Nice hotel on the River and walking distance to China Town. Loved my comfortable bed and luxury sheets! Enjoyed the fan in the room in addition to the air con. Room was basic but very clean. Nice view of the River. 7/11 close by for drinks and snacks. Good cafes also very close.

Restaurant was very good food but I thought it was a little pricey. Breakfast good, but expensive. Better to eat out. Don't overload the lift more than 6 people or it will be out of order for hours! The stairs will be a challenge if you have mobility issues and you are on a higher floor.

i opted for an 'upgrade"on the 7th floor..room 705..fabulous view of the river, but a horrible bathroom..the shower "area" is a curtain.. and the water did not drain, so you basically waded to get to the toilet.. do not accept this room.later "downgraded" to a "twin rom" less view but a far far better room, separate WC..separate shower.. a much better deal..

I love staying here! The rooms are spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the river and even better views from the restaurant and bar on the rooftop. This area of Bangkok is historic and beautiful with the best coffee shops and restaurants and just 5 minutes walk from Chinatown so the perfect location to celebrate Lunar New Year. Chinatown/Yaowarat and Song Wat areas have some of the best themed cocktail bars too - Opium is one of my favourites, and Hex is fun too. Naam 1608 is perfect for Thai food on the river too.

I asked a couple of staff about the Chinese New Year celebrations and they didn't know and gave me vague or misleading information- it would have been great to have much more detailed and accurate info.

The bed was huge and comfortable. The locations is great, in the coolest district Talat Noi, just next to Chinatown and still it is quiet at night so you can easily have a good sleep. The hotel has nice personel that helps at any hour you need (24h reception). We enjoyed a lot having a sunset beer on the rooftop - they even have craft beers (Chiang Mai pale ale was very good)! Worth going there at least half an hour before sunset, because it gets full.

It was weird for us that there is a limit of water bottles per day - when we asked for more water they gave it to us, but with an exception that we won't get new ones on the following day.. Weird rule that we haven't met anywhere else in Thailand, even though this was one of the most expensive places we have stayed in.

The receptionist who welcomed us at midnight was charming and very patient The location is great, close to Chinatown and the Railway station where trains leave for Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. The draft Singha beer upstairs is a wonderful accompaniment to the lovely views.

The American breakfast was overpriced, bland and awful. I’ve never had worse eggs. People seemed to enjoy their evening meals, but I’ll never try them. The waitress at the upstairs restaurant was snooty and dismissive when I asked the price of a beer jug. To be fair, it was very busy as big groups had come in for breakfast.

It was really close to Chinatown. Loved the location down all these interesting alleyways. It reminds me of the hutongs in China. Unfortunately taxis can’t get to the door so you need to have wifi to navigate the last 300-400 meters. The lady at the front of house was so polite and accommodating I was very impressed. She couldn’t do enough for us.

Just the fact it might be frustrating not having wifi to find the actual hotel the first time. I had to go get a coffee use their wifi to find the hotel. Then walk there using GPS.

This is the second time that we have stayed as we like the location (walkable to China Town and the ferry pier) and the views from the top floor balconies are great for watching river life go by. Try to get floor 6 or 7. It is a bit difficult to find at first and a taxi cannot drop you right outside so ask the driver to call the hotel or to ask a local. It is very close to a Chinese temple.

The bathroom needs updating and doesn't feel very clean. The restaurant on the top floor is still closed.

The room was very spacious, with a pretty cool view of Bangkok, it had everything we needed. The staff was super friendly - we had to stay one more night in Bangkok and they had no problem extending our stay, we even kept the same room. We also checked out early in the morning at around 04:30, which wasn't an issue at all. The location was also really nice, as you stepped outside of the hotel right into Chinatown, which was quite charming! Nearby you can walk to the ferry station which will take you across the river to Iconsiam shopping mall, from 7th floor of which you can enjoy the view of the skyscrapers and the river, especially during sunset.

Not a minus, just a word of caution: if you're taking a taxi to the place, you'll end up in the super narrow streets and even the local taxi drivers might freak out 😅 Save them some trouble and get off a bit early to walk a couple of blocks ;) Also, make sure to enter from the correct side of the building - you should see signs on the streets which should lead you right to the entrance.

Superb location. Old town of Bangkok. You will find artisan cafes and restaurants just around the corner as well as hyper local food stands, centuries old Chinese temples and tea houses and men fixing engines in the workshops next door. Hotel itself is clean and simple. Wifi is not good, but all the rest you need is there. Roof top restaurant view is stunning. 2+1+1 family room is hard to find in other places. Staff is nice and welcoming. Definitely would stop here again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Both at the reception and at the restaurant where I have my breakfast everyday. Room is cleaned promptly every day.

A little bit hard to reach by car. You have to walk about 50 meters from where the road proper ends on a lane to the hotel. But there is a positive side to this as well: you do not hear traffic and it gives it a rather rustic feel.
