The room was modern and clean, the bed was extremely comfy and the linens /pillows / blankets were high quality. The view across the park was lovely, the building has good sound proofing, could barely hear the planes, the TV was new and worked well, the bathroom was well appointed and the shower pressure was impressive and very adjustable. Breakfast was simple but delicious.

The towels felt like they were older, well used, less fluffy. The floors in the room could be cleaner, the shower fittings (whilst working well) were missing plates and looked like they were breaking. The pool area was beautiful, but there were so many mosquitos - maybe installing a fogger? Also making the pool area a bit more private from the lobby, and playing some soft music would be great!

I really think this hotel is good for its price (we payed 30€ a night for 2 including breakfast and free water) The room is clean, big enough for 2. Only recommend to clean the shower better, it starts moulding. The location is little bit out of the inner city, but it is not loud there. The small garden is not bad, but you could start to grow some flowers or so there?

My only BIG PROBLEM with the hotel is, that they have some fish in a very unpleasant fish aquarium - for no reason and only for decoration purpose. I know this might be a cultural thing, but the fish still have no nice living area. Free these fish please and make some light decoration out of this tank or grow some nice flowers there

The staff was exceptionally helpful. They offered everything I needed - an umbrella for the rain, a blowdrier for my hair, a squeegee to help clear water from the drain, and so on. They offered to warm up my breakfast every morning, and answered all my questions about the city, such as which shops sold which brands, which foods to order from which restaurants, and so on!

My key card deactivated often, but the front desk just reset it. Otherwise, it was exceptional!

Echo Hotel Chiang Mai is a hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet residential street, yet so close to the old city. The room is a good size and very clean. In the mornings I woke up to the birds. The hotel provides coffee and water at all times, including a water dispenser if you choose to reuse your bottle and reduce waste. The breakfast is simple and nice, providing fuel before a full day of exploring. The hotel compound is beautiful with a koi pond and a small pool that's good for relaxing in (not really big enough for a big swim). It is not too far from places like the night bazaar, airport and malls with Grab/taxi between 100 and 200 Baht. All the staff I've encountered have been friendly, helpful and courteous, which I think is one of the most important things of the whole experience. All in all, we had a good stay and would recommend others!

Had a wonderful stay. Amazing location of the hotel helped us experience the local as well as the touristy side of the city, besides having access to all the night markets and the must visit places. The reason why we will cherish our stay at this hotel was the friendly and caring attitude of the staffs. Ms. Ob, Ms. Dear, Ms. Eung, Mr. Korn, and Mr. Yo from the front desk, Ms. On and Ms. Phin from the housekeeping were excellent. A special mention of Mr Yo for all his help and super friendly behavior (even taking the pains to teach us some common thai words and phrases) is well deserved. Last, but not the least, Ms. Ob (the manager) was simply outstanding in her approach and efforts to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Her customized attention (including checking out for our breakfast needs and presence) is worth appreciating. She is indeed an asset to the Hotel. Overall, our two weeks stay at the hotel made the whole experience all the more special. From the very beginning we were made to feel welcomed, and comfortable. Would love to stay here again in our next visit to Chiang Mai. – Ray & Das

Our stay was ok. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. The rooms have thin walls, so you get to hear everything from your neighbours. The bathroom wasn't too clean, and had no ventilation. We opened the bedroom window for 30mins while we were in the room. Then, the same evening found a lizard on the wall. The room was damp and it got smelly. The breakfast was ok, but you don't get many options.

The hotel staff are outstanding. They were all so welcoming and so helpful. They could not do enough for us and this felt very genuine. They spoke excellent English and so communication was never an issue. They provided advice and information, but never in a pushy way. The breakfast was reasonably varied as standard, but they also provided a freshly cooked delicious Thai vegetarian /vegan breakfast each morning. It was my wife's birthday and they bought her a cake. A lovely gesture. There was also free coffee/hot chocolate and water available at all times on the main entrance. The hotel was very peaceful and clean. The bed was soft for Thailand and we got a great night's sleep over our 6 night stay. It is well located on the edge of the old town although if you are not into walking you may need to take a taxi/ red bus. We used the bolt/in drive apps and as long as traveling within the city area this proved easy. We would highly recommend this hotel.

A few more towel hooks in the bathroom..there was only one. Patio furniture on the balcony. It was like this wasn't meant to be used...not cleaned. Also a clothes airer on here to dry wet clothes.

New hotel, located about 10-15min from the old chiang mai town. VERY helpfull and nice staff! We would like to congratulate and thanks again Eung for her assistance and kindness in every moment, she is like a shine of light!! Allso the other members of the staff were very very nice. Room VERY clean and new as the whole hotel. Breakfast is nice also with fresh products ( maybe we missed some ham or cheese hehe but still really nice and healthy option! Coffee really great) The neighbourhood is quiet and have some local restaurants nearby. As i work on the luxury hotel industry i've been very happy to validate and enjoy this accomodation with such big quality standard. Congratulations again to the team :)

Very welcoming, lovely staff. Very clean hotel and pool. Breakfast was amazing and laundry service offered. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh bottled water. Free hot drinks and drinking water available at all times.

It's a shame the rooftop bar was closed and also the attached cafe area was closed most of the time so was unsure when we were able to go here

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were so welcoming and helpful when it came to booking tours and finding activities to do in the area. Our staff even helped us book a taxi to the train station when we almost missed our train to Bangkok. The rooms are well stocked with all the toiletries and appliances you could need. Definitely reccomend staying here
