We booked quite last minute for the full moon party but were able to get a good price for Star Dormitory. The owner was super helpful and even booked our transport to Bangkok the following day for us. He was relaxed about the checkout time. The room was clean and had a bench outside where we could sit.

The room was quite small and there was only one toilet /bathroom for a few rooms so had to wait in the morning for a little bit.

Male/female dormitories are separate. The bathrooms are very clean, which is quite rare in hostels. The location is ideal. Most of all, the manager is lovely, she is very accommodating and helpful. She helped me a lot during my trip

Excellent host, she was absolutely amazing. Allowed us to use her hair dressing shop to get ready for the full moon party, gave us free water and was helpful with every question. Definite value for money, the photos don’t do it justice as we were given towels as well. Check out was 12:30 pm so that was super nice to have a big sleep in after partying

Only downside was that there was only one shower and toilet but for people who are partying all night it doesn’t really matter.

7 minutes walk to the beach, the lady was very nice. She gave us water bottles, shampoo and even bought us a bottle of rum for the new year. Very clean hostel

Not a lot of privacy between the beds

Stayed here for full moon in a great location. Rooms are so clean and comfortable. The staff are more than happy to help you with anything. Free water and can pay to use the hair straighteners in the hair salon.

Very clean and organized hostel in a good location. Friendly, kind and helpful hostess! I am glad that I choose this place and I highly recommend it to everyone!
