The guesthouse was in a great location, very close to the main train station, in between 2 metros, and slap bang in Chinatown. There were loads of restaurants, bars, cafes, and other such places close by. We could walk into the middle of Chinatown within 5-10 minutes, and be on the metro to anywhere else in Bangkok within 5-10 minutes as well.

Location meant that traffic / street noise was fairy constant. The guesthouse is very clear about this in the description, so this didn’t (and shouldn’t) come as any kind of surprise. It’s nothing that some ear plugs couldn’t handle in any case, but you should be wary of this if you’re a light sleeper.

The overall style and atmosphere of the old building was mesmerizing. High ceilings, mezzanine, old-fashioned furniture, door locks, wooden floors - we were there mainly because of that. Of course, it won't suit everyone, but if you are tired of sterile modern hotels - this is definitely your choice.

The bathroom, while still personal, was outside the room because the building was old and not initially designed to be a hotel. But we were warned about this tentatively, so we were OK with it. The water pressure at the faucet was weak. The only serious disadvantage here.

It’s located quite nearby, about 5 mins walk to Chinatown area with street food and night market. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and polite and helpful.

There wasn’t a lift so if you have suitcases it’s a bit troublesome to bring your bags up a small flight of stairs. Some of the decor and stuff in the room was just Abit dusty and old, could seem abit like clutter to some people tho it’s meant to give off a retro charm.

The old converted shophouse still has all of the rickety charm I was hoping for. The location just away from the heart of Chinatown and close to the metro can’t be beat. And the staff were really accommodating of our late arrival and check out.

If you like things a bit more polished and peaceful this isn’t the place for you. Located on a busy road there’s plenty of traffic noise but if you live in a big city you’ll tune this out no problem. Some of the bathrooms are located across the hall from the rooms. But again, this isn’t really a problem as long as you’re expecting it.

Laid back atmosphere of the property and room, and friendly staff. Unique and quaint layout of rooms and floors. Lots of "antique" and very old stuff in cabinets in the room. Room has a very high ceiling, allowing for an interesting wooden loft reached by a wooden ladder. The aircon was powerful, and there was a bar fridge. The private toilet and shower for our room (no. 3) was across the hall but this was not a big issue. Some of the other rooms may have attached toilets though. Convenient local eateries around the vicinity within 2-3 blocks of the dwelling.

Housekeeping is apparently not provided, as beds were not made throughout our 4-night stay. Towels were not changed, and shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, and toilet paper, were not replenished unless requested for. Waste baskets however were emptied daily, and two bottles of water were provided daily. There was no kettle, and thus no way to make coffee or tea in the room. There is no TV in the room, There is no breakfast option although this was not a major issue for us. The main door is padlocked from ~8 pm until ~8 am the next morning, so night owls and morning larks need to let themselves in and out. Our room was on level 3, so lugging baggage was quite an effort, and the place is definitely not suitable for older folks.

The architecture and period interior design is unique and sets the scene for a stay in Chinatown. It’s set next to some great boutique bars and in walking distance to the night markets on the Yarawat road

Our top room had exterior blinds that didnt open so we only had skylights and no view. Also no coffee or tea making facilities when the staff weren’t there and on Saturday they didn’t arrive till after 9, Sunday not at all.

Lots of character and absolutely lovely staff! Wonderful coffee and drinks downstairs, lots of yummy food nearby. Chinatown on one side and a quieter arty neighbourhood within reach on the other, which leads down to the canal and river. In typical Thai style the bed was very hard, but the mattress up on our mezzanine was a bit softer. We loved having a fan and the staff kindly put the air conditioning on for us while we were out! Towels and bedding were very clean and we loved the room's furnishings. Of course it's a bit noisy outside - you're in an old building in the centre of it all! Expect stairs and a private bathroom outside of your room if you're booking one of the smaller accommodations. However please ignore negative reviews, especially about the staff - they were so lovely and available at all hours to help us. If you're someone who appreciates kindness, character, a unique space in a heritage building, and great coffee, and doesn't mind a bit of noise or have accessibility requirements, you'll love staying here - it's unique and grand. If you'd prefer an air tight airport type standard hotel, there are lots of other options in this big and vibrant city. Thank you so much 103 for welcoming us!

The location is on Soi Nana where there are several quirky bars, restaurants, and cafes The rooms have an old fashioned appeals with antique furniture and other items scattered about

The room did not have a kettle to make tea or coffee. The stairs are a little tough, if elderly, but I managed and staff helped me with my luggage.

Loved how old and looked after the property was. Quiet area (no parties). Wonderful old decor. Great location relative to MRT but not really close to anything of note. Bed was very firm, which we liked

Water pressure was very weak. We left at 9am on a Saturday and the coffee shop still wasn't open, seems odd for somewhere that offers breakfast according to the Booking website.

I loved the atmosphere of bed and brews. I felt safe and comfortable travelling alone. It was easy access to transport and walking distance to great food. The coffee was also amazing.

The ac was a little high and I couldn’t control the fan.
