I stayed in the female dorm for a long weekend, and the value was amazing for the price. The bunk in the room was very cozy and solid, the AC and locker storage were great. Breakfast is make your own eggs and toast, which I really appreciated before exploring the rest of the city. The location is incredible, right around the corner from all the street food and fun, but also very quiet once you get to the hostel. Best part: the staff is lovely and so helpful, Pat and Koi are awesome and go out of their way to make sure you get a great experience in the city, giving great recommendations for where to eat or visit. This is a wonderful place for travelers on a budget who'd also like a vintage and homey vibe.

Location could not be better. Right in the middle of Chinatown but a street away from the madness. Surprisingly quiet even in the evenings. The comfiest beds ever. Staff were so friendly. I stayed in the private room with balcony and it was a great size. Balcony was nice to step out on in the morning. Very clean for a hostel. Would definitely stay again purely for the location and the staff.

Tiny things like the toilet was coming away slightly from the base and the sink plug could do with a good scrub but it was totally minor and didn't affect my trip. My room was 5 flights of narrow stairs up, just something to bare in mind when booking.

Within walking distance from a subway station. Hostel on a parallel road about a block from the main Chinatown road, so you get the best of both world. Accessible to the main tourist and food street, but on the quiet smaller road. The road the hostel is on is accessible to motor vehicles, but I mainly see cyclists and pedestrians. Food from breakfast to late late supper within walking distance. Boss and his crew kept the place clean and tidy, if there's a piece of paper on the floor in the common area, an hour later and it would be gone. The staff would have removed it. Doesn't have the party vibe (which I personally prefer). You can have friendly conversation with the roommates or in the common area, but not worry about roommates returning at 3am from a pub hop.

Not sure if the roof top is accessible (didn't check and didn't ask), would have been great if it was.

Pat, Koi and the staff were very kind until the very end of my stay! I stayed from November 30 to December 8, 2024. On my first day, they helped me right immediately and told me what I could do in Bangkok; I liked the place because of center of the temples and foods areas. Every day, they are eager to assist you with what you can do and where to dine, not only in Bangkok but also on your next vacation throughout Thailand. They're quite helpful. The building's design was very unique, and we stayed on the top floor. Surprisingly, we didn’t mind the stairs at all; in fact, we found it quite interesting and different. Our room was spacious with a large bed and a balcony offering a great view of the Chinese Quarter, which added to the charm of the place. The bed linens were clean and fresh, and we really enjoyed the quirky touches in the room, like the cat figurines. We were also pleased to find a refrigerator and a kettle in the room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of the Chinese Quarter. The hostel staff were friendly, always ready to help and answer our questions.

The breakfast was a bit unusual—it wasn’t really a typical breakfast but rather an opportunity to prepare your own, consisting mainly of fried eggs and toast. I would recommend that the hotel make this clearer on the booking check so guests know that what’s offered isn’t a full breakfast but a chance to cook eggs and toast for themselves. However, we managed to make the best of it. We bought yogurt, cereal, and vegetables from a nearby store to complement our breakfast, and in the end, it wasn’t too bad. At night, it was sometimes noisy, which is understandable since it’s a hostel with young people who occasionally make some noise.

The property's location is really good. We explored lots of close by neighborhoods in China town. China town by itself is at its most vibrant over the weekend. Not much to do during weekdays except walking. The room is spacious and comfortable. Lighting was a bit dim but okay for our taste. We wished balcony to be a bit more clean/useful during the stay.

From earlier reviews we assumed the breakfast was included even though there was no option to avail in booking.com but the person at the reception was kind to provide us the complimentary breakfast. We really appreciate the gesture but for future guests please be mindful and check it while checking-in.

Patt and Koa the owner was really friendly and helpful during my one week stay. The place is REALLY clean and in the centre of everything. Unlike other hostels in the area, there is proper road access for taxis/ motorbikes so calling a taxi is not an issue and you get picked up wirght from the door. On top of it all it’s really cheap and as a package does not get better than this! Definitely going there again and recommend it to anyone.

The location is super strategic, close to bus station (I’m Chinatown where many of the buses stop) and MRT. Also close to Chinatown where many of super delicious food are located. Facilities are super clean! They clean the common area and shared bathroom & toilet everyday. Soap and shampoo as well as clean towel are provided. Hairdryer are also provided. The host and staff are super nice and can recommend you many good food. I highly recommend those on budget travel to stay here. Probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in my backpacking experience.

They dont empty the trash in your room while you stay but this is very minor.

Excellent location! A block from all the Chinatown action but very quiet. The staff was also so friendly and helpful in giving me recommendations to make the most of Bangkok. Shower, bathrooms, and common areas were cleaned daily. Felt very secure and the door was easy after hours. Also the value for money was excellent.

The 8-person sleeping area was small, more like cubbies than beds. But I mostly had the whole room to myself (4 nights of the 6) so that wasn’t an issue. Could be hard in the busy season though.
