt bikini line.

There is a short section that you have to drag your laughed over the beach to access the complex which isn’t easy with large suitcases and children. However, we probably could have left the luggage and asked for a porter to collect them once we reached reception, but we didn’t realise this was an option. This was not a big issue though, but it could be for people with mobility issues.

The hotel is on the beach and access to the sea is easy. The checkin was very smooth and our room was well equipped and I loved the terrace because we could see the sea. The breakfast was a lovely buffet with an egg station serving freshly cooked eggs and there was plenty of coffee . The restaurant and bar were very reasonable in price as well as good quality. We ate there several times. The staff were always helpful for example providing an extra key for the room for the electricity because of my husbands medication. You could easily rent scooters and get taxis from outside the hotel and there is a shop too You can also easily access the next beach where there are more bars and restaurants

It is a shame you have to walk through the Silversands hotel to reach The Samed Villa and the music that hotel play in the evening is somewhat loud

The family room is comfortable, it has all needed utilities. The "resort" (don't mix it with the big all inclusives you know from the Caribbean) sprawls up the hill but this room in the C area in particular is very well located right behind the breakfast restaurant. Beach chairs available. Nice shaded hill with a coast footpath that goes to the next bay with a stupendous beach. Price/quality is good, but that depends on what you make of the buffet breakfast.

They start retiring the beach chairs before 18:00, the beach in front of the hotel is not for swimming (you walk to the next one some 50 meters away). Restaurant has tourist prices (Pad Thai 180 Thb?). The D series of "economic" rooms is up the hill quite far away from the beach front. The path to the songthaew taxi is not 100% paved, there's a section of sand, not practical to bring your bags. AC only in the small(ish) reception or your room (no shared common space to spend the afternoon).
