We stayed just one night at ASAI Chinatown. The absolute highlight was the incredibly comfortable bed, linen, and pillows—better than any we experienced in the other 4* and 5* hotels and resorts during our travels around Thailand. Honestly, ASAI’s bed trumps them all by a mile. The room was spotlessly clean and we really appreciated the minimalist, modern design, which gave it a calming, uncluttered feel. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise—fresh, tasty, and well-presented. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk to the metro, a 7/11 and small shopping center in the building’s basement, and of course, Chinatown’s vibrant main street just around the corner. The only odd thing was the absence of tea or coffee in the room—despite having a kettle—and no room service available. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. That said, we would absolutely recommend ASAI Chinatown and would gladly return. Great value, comfort, and location in one package.

We got there around noon but they let us check in as the room was ready Lots of nice Chinese restaurants nearby and Talat Noi and Soi Nana are within walking distance Blue line station is 2-min walk and good for sightseeing There were only 3 lifts but never had to wait too long Free water bottles There are showers behind the reception and we could use it before we headed for the airport in the evening

AC got too strong for me sometimes but we could turn it off Sound insulation was not good as others mentioned but it didn’t bother us much No washing machines and tumbler dryers for guests

Loved that it's in the heart of Chinatown so you walk out and have lots of options for food and shopping. In general the location is central to a lot of the sites and shopping areas. Very close to the blue metro line. Rooms were very updated and clean. TV works with casting so I was able to use YouTube, Netflix, etc. showers heated up well and had good water pressure.

Walls were a little thin so we could hear neighbors. Room doors don't shut on their own always so you need to pull to check. We had a maid actually pop in once to tell us our door was open when we didn't realize.

This is my first time staying at Chinatown area, and ASAI is definitely the best choice I've made for this trip. It's so close to the main street at Chinatown, plus point is that there's a small shopping mall down the hotel, very convenient for dining, shopping and even for a Thai massage at the very popular "Let's Relax Spa". The room is very spacious and comfortable with all the basic amenities equipped. And, the breakfast is simple and but yet sufficient enough with quite a selection of Asian and Western style meals.

Soundproof is little bit bad. You can hear the noise from next door if it's loud.

Practical seems to be the best word to describe the ASAI Chinatown. Has everything, near everything, and you can stay comfortable some days. Just in the meedle of Chinatown, 50 mt from Metro station, in a 4th floor of a building, great personnel, great breakfast, clean, Markets and supers near. Young personnel, really kind.

Rooms are small . . .you see it, but in few minutes it does not matter, because is really functional, how is the configuration. Is optimal, approaches every inch of rooms. One day mu room did not was completely cleaned, but just one of 4 days.

I love the overall ambience of the hotel. It's pretty relaxed despite the busy outside environment. On top of my list was the location. It's in a convenient area inside a mall. It was easy for me and my friend to find food and activities around the area. Transportation was easily accessible too. It's a walking distance to a train station and there were other forms of public transport passing by the establishment as well. Aside from the convenient location, I love how clean our room was, how polite the staff were, and how easy the check-in and check-out processes were during our stay. We stayed for a total of 4 nights and we felt the hospitality and comfort in this hotel.

Not that I didn't like this but more of a suggestion. I would suggest that the guests may have the option to borrow indoor slippers. We didn't see slippers or slides in our room so we had to buy our own cause we didn't bring any. Maybe it was written somewhere that the establishment doesn't provide slippers and we just missed that information. Another thing was the lid of the water bottles. They're like a foil lid so if guests can't finish the bottle in one go, there's no way to cover it back. While I liked the aesthetic the bottles add to the room ambience, I wish there were reusable lids for them. That's all. Nothing really that I dislike.

The hotel itself is very aesthetic. The lobby and ameneties is very cultural which was pleasing to the eyes and experience as well. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. Modern looking too. Shower worked great and had a heater. The location of the hotel was very convenient. If you're in Bangkok for the food, the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and the famous Yaowarat street food is just on the other side of the street which is less than a 5min walk from the hotel. The hotel is also attached to a small mall which has a 7/11, Starbucks, KFC, and other restaurants, pharmacies, and convenience stores. Tuktuks and taxis are also always around so commuting is very easy and convenient. The location itself is in the middle of where you would probably need to go for a short vacation especially if you want to visit the local temples and tourist destinations and shops.

Nothing. Only thing was that there was no complimentary coffee or tea which really wasn't a big deal since there's a 7/11 close by.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. One of the standout features was the view — absolutely stunning and a real highlight of the experience. Whether it was morning light or sunset, it added something special to every day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city, with everything we needed just a short walk away. Despite being in the heart of things, it still felt calm and relaxing. The room itself was very well designed — stylish, functional, and comfortable, with great attention to detail. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into creating a space that guests would genuinely enjoy. I’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommended!

A bit hidden, as the reception is located on the 4th floor, however, very much worth it to stay at this hotel.

Chinatown is a world apart within Bangkok. If you like hectic places then this hotel is a good solution to stay in the middle of it. The hotel is above a mall and this is convenient even for late night shopping. Rooms are efficiently designed and enough spacious. There's everything you may need and may be useful (even if you dont use like a decent restaurant). Due to the location and design of hotel I would suggest the place to those who already know a bit of Bangkok and not to first-timers or families with little children. Having said this I could easily return there!

Check-in was a bit slow and basically you may meet staff only on check-in and check-out because you have to go on reception floor otherwise you may skip it completely. This can give you a kind of un-personal experience which is however good for travellers who don't need too much help. I missed only the pool but that's for another kind of holidays!

We loved the location — staying in Chinatown was fantastic, especially being so close to a vibrant and enjoyable Night Market. The room was clean and comfortable, and despite Bangkok’s usual noise, it was surprisingly quiet, allowing us to sleep well. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. This was already our second time staying here, and we would happily come back again. On one of our visits, we even received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, which was a wonderful surprise.

Everything was fine - overall, we‘d always come back.
