This is a large hotel with 23 floors but doesn't feel impersonal at all. Comfortable room with very comfy bed. Clean and tidy. Breakfast good. very friendly and helpful staff. Above average hotel gym that I used every day I was there. Room service very good. Close to the BTS travel system at Victory Monument station. A good, value for money choice for a short stay in central Bangkok.

No real complaints. If I were to be super critical, maybe the AC unit was a little bit loud.

The room seemed a little bit used up. For example, the shower door looked like it would fall out every second. The faucet of the sink was faulty. After the first day our towels were missing. We called the reception and they told us, they would send someone - it never happened. We had to ask a second time the next day. No light switches at the bed. No free wall plugs for charging your phone: You have to unplug the lamps like it is 2009. More continental options for the breakfast would be nice.

Loved that the room was clean and comfy. Room service was relatively efficient. The concierge were helpful in the sense that I had arranged for a pick up of my damaged luggage, and they left me a message under the door when I was out that the luggage has been replaced and they promptly sent it up to my room once I called them up. The breakfast was not too bad, though reputative, with the almost exact breakfast food every morning. The location was fairly good, with 2 7-11s just less than 100m away, and there were many food options around the area. Never had many issues with getting ride hires to the location as well. The pool area was really pretty as well though I never had the opportunity to use it due to my very packed travel schedule.

One of my main issues was that the toilet was difficult to flush, having to hold it down for a while before it was fully flushed. The shower would have been better if it was removable, as it makes showering easier. Another minor issue was the lack of usable power outlets, with the main one being next to one bed, leaving the other bed with no power outlets to use.

The CPH is a great place to stay if you are in Bangkok. Great outdoor pool area and gym facilities on the 5th floor. Great breakfast buffet included with your room stay. Rooms are a good size with a nice view of the city especially at night. Hotel is spotless. Good location for city attractions. Close to public transportations and offers a free hourly shuttle to the Victory Monument where you can catch the sky train. Close to subway station as well. Staff are great and very helpful. A short 15 minute walk to a night market and dozens of restaurants of all kinds. Hotel is spotless.

I cannot think of anything that could have been better.

It’s a nice hotel but the room was a little tired. We had only two working outlets for our electronics and the bathroom had none. The bed was quite lumpy as well. Otherwise very clean. The food in both restaurants was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were very kind but spoke little English. The neighborhood is a little gritty and you have to walk several blocks to get to the sky train. But overall excellent value!

Ordered a hotel taxi on departure day, wanted a comfortable ride in an Suv to the Koh Chang ferry. This was not a pleasant experience as the driver was on and of the gas pedal / throttle every 2 seconds and drove as uncomfortably as i never thought possible, he also had a repetitive behavior of picking his face and neck the whole trip. (4 hours)

We stayed there during the big earthquake in Bangkok. The staff was really supportive and helpful. There was cool water outside the building to provide the guests which was vital due to the heat and the confusion caused by the earthquake. The staff dealt well with the situation trying to keep us safe and calm.

The hotel is big and clean. Breakfast for everyone. Coffee very good. The restaurant staff is super helpful and friendly.

The hotel offers a type of taxi that is more expensive than a regular city taxi. This leaves a bitter taste and is perhaps the only bad experience in this hotel.

We had the most wonderful stay here at the Century. We didn’t book early Checkin, however were given a room straight as we walked in. It was located on a higher floor with a lovely view over the city. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, there were supplementaries such as free water, shaving kit and everything else you need. The towels were shaped into elefants. It had a lovely bathtub and a spacious shower with a door which is not common in Thailand. The pool area on the 5th floor is also amazing, nice refreshing water as it lies in the shade in the morning and sun only gets there in the afternoon. There are fresh pooltowels that you can take whenever you want (even though people here said that none are provided). The service at the pool was also awesome, staff came around to take your orders as there is no poolbar outside but they bring food from the kitchen and drinks from the lobby bar. The food in the Hotel was so good, we did the New Year’s Eve set menu dinner here which was sooo delicious and very well planned trough, also cheap compared to other offers in town. The breakfast was very complete and despite other people claiming that it was not continental, I can confirm that it certainly is. Everyone will find something to eat that they like. Reading trough other reviews here, I wonder whether some people here are blind or just have unreachable expectations. I also don’t think that the place looks rundown as people stated here, it’s just not extremely modern from the design but this is still Thailand. I think this hotel is very authentic and brings the overall package a fantastic hotel needs. We will definitely be back. You really get good value for money here. Portiers are very kind, always open doors, greet and arrange taxis for a fair amount.

Breakfast hours could be extended to 11am, especially around new years, but that’s just a personal preference. Other than that - nothing at all. Thank you so much for everything!

The location was okay for family, about 2-3km from the center and about 900meters from the nearest metro. I like that they also offer free shuttle service to the nearest metro station. The breakfast selection was good. The room was spacious. The staff are polite and very attentive. My son enjoyed the pool area.

I can't think of anything I didn't like in particular. Maybe just that there were limited restaurants for family with kids around the area.
