excellent location, staff and accommodation for a very reasonable price. I initially thought this would be my worst stay, so i had low expectations based on some reviews, however the rooms were excellent. I stayed in a beachfront bungalow and one slightly higher up, and both were great. Its obviously not a 5 star resort, however for the relative price compared to other properties in had rin , it is very reasonable and would highly recommend. As i stayed at the sea breeze after, for double the price and it was not worth it! Again helpful friendly staff, and the manageress is actually very nice once you build a rapport with her, contrary to other reviews. excellent cafe also, and do a very good coffee for 60 bhat

only down side was that on the balconies of both rooms I was in, you could see you neighbours. However this was not a problem for me, but it may be for others who want total privacy.

The hotel was beautiful and lived up to expectations. We stayed in the boathouse, which was very large and cosy. The hotel had a large swimming pool and its own beach. The cleaners were very friendly and helpful. We didn't need to be cleaned every day, but they did provide us with toilet paper and other toiletries. Also free coffee and tea which was in our room.

The reception was poor. The reception staff were rude. The lady's tone of voice was abrupt. Every sentence was followed by - Did you understand? Unfortunately not in a caring tone, but as if we were disturbing her and could move faster. This was the first time I saw such an attitude in Thailand. My husband and I were like criminals. At least that was how we were treated at the reception.

We loved our stay! The food we had at lunch and drinks were great, our room was BEAUTIFUL! Genuinely such a lovely room and was clean and spacious. The pool was huge and the staff were attentive.

We had to climb stairs which felt really unsafe to our room, definitely not suitable for disabled travellers or people drinking (even sober I felt scared!). It was hard to get sun loungers that were comfortable during the day if not up early enough. Water wasn’t boiling but was still hot thankfully.

everything! we got more than what we expected, was expensive because it was the full moon party but was 100% worth it! you can walk straight into the full moon party within 10 mins and it’s still quiet enough to sleep peacefully. also literally 1 minute walk from the pier when you arrive, the resort is so beautiful with a lovely pool. still cannot get over our room vs what we were expecting, we were right above the water and could see different fish and crabs from the balcony. definitely booking here again when we visit the island. our fav place so far into the trip!

We stayed for the Full Moon Party, the location was excellent and in walking distance to Haad Rin but far enough that you couldn't hear the party. Plus the pier was right outside so could easily get to Koh Samui. The bungalows were very clean and modern. The pool facilities were great.

The bungalow must've had a hole somewhere as mosquitos were everywhere. Shower drain could do with deep cleaning as everytime we showered, the bathroom would flood.

The boat room is huge and unusual! Really nice wooden fittings, plenty of space (huge lobby, room, bathroom). Has a rooftop solarium with wooden loungers.

The balcony and solarium were too hot to use, some shade and chairs would have been a great addition. The jacuzzi hit tub didn’t work (tap didn’t work only shower head, plug didn’t block the hole and the power didn’t come on!). Reception did say they would look with us when we came back later but we were too tired to sort that out. We didn’t use the pool area so can’t comment on that. Only one key for the room.

The pool is great and the grounds are lovely and well maintained. The cleaning and maintenance staff are sweet.

There's no help from the front desk re any activities or recommendations for where to get or do anything. The pool area needs some updating. Torn awnings, ripped cushions and the bar should play mellow music not full moon rave house once the parties are gone.

Terrific location right at Haad Rin pier, after a short ride from Queen Pier in Koh Samui, take about 30 mins. Accommodation is great, very clean, everything worked as it should, water topped up daily if you want it. Location is a short 3 min walk to the main town. Staff were amazing. The friend I was travelling with had a birthday, the resort took care of ordering the cake and keeping it cool until I needed it. Very accommodating. Thanks Rin Beach Resort!! Highly recommended.

Mosquitos, but what can you do 🤣

The room is basic but all I needed. It’s spacious and the bathroom was big too. But the most beautiful of this room was the view of the sea. You can watch the sun set over the water every night. The location is also ideal for the Full Moon, as everything is on walking distance, yet far away from the noise if you want to sleep.

- The location (5min walking from full moon party beach) - Really calm (Usually other hotels/hostels make warm up parties and they get messy afterall, if you stay here yuo're share that you'll be able to sleep) - The recepction AFTER the check-in

We went there on the full moon party it's quite easy to understand that the staff is tired on those days: - The guys from the bar don't pick the food you ate - The check-in experience it's not that nice
