Great location near Ari BTS, lots of good restaurants around. Breakfast was simple (no cooked food, only yoghurt fruit etc) but it was allowed to refill the plate as much as I wanted. The bed in the single room with private bathroom was comfortable and clean.

For the price I paid (38€) I think I could have gotten more value for the money elsewhere. However I wanted to stay in a hostel so I paid the premium, but still I think the price is a bit too high for what’s included.

Comfortable beds with lockers, curtains, lights and plugs so you have privacy and everything you need. The rooms and bathrooms are kept clean. The whole vibe of the place is just lovely. It's a great place to meet people and hang out, I hardly wanted to leave the hostel to go exploring! Breakfast is also nice - simple and healthy. There are plenty amenities like laundry, co-working area, chill area, bar, coffee shop, board games etc all within the hostel. The neighbourhood, Ari, is also so nice - a lot of really nice bars, coffee shops, restaurants, street food and markets. I'll definitely stay there on my next trip to Bangkok!

The Yard Hostel, situated in the famous Ari neighborhood, is a fantastic place to stay when in Bangkok. Affordable and sustainable, this hostel has amazing shared spaces, including a garden with outdoor tables, mats and hammocks serving coffee, smoothies and food. In the evenings, everyone was hanging out in the garden, playing board games, chatting, listening to music... Super fun! We stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom, and I have to say that the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and the bathrooms far exceeded my expectations. We had to leave early in the morning, expecting to miss breakfast, but the lovely hosts packed up homemade yogurt and fruit bowls for us to go. Such thoughtfulness and care! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Best hostel we’ve stayed in. Really memorable and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable communal spaces. It’s in a lovely area with plenty of tasty restaurants and bars including in the hostel grounds (though they are a bit pricey - however the hostel has a board with other recommended, cheaper options, which is super helpful and which were always a hit). Breakfast is light but delicious. Our room had amazing double height windows and a mezzanine with the bed area on it, and good provisions e.g. shower gel, shampoo. Easy access to the SkyTrain and other transport. Staff were really helpful and available 24/7 for our early check in and equally early check out (around 3am both times!) including being really helpful pre arrival. Couldn’t recommend more.

Nothing, other than some hooks to store clothes in the bedroom - there’s plenty of wall space and others have commented on the lack of storage so this feels like it could be an easy fix.

Excellent property within a very charming neighbourhood. Spent a night in a deluxe private room that's equipped with a comfortable bed, storage space and the most charming atmospherics...dappled sunlight, a quiet balcony overlooking green cover and morning birdsong! The shared showers and restrooms are very hygienic with adequate water pressure.I really appreciate the eco-positive messaging all around the property, without being preachy and it looked like all the residents happily adhered to it. I'd stay longer the next time in Bangkok because of its value for money, location and eclectic guest community.

Perhaps a bedside lamp and a few more clothes pegs in the room.

Close to Don Mueang Airport. Nice bar (with cocktails!) to hang out in evening to meet people. Breakfast is great.

The lady from the check out seems uninterested in her job/customers. I ask her if I could take the bus from Ari Station to Airport Don Mueang, yes no problem was her advice. At the end I waited 45min for a bus which never came and at the end I took a taxi! ADVICE to all customers..the frequencie of the busses in Bangkok are not trustable. The reception should know that and tell me. Go to Victory Monument instead (fast bus from there), or take a taxi.

Provided breakfast was great- delicious fresh fruit. Common area was lovely and social to hang out in- met some great people here. Short walk to train station and located in a cute neighbourhood with delicious eateries- best way to start my time in Bangkok. Loved eating my way round Ari. Yoga on offer on some mornings. Own powerpoint and light for the beds plus curtains.

Bathrooms were adequately clean. Mattress and pillow were extremely firm. Small locker provided only big enough for handbag/small backpack (not carryon). I would stay again however a few things to be mindful of if they are of importance to you..

Great place to meet other travelers. Not a party hostel but very social. Every night people were gathering in the yard area of the hostel. I stayed in a private room, which was a little underwhelming in terms of facilities (eg. dirty shower curtain, the window didn’t close at all, you could hear everything through the walls) Negatives: - it is a little far out of the city. It didn’t bother me since I was ok with taking a grab or the train - mosquitos are really bad here - it can be loud due to everyone socializing in the center of the courtyard

We loved the included breakfast the most. This hostel is eco friendly (drinking water on tap, packaging free breakfast etc) and we loved that, as we hadn't seen many options like this in Thailand. The service was amazing, and the outdoor area was welcoming, comfortable, and a total vibe. The location is quiet inner sity suburbia, I felt like we were staying in a very local area.

The rooms were a little small, and we couldn't unpack our bags at all. The aircon wasn't that cold, however it did still work. The location is still 10 mins walk from the station, but we did enjoy our walk immensely.

I stayed in three different types of rooms while I was there. Two different private rooms and the female dormitory. First of all the staff there is amazing and helps at every turn. The entire place is welcoming and comfortable. A fantastic environment to meet other travelers of all kinds. The Ari train station is just around the corner and extremely convenient for getting two other parts of Bangkok. Both private rooms were exactly as advertised..

The women's dorms are some of the smallest I've stayed in, In terms of space. It would be hard for more than two people to pack their bags at one time in the room itself.
