The room was beautiful and the bathroom enormous. The spacious balcony, complete with day bed, was very comfortable. Despite the constant coming and going of aircraft at Suvarnabhumi, we couldn't hear the air traffic once the balcony door was closed. The hotel is very peaceful and the decor is gorgeous. The Italian restaurant is superb.

Despite paying for the room in advance, the receptionist tried to charge me again. You don't expect these kind of embarrassing misunderstandings in a 5 star hotel. Then, as we left, the receptionist (same guy) tried to charge us for breakfast that we didn't have. It soured the experience on arrival, then again on departure. A real shame.

Friendly staffs and safety

Doorsteps at the front gate would have almost killed me, you should put a sign at least . . . "Watch your steps" . . . Unless someone will have a bad accident soon. And on 29th Jan, your staff opened our room door with the master key while I was resting with my wife, without any notice. . I understand that you were to give some present for lunar new year's day, but I still believe that you should have knocked first at least.

Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi was an overnight stopover for myself and my father whilst we were flying in and out of Bangkok Airport - we booked 2 rooms staying one night at the beginning of our trip, and a second night before flying back home again. On both occasions we were very impressed by this hotel - the rooms are comfortable and spacious, well maintained and spotlessly clean, and the staff go out of their way to be welcoming, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of options. We also tried the Favola Italian Restaurant during our stay, and whilst it is a little more expensive than some other restaurants, I can only say that it was totally worth it - the food was absolutely delicious! The location of the hotel no more than 20 mins from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport was ideal, and the easy to book free airport shuttle bus made getting to and from the hotel quick and easy. We didn't try the Golf Course, but it was clearly a very well maintained and professional course. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi again or to recommend it to others, either as an ideal stopover whilst travelling through Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport or to keen Golfers.

Nothing - everything was perfect.

It was a really beautiful property with spacious suites. The staff were very friendly and efficient and were keen to tend to all our needs.

The airport pick up with private limousine. We arrived at domestic airport and had to walk all the way to the International section to find that nobody was waiting and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a representative, then a further 10 minutes for the car to arrive. So in all including the 10 minute walk from domestic, we wasted 35 minutes for a private limousine. Why can we not get picked up from the terminal that we landed at as most hotel cars do ?

We've stayed here three times over the years, always one to two nights usually on our return leg out of Thailand, or transiting. Always clean rooms and common areas, great polite and welcoming staff, superb spa, nice pool and a relaxing feel to the property. Only about 20mn drive from BKK's main airport and the hotel has a convenient shuttle service.

The spa is on the pricier side but the quality of treatment is great.

Location is good. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to a serious issue related to the quality of food in its restaurants. During my stay, I ordered four different dishes in two separate restaurants, and all of them were dangerously undercooked or spoiled to the extent that it was clear consumption could lead to food poisoning. Recognizing the risk, I requested a refund from the hotel manager, Giuseppe. Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely unsatisfactory. Despite a lengthy discussion where he initially seemed to consider my complaint, Giuseppe ultimately refused to refund the cost of the meals and stay. Given that it was impossible to find any safe food options within the hotel, I was compelled to leave for my health's sake. This experience was not only disappointing but also concerning, as it reflects poorly on the hotel's commitment to guest safety and satisfaction. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a safe and enjoyable dining experience during their stay.

Location, staff, pool, beds comfortable, great breakfast selection.

Very pricey on a few menu items and spirits. A bit annoying when your room at this price was not properly stocked. No coffee, no napkins, only 2 creamers, conditioner empty in bathroom. Outdoor beds around pool mouldy. Expect better at this price. Room had bad smell like sewerage coming through air conditioning, had to ask for air freshener.

Location - green/lush but near airport for morning flight. Excellent gym and pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful (BaiBua - lovely waitress). Food was good - love the idea for drink and appetizers. We have a lovely terrace room with view to golf course (thank you!). I don’t play golf but it is cool people can play when it is dark as the course is well lit.

Not a lot to dislike. Only suggestion would be to have another shower near the pool (or sign to see where the one is) as I watch some very sweaty people take a pool plunge without washing!

For some reason, when we checked in, nobody picked up the phone when we called reception. I had to call the hotel's external line to ask for basics such as internet not working, ask where breakfast was, etc. In addition, the Wifi repeatedly did not work and only magically started working when we did manage to get to reception. Did reception open up Wifi access for us only when we called reception...? That would be very weird. Honestly for a hotel of this apparent standard and price I think these are meaningful problems. It's a really nice hotel but if they cannot get basics like this right, I would be really concerned as management.

The best hotel I’ve ever been to! Staff was so polite the best service could not do more for you and made sure we wasn’t getting scammed by taxis. Hotel was beautiful especially with the views of the golf course nice pool everything. We started our Thailand experience off here and within an hour I fell in love. Would definitely go back worth every penny.

Only downfall is the location.
