Staff were fantastic helping with good restaurants within walking distance (NAAM 1608 was lovely) and any other questions. Room was very comfortable although small and ours had no view out window (which didn’t bother us). Very nice lobby area for relaxing and good breakfast. Filtered water available in lobby. See below for only negative. Good location for walking to riverside ferries, Chinatown etc.

Unfortunately excessive noise coming from hallways made it very difficult for me to get a good nights sleep, up until after 2am and awake early in the morning with people speaking loudly outside rooms and constant doors slamming. (Not jet lag as have been in Asia 2 months).

The breakfast was good, location was great, staff was wonderful. There are a lot of things near it. I’d stay here again

Unfortunately my room was incredibly loud. The place is not soundproofed. Every morning around 8 I would hear the elevator start. It sounded like distant bass from a club. It may have been the location of my room but I found it hard to sleep in the morning and even difficult for an afternoon nap as the hallway is very echo-y and staff would clean during the afternoon. Probably not a problem for someone who gets up early and is out and about. It was fine at night regarding the noise

We had a wonderful stay here. It was relatively pricy, but that was mainly because we were staying around New Years. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable (still a little hard, but not as bad as most places in Thailand). The location is absolutely perfect as it is pretty quiet around the hotel itself, but the hustle and bustle of Chinatown is just around the corner. The best thing about this place was how helpful the personnel is though. One of the girls at reception helped us out multiple times making phone calls to make reservations at restaurants. She really went above and beyond to give us an amazing experience. In case you have a late flight, they also have a shower room that you can use. The service is really amazing!

Loved the staff - all of them super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotless and our room was immaculate every time we came back with our books placed upon our pillows. The hotel is in a good location with only a short walk to the river, Chinatown, Talat Noi and the nearest MRT Station. IconSiam Mall is also very easy to get to from the pier by the Sheraton Hotel and at 6 baht is very cheap ( access the hop-on/off river boat from IconSiam)

How close it was to where people shouldn't go. Everyone everywhere treated me really nice. I went to every back alley. Everyone was stoked to say hi. Even though they call klong toey the slum, I recognized their industrious industries. I've done pipe fitting and structural fabrication. Was stoked to recognize these industries in the nearby vicinity.

I didn't like how I couldn't leave items to charge throughout the day unless my key card was in a monitoring holster.

Beautiful Boutique hotel with heaps of history and character located within 10-15min walking distance of the MRT, Chinatown and River taxis. Staff and Owner are very friendly and helpful on visiting local attractions. 7/11 within 5min walk. Breakfast is good with a good variety of things to choose, cooked fresh. Bed firm but comfortable. Security on front door at night. Front facing rooms have a great view of the city skyline.

Rooms can be noisy from corridor and adjacent rooms talking. Shower was inconsistent, a bit hot and cold. Hotel is located away from restaurants, fast food etc. At least a 15min walk.

Very cosy stay. The room is not big but sufficient and very clean. Owner and staff are very friendly. Smart TV on wall so you can login your Netflix account. The daily breakfast is super tasty and we love their strong coffee. Hotel is at the outer edge of Chinatown, walkable to the busy markets (around 15 mins and crossing many streets). If "not such a walker" like me, it's easier to walk to nearby Hualamphong BTS and take the mrt - one station to Wat Mangkon where the Chinatown market. To other places, can take mrt to Silom and change to other lines. A few minutes walk to many amazing street food stalls in the evening, 7-11, Amazon and Starbucks coffee. The hotel has a cozy dining area for meals and bar drinks.

Even better if the hotel can install 2 self pay washer and dryer in the premises so occupants can bring less clothes for travel.

I enjoyed my week stay at the Ago as it was comfortable, quiet, and had friendly and helpful staff. It's not far from a blue line stop and while the most beautiful area to walk it is safe and close to many sights that are within walking distance. Some personal recommendations that are very close to the hotel are recordcoffee which has some of the best coffee I personally ever had and for a nice cocktail the Very Nice Bar is a great place and has some tasty bites as well.

This is a lovely hotel. The proprietress (who has a lovely smoothie recipe) is charming and helpful. The staff are a delight, smiling and attentive. The location is close to a Blue Line MRT Station (Hua Lamphong). The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable and agreeable, the food is great, and we would happily stay here again.

The hotel is on one of the quieter roads in the area and in a very convenient location within a few minutes walk to Chinatown, local shops, the river ferry (The Maritime Department pier) - which is the fastest and cheapest way to travel to see the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, etc - and the free shuttle ferry to ICONSIAM mall. It's also near the MRT but we didn't use that during our stay. The management were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was comfortable. Breakfasts were good. The hotel restaurant provides tasty meals and is very convenient if you don't want to go out to find something to eat in the evening.
