Staff were very helpful, the balcony and view was great.

Did not like the open bathroom and no privacy for the WC; WC cubicle was in clear view of the open bedroom layout plan and there was no privacy/ obscure film on the glass cubicle. The bathroom screen curtain was damaged and had not been repaired.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room with a view of the river. It was great sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by. We liked the small nature of the hotel and the idiosyncratic decor. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was varied and ample. We liked the location and being out of the busy traffic and highrise area and yet it was an easy walk to the ferries and Iconsiam.

It wasn't really an issue for us but the approach to the hotel is up a slightly scruffy alley way. We arrived at night and it probably looked worse. In daylight it was fine and we felt perfectly safe walking about.

This hotel is situated right next to the river and has spectacular views over the city. It's a boutique hotel with eclectic decor - the room are beautifully decorated with antique style furniture although the toilet and shower had glass doors and walls which was a little odd. It's a little like stepping back in time to the fifties for ambience but the service is first class and everyone was friendly and very helpful. Comfortable rooms and close to a skyrail station for easy travel to/from the city centre.

The restaurant has a limited vegetarian menu which wasn't to my taste, and breakfast didn't have any Thai/Asian vegetarian options. I found other restaurants nearby with Thai vegetarian food which was better for me. The location is also hard to find as it's down a small alleyway off another small road. The roof top bar wasn't open but the hotel can be noisy at night with music playing on the river boats and the lift mechanism is also quite loud. None of this bothered me at all, but if you are a light sleeper maybe best to bring earplugs.

I travel to Bangkok regularly to relax and just enjoy the varity of cultural offers and the huzzle buzzle, but I love to stay in a relaxing, calm and clean place. Amadeng excellently served what I want. I love the well developed design details. It is coming home, perfect view over the Chao Phraya River, nice balconies to enjoy the sun rise and sun set (roof terrace). Breakfast choices need to be done one evening in advance - very sustainable!! In exchange you can enjoy a calm, private homefeeling breakfast environment without the usual 'fight' at the buffet in big hotels. Near the BTS Gold Line - so well connected, Icon Siam and a ferry to the other side of the river in walking distance. Very calm place - some noise in the evening the boat traffice on the Chao Phraya - but when you discover BKK nightlife you are anyway not in the hotel. We included a Loy Krathong Dinner in our stay - received a nice interpretation of Thai contemporary cuisine served with excellent wine!

I recommend serving beverages and snacks at the roof top terrace during sunset! Sunset could be enjoyed in a private atmosphere. It looks like it has been done in the past.

Stayed there for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The building was STUNNING. The room was incredible and so comfortable and unique. Very quiet area, and being able to walk through the local neighbourhoods was such a privilege. Probably not suitable for people who want to be near lively and party areas. But you can easily catch a Grab or Tuk Tuk to get anywhere you want to go. Beds super comfortable, views fantastic, bath spectacular. Staff SUPER friendly and helpful with anything you need. Only had dinner for one night but it was the best Thai omelette we ever had in the 2 weeks in Thailand.

The see through glass to the toilet was a little annoying, but there are curtains you can pull across the entire bathroom area to get privacy. Pool also didn't seem to be open for use.

This little hotel is tucked away and quiet, yet close to everything. The party cruise boats that pass add a fun vibe. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to the BTS and lots of great places to explore within walking distance.

We wish there was more space to organize clothing in the room. There are a couple of dangerous height differences in the floor making it easy to fall at night when you aren't used to it. The river is very polluted. Lots of garbage floating around.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff were absolutely delightful, they offered to drive you to the main road every time you left the hotel (for free). The room was great, with a large shower and a bathtub. Also, the hotel’s exterior and interior are breathtaking. The hotel is also located within a 10min walk from a ferry station which allows you to cross the river very easily. Would definitely stay in this hotel again, and thank you very much to the staff for making it an exceptional stay (receptionists, breakfast staff, housekeeping… ALL)

The room was lovely, just as shown on the photos. The rooftop bar was closed for service but we could still go up there with our drink for river views.In the evening, bats were flying to the tree nearby. It was an amazing sight if you love urban wildlife. The staff was very friendly and when they made a mistake, fixed it right away. We enjoyed our stay there. The dinner menu was extensive and we loved what we ordered. The breakfast needed to be chosen at check-in, and was one plate of food. If you want a HUGE selection of food, go to the Iconsiam (about a 15 minute walk, less by driving).

Nothing, just keep in mind that this hotel is across the river from the main downtown core. If you prefer a quieter stay where you can watch the river, then this location is perfect.

The hotel is a boutique - residential block built between the wars, converted into a hotel. The advantage to be by the river is to sit on the balcony and watch the river traffic. The overall style looks more like a Berlin or Paris residence with an industrial touch style. It felt more like staying over in a friend's flat than in a hotel. It had a lot of character.

The fact the hotel is by the river, the approach to it is via small, narrow roads, which do not feel safe during the night. Most of the taxis preferred to drop us on the main road and not to push through those small alleys crossing the canals and passing by dark corners. I would not recommend the place to a woman solo traveller. The swimming pool is of no use. It is by the canal, with no maintained lounges and is quite dirty overall.
