Pho Place is in a great location in Chinatown next to the hospital and temple. Despite being just a minute from the hustle and bustle of Yaowarat Road. The hotel is very clean, has friendly staff, and 24 hrs. front desk service. We have a super twin room with nice size refrigerator, a big hot water pot, and a safe, with, good WiFi. The bed was super comfy and there was plenty of storage space for everything. The location is near everything within walking a short distance. 7-11, food venters, restaurants, lotus market, taxis, buses, tuk-tuk, subway, train. The room was cleaned every day and kept spotless. Tea and coffee are available in the room, but also there are facilities in the reception area with a microwave, which guests can use free of charge. the hotel has excellent water pressure and always lots of hot water. Bliss after a day tramping around the city all day! We stay for 28 days and love it! We love the place and the price was very reasonable. We will go back and stay at Pho Place on a future trip to Bangkok!

The Pho Place is in a great location in Chinatown. Despite being just a minute from the hustle and bustle of Yaowarat Road, the hotel is an oasis of calm. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the reception staff. The first room we were allocated (304 I think) had a view of the wall next door. When we asked for a different room we were given the key to 503 to see if we liked that one better. Although not a great view it did have more light so we stuck with that one. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for a 7 night stay in Bangkok - safe, good WiFi. The bed was super comfy and there was plenty of storage space for everything. At first glance the shower looked like it was going to be rubbish. In fact it was excellent - good water pressure and always lots of hot water. Bliss after a day tramping around the hot city! The room was serviced every day and kept spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee are available in the room, but also there are facilities in the reception area., which guests can use free of charge We loved staying here, it was such a brilliant location and the staff were so friendly. Special shout out to Mohammed, always smiling and happy to chat with us. There is a small alley to the left as you come out of the hotel entrance, which looks a bit dodgy - don't be put off, it is perfectly safe and the people who live and work there are really friendly! Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Sound proofing isn't the best and there was occasionally some noise from other guests but nothing that deterred from our enjoyment of staying here.

Property is in a great location, in Chinatown, few minutes walk to 2 MRT stations, as well as bus stops. It’s a 15 minute walk to River City. Accommodation was very cheap, as was getting laundry done by the property. Staff were great too.

Only negative were ants, or potential termites in the room, within the walls, coming out of cracks around tables & the bed head. The air conditioning unit also looked old, could do with a clean..

Second time to stay at this place. Spacious room with a powerful AC. The room was cleaned every day without a request. Most importantly, it was very quiet. It is located a bit off from the main section of China Town, but it was easy to access to tourist attractions from this place. For instance, Bus 53 to Flower Market/Grand Palace/Khao San, MRT to other parts of Bangkok, Chao Phraya boat to ICONSIAM/Khao San, and Stroll to Song Wat Rd. Access to Suvarnabhumi Airport was also great - just one hour.

Bathroom was small. Public space next to the reception should be improved.

The hotel enjoys a fantastic location, situated right at the beginning of Chinatown while also being close to Talat Noi. Despite being a budget hotel, it perfectly suited our needs. The atmosphere was generally quiet, with the exception of some instances of slamming doors by neighbors. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and readily providing us with an iron and hair dryer upon request. The surrounding area boasts a variety of charming bars and cafes offering delicious breakfast options.

Great location at the edge of China Town with lots of eateries to choose from either within or just outside the main China Town area. There are nearby market and side streets of Chine Town nearby where locals shop and eat. Good public transport links with buses , train and ferry to choose from, all within walking distance from the hotel. The staff are very helpful and efficient. The service is excellent .Overall , it is a fantastic hotel for a short stay in Bangkok.

Staff terrific, very helpful, cheerful, lots of fun. Sometimes, had communication difficulties, but, overall resolved quickly. Had many gd laughs. Rooms very clean, big, no noise. Perfect, convenient location, very quite area. Hotel located down side street/alley, no traffic or noise. We arrived the day Vegetarian Festival commenced (2wks) which was nearby on main street. Highly recommend, transport close, original Bangkok railway station Hua Lamphong is within walking distance.

Mosquitoes!!! Luckily, we had our own can of mozzie body spray, which we used in the room.

The hotel was clean enough. Staff were really kind. The location is good - Chinatown is a vibrant, lively neighbourhood full od street food stands. Nearby there are nice local coffee bars for breakfast and a couple of 7 elevens.. Good value for the money. Wifi worked well. The room was spacious, had a fridge. We got the coffee and they provided us with water each day.

The street where the hotel is smelled funny and it is not the most pleasent though we felt really safe there. Shower pressure was not the best. Air-con was noisy and old, but did its job well. The room is a bit basic and could use refubrishing.

The hotel is modern, clean and nice, helpful staff. There is an elevator. Great location - heart of China Town, but on a side street so it's quiet. The room was big, nice. It seemed clean. I met a cockroach in the room, the next day the cockroach was on the balcony. On the other side of the hotel there is a huge mess after the fire. Despite this, it was one of the better accommodations I had during my month-long trip to Thailand. I really recommend this place.

Very central,situated on Yeawarat road in the middle of Chinatown. It’s tucked away up an alley off main road so very quiet at night. Clean large comfortable rooms with great beds ,fridge,tv and a balcony. Very friendly staff. At the time there was a huge fire next to hotel and all guest were evacuated . We managed to find a hostel nearby for the night. The hotel management gave us the next night for free due to the inconvenience of having to evacuate. I’ll stay here again next time in BKK

Not much really, the only negative was the water dispenser on our floor ( 5th). It was malfunctioning and the cold water was very warm , not healthy at all but front desk gave us free water every day.
