Solo female traveler. Stayed 4 nights. Lovely family that runs Tiny Taladnoi -- so kind and helpful, making sure guests have the most comfortable stay possible. Very clean and excellent location. Bustling area during the day. Quiet at night, making for a restful sleep. Close to the Marine Department if you are taking a riverboat to explore, which brings you to many attractions, Khao San Road, etc. When I made my reservation, I was sent a map of the train lines in case I wanted to take a train from the airport rather than taxi or Grab. Turned out to be especially helpful since I opted for the train, and used the train on other occasions during my time in Bangkok. Chinatown is a 10-15 minute walk. Had many meals and found good currency exchange rates there. This was my first time in Bangkok. If I am fortunate enough to return some day, my stay will most definitely be with Tiny Taladnoi.

Two things that were not a problem for me but others might find helpful to know. No elevator -- not an issue since the staff helped carry my bags (room was on 4th floor). Key needs to be inserted for power to room -- only stored water in the refrigerator, and it didn't take long for the air conditioner to cool the room once turned on.

We knew this hotel was in a great location, and with the very good reviews we were confident that it would be a great place to stay, but it really exceeded our expectations. Super clean, friendly staff, quiet but central setting, daily housekeeping (they even had a snack in our upon arrival and provided so much complimentary bottled water for us), and a bunch of little details they thought of that make a big difference. We would stay here again without hesitation!

We loved everything! The only thing I will note is that we were on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, this was not a problem for us but may be a consideration for some guests who have a lot of luggage or cannot live with a lot of stairs.

Room was comfortable and very clean. The staff was very nice. After check-out, they let us leave the bags there for the day, and even offered us a shower if we wanted to once we returned to pick it up, which is great considering the Bangkok heat!

Fourth floor without elevator - for us it was not a problem, but if you heavier luggage just be aware

Great place to stay in a very nice district of Bangkok ! You can walk a few minutes through artistic peacefull small streets until the busy chinatown district. Plenty of street food and cheap restaurants. There also more "stylish" coffee shops for a more expencive price. The lady who is running the place speaks really well english and she is so helpful and took so good care of us. Everyone in this place is really friendly including cats. We had the Double room with private bathroom and everything was spotless clean and very well equiped (plenty of water, big kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, many space to put your stuff. Seperated toilets and shower. A really good stay for a really fare price ! AND the street is lively but so quiet. No noise at night and very small noise at day. It was so nice to have some peace in a so energetic city.

Nothing bad really. Just know there is no elevator so take your time with you luggage if you are on 4th floor. Staircase is huge so it is no big struggle at all.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful and we could leave our bags last day before our evening trip to the airport. AC and wi-fi worked well. Room and bathroom were clean and so was the rest of the hostel. Plenty shops and restaurants are close by. It is not the closest to the metro (15 mins by foot), but bus stops are close and some even go to the Royal Palace area directly.

Doors and windows are not very sound-proof and we could hear traffic outside and guests in the hostel, but at night we had no noise issues. The storage space is somewhat limited.

Dorm room was very clean and beds were comfortable and spacious. Showers and toilets also clean and shared bathroom area was nice. The owner was very kind and helpful, offering bug spray when we sat outside and use of her printer. Talat Noi area of Bangkok is really cool and there are lots of nice streets and shops to explore. Hostel was close to several bus stops which connected the area well with the rest of the city. Closest MRT station is a 15 minute walk to Hua Lamphong which is manageable if you don’t want to try the buses.

Limited social space

The hotel is super clean, the rooms are comfortable and very quiet. The location is also perfect, close to Chinatown and Hua Lamphong station. The owner is amazing! She is super friendly and smiling, always offering a snack or a drink. I booked a bed in the mixed dorm but since on the night I arrived there were only male guests there she moved me to the female one, and that was very appreciated! Just so you know, it is not a social hostel but you know that before booking ;) I was looking for a calm and peaceful place and for that it was perfect.

Incredibly clean to a level I'd expect in a 5 star hotel. Great service on check-in and check-out. Small but room had everything I needed. Decent air con though can only put it on when in the room, not when you leave but not a huge issue as it cools the room quickly. Bed was firm but I found it comfy. The owner was wonderful and went the extra mile on checkout giving me snacks and offering to arrange an airport transfer which I didn't need at that time but it made me feel good to be asked. Had it's own cute orange house cat.

There is only one room key given and you need one to turn on the room power. This means that when going out the fridge and air con are turned off. Fridge more of an issue if needing to keep things chilled when out of the hotel. Air con worked quickly when on though.

Everything was Excellent!!! Ms. Nk the owner and her family treated me as their own. Very hospitable and took good care of my stay. The private room was very clean, very organized with hot and cold shower and even better than a three-star hotel except for the lift, but it didn't ruin my stay because they will help you in every way that they can even carrying my very heavy luggage up to 4th floor. The location was very convenient and accessible especially its just walking distance to the maritime dept where you can take river boats to some tourist spots. I will definitely stay again for my next visit in Thailand. ทำได้เยี่ยมมาก!

Very clean, friendly staff who provided coffee, waters in the room and fruit in the morning in the kitchen. Lovely kept communal shower and toilet areas.

The tele did not play any English speaking channels, could also not use any apps on the tele so we didn’t get any use of the tele when that was one of the reasons why we booked with this hotel
