The location is authentic, between Chinatown & Talot Noi is ideal, workers go about their trade which is fascinating in comparison to my home country. A major (MRT) Subway station is a few minutes away, tap on/iff with Visa debit card (easy). Local street vendors serve tasty authentic Thai food, and late afternoon local food markets increase the options exponentially. Walking distance to a few Michelin Bib Gurnard eateries is a plus, and a beautiful temple with the worlds most valuable gold Buddha is metres away. The guesthouse itself is charming, quaint and richly decorated. Ceilings are low & stairwells narrow; authentic. This is not a modern tourist designed accomodation. Moss, the Manager is a treasure. As are his 3 cats that take over his chair & desk, leaving Moss to work standing up lol. Moss runs the place like clockwork, he notices everything & is the perfect host. Breakfast includes 2 mains, meat & vegetarian, dessert, and fruit, juice, coffee & tea. The best included meals I’ve experienced to date. I’ve booked a return visit shortly as theres still more to see and do. Must like cats 😻😸

We did get another room in a nearby building which was probably better than what we have initially booked. We really liked our stay here. The style of the interior really reminds me of a grandma's home (especially the common area) in a very good way. There's a lot of cute little details, antiques and collections which makes this place really stand out from a usual hotel or hostel. The host is very friendly and talkative. Huge bonus points that there are cats. And I really liked how much effort it goes to breakfast, we stayed for 5 nights and every morning the food was different so really no way to get bored. And we always left very full. If we will return to Bangkok someday we would definitely want to stay here again!

The balcony could have a handle installed from outside because if you close the door it's hard to open it from the outside.

The whole place itself was a super cute experience. I loved their decor and the proprietor did mention that the narrow staircase, really the whole structure was older and Chinese-style so things that others may have a problem with just added to the charm of the place. Breakfast was great! They had meals prepared for us and it was definitely not a continental breakfast. Delicious food that included a stewed chicken with rice and veggies/soup. That was memorable because what home-cooked meal isn't? I did also enjoy that they had a side door for late returns. We definitely appreciated it when we returned from a night out exploring Chinatown. The proximity to Chinatown was also PERFECT for the one day we spent in Bangkok. The only issue (probably due to it being an older place) was the shower which seemed to have very low pressure. It wasn't a super big deal to me, but if you really wanted a hotel-grade experience in the bathroom, this was tiny!

I thought overall it was a great experience and don't really have anything negative to say. Although I wish I had known cash was expected for payment of the room. I am not sure if I missed that on the booking website. I hadn't pulled out enough baht and had to visit an ATM.

Great location and really quirky place. My room was lovely and bed comfy. Lots of free drinks and snacks (I only had the water, but it was a nice touch). Staff member who was there in the evening was very helpful in directing me to the station to get my flight.

Stairs very steep, especially with bags. Fine but good to know in advance. Breakfast was included, but I wasn't mad keen on it and couldn't tell if there was meat or not (I was assured it was tofu but wasn't sure). There are cats everywhere and I am a bit allergic so was worried about this. In the end I was fine but again worth knowing in advance.

We absolutely loved everything about The Unforgotten B&B. We had the top storey room, with garden balcony. We loved it because of the large room size with small fridge, big mirror, toilet and shower separate to each other. The garden balcony is delightful but we didn't spend much time out there due to the expected traffic noise during the day - and we were out and about exploring. But it was nice to wake up to and look at from the shower and toilet. People who are unfit, of large size or have mobility or health conditions (such as heart condition) or if you are travelling with large luggage - this level will not be suitable for you - book a lower level room. The Thai style breakfast was outstanding. We had a different menu each day for 6 mornings. Everyday, 2 typical Thai breakfast dishes (temperature hot, not spicy hot), plus rice, a Thai sweet dish, e.g. mango sticky rice and fruit. And really good coffee plus complimentary bottled water available anytime. For us the location was perfect. Easy walking to Chinatown and the river. There many many local street vendor and indoor restaurants within 100m of the B&B. We also walked to The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Memorial Bridge, Lumphini Park. All about 3-4kms one way. You can also use the local bus or MRT if you can't walk.

A wonderful authentic hotel at the very beginning of China town district. A good location (an underground station, a railway station, a bus stop-> a 5 minute walk and you’re in the center of the China town). The host and the stuff are kind, customer-oriented and helpful. The bed, pillows and blankets are great. The room and the hotel itself are clean, nice smell, traditional Thai breakfasts. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable 😀

Morning coffee is bitter and sour, but there is a nice cafe right at the corner where you can have an amazing coffee.

This was my second stay at Unforgotten, and it felt just as special as the first time. The decor in the rooms, and the whole building, is lovely and atmospheric. The breakfast is incredible - fresh and homemade, with several different side dishes and excellent coffee every morning. Location is perfect as well, near the centre of Chinatown and the Hualamphong MRT station, but in an alley that isn't noisy at night.

Wi-Fi was quite spotty in our room, but it wasn't a big deal as we were on holiday:)

We only stayed two nights but felt very welcome and cared for. We had to leave early on the last day of our stay and were provided with a breakfast to take with us which was very kind. Just know that if you’re fat, they will be sure to tell you you cannot make it to the room you booked if it is on the fourth floor. This was not insulting, mostly funny and I appreciated not having to struggle up very steep stairs! The only downside is the loud traffic noise but that is obviously not the fault of the property.

The room and commin space were decorated cute & beautifully. The room &linen is clean. Complimentary coffee, tea, and other beverages. Good quality of toileteries. Super friendly staff/receptionist. He allowed me to take shower when I took my bag after checkout. He even served hot tea (although I've check out). The breakfast was served in thr most extravagant way on the lively porcelain plate. The quantity is generous. Then vlosed with coffee and snacks.. ah..what a lovely experience to start the day. Location is not super center (if you're into shopping), but walking distance to MRT station, train and bus stop. Plenty of cheap-yummy streetfood around the hotel at nught.

The bathroom of Studio-room is not really attached. But I hv no issue since they provide bathrope. Light inside the room is a bit dim.

This place is the epitome of the word "quaint" I absolutely loved it! From the decoration, the wooden floors, the bathroom tiles, the high bed frame, silled windows, and fresh flowers in my room. The toiled is small but clean and the water pressure is great even at the third floor. They also serve a generous amount of healthy breakfast that is homecooked so it adds a lot of character to this bed and breakfast accommodation. It's a great and cheaper alternative to boring 2-4 star hotel accommodations I was used to. It's also near Hualamphong MRT station, where you can use your Visa card to tap and ride. It's also very close to Chinatown's Yaowarat road and night market. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They even give you a generous amount of free snacks and drinks in your room. I'd definitely recommend this place.

The room lighting is a bit dark, especially at night. It can feel a bit creepy 😅 The stairs is legit steep and small but shouldn't be a problem if you're agile enough.
