An excellent location to stay on Koh Phangan. The views across the island from the hotel are incredible, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel also serves great choices of food for breakfast and lunch in the restaurant area, the swimming pool is a great place to relax and the rooms are very clean and comfortable with a good bathroom and a superb balcony to relax on. The hotel is peaceful and quiet but just a short walk down a hill into the centre of Haad Rin village for the extensive choice of restaurants and a few minutes walk to the beaches. I had a very enjoyable 5 night stay, good value for money in a beautiful location and I will happily return in the future.

A hidden gem on top of a hill, provides stunning views and a quiet haven. Front desk star Taco, always pleasant and ready to assist. The food and the smoothies in the lobby were yummy. If you go to the rooftop, you'll be greeted by the sweetest pupp on the island, her name is Chucha. Shai's rooftop oasis provides the freshest breads I've ever eaten (his sandwiches are amazing!). I personally promise that every item in the menu will be delicious! As for the room, it had an incredible view, very spacious, and the air conditioning was super chilly (brrrr!) just how I like it. I could keep going, but just know that this property is well worth booking.

Be aware that getting to the hotel by foot can be a work out, because it is located atop a hill. If you rent a scooter it will be easy. If you decide to walk, you'll burn some extra calories. As for the bed, it was hard. I prefer a fluffy, comfort-top bed. So if you like a hard bed, you're in luck. I hear it's better for your back; to me it's not my preference. However, we slept good every night. I think it's time for the owner to invest in some better/new mattresses.

The staff at the resort were exceptional—friendly, professional, and incredibly welcoming. The property is ideally situated at one of the best vantage points in Haad Rin, offering stunning views. It’s a peaceful and tranquil escape, surrounded by lush greenery, making it the perfect spot for a serene getaway.

While the rooms are beautifully designed and exude a warm, inviting atmosphere, it’s clear that the proximity to the sea has taken a toll on the interior. The effects of salt from the ocean are starting to show, and a bit more maintenance in this regard could enhance the overall experience.

the staff are incredible here. seriously, they go above and beyond for the people staying. they made our whole stay so so good and we felt so welcomed. best hotel staff we have encountered in all of thailand. Also liked our room, the beds were comfortable and the pool area was nice. room was nice and big with lots of spaces to hang things. aircon also super nice and powerful. nice views too. Rooftop bar was a highlight with some of the most delicious food we had on the island.

Our shower didnt have hot water and the lift was unavailable 9pm-7am. These things were likely due to storms on the islands and flash flooding not the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind. the hotel is also at the top of a big hill which was fine but something to be weary of. can be hard to get taxis to the hotel and you usually have to walk all the way down to the other hotels to find transport. we didn't really have an issue with this and the staff were super helpful where they could be, but again might be an issue for some.

This place is a gem for a guy like me. Situated right on the top of the hill, walking distance to the full moon party, and yet quiet enough and away from all the noise of the party (most of it), with the ancient temple vibes, with modern pool area - this place is amazing. The staff are also very kind and helpful. I rented a bike here, with no issues - got my full deposit back.

I received the bike that I rented almost empty on gas. I filled up the bike I rented with a full tank of gas (or close to it) when I returned it - and that wasn't factored into the price. Paid about as much as the rental in gas for a day. Not the end of the world.

We loved everything about it, pictures dont do it justice, it’s a minute walk to everything you need, the view is mind blowing and the service is perfect! Staff is super kind and helpful and rooms are very clean ! They even give you water bottle every day and clean the room!

The deluxe room was different than the pictures, they advertise pictures of the top floor room but if you get the bottom floor room it doesn’t have a sea view as advertised. We spoke to the receptionist she said it was the same price… they should advertised both rooms with adequate pictures !

Very kind staff that speak english quite well. The rooftop cafeteria has amazing views and has a relaxing atmosphere. The room/villa size is amazing and our views were great. Scooter rental right at the property and it’s close to everything in Haadrin.

even though you can tell that the resort used to be of high standard, it is starting to get run down. The mattress was very old, the fridge wasn’t working very well and the sink in the bathroom was leaking. The rooftop cafeteria was quite expensive.

We were so sad to leave. The property is gorgeous with tons of greenery and stone walking paths. I can see it maybe being a problem for older people or if you have some physical disabilities as there are a lot of steps of varying widths and depths, so if that's you I'd book the larger 'normal' rooms, not the bungalows. But for us, we loved our private bungalow, tucked deep into the resort, just perched on the cliff with an incredible view of the water. The room was on the smaller side but plenty of space for two people and lots of counters to lay out our things. We didn't have any issues with bugs except for a few mosquitos here and there. The room gets a lot of natural light during the day. The large balcony is the most perfect place to take in the sunset. The bathroom was simple, basic but big enough and with hot water and decent pressure. Wifi worked without any issue. The property has a bar/cafe with great drinks! We easily walked into town and to the surrounding beaches. One of our best memories was just watching the powerful storms from our room. Would not hesitate to return (sad we couldn't extend our stay- room 14 was already booked up!), highly recommend. Excellent value for the price too. We stayed in other places in Koh Phanghan and this one was definitely the best by far and considering the price.

A shower curtain or door would be appreciated so the bathroom doesn't get too wet. But it wasn't a big issue.

Perfect location for the full moon party, easy walk (even with a mate who had one bucket too many) but far enough away you can't hear the music later. Fantastic sea views and spent a couple of evenings watching the sunset and distant thunderstorms from my balcony. They had a shelf of books to borrow. Staff were nice and laundry service was good. It's a little old school but I liked the vibe.

You will want to put on mosquito repellent morning and night(welcome to Thailand )when you go up for food, but they weren't in high numbers or anything. My Aircon was good but my friend's one was a bit tired.

The views from the restaurant and rooftop make up for any small inconveniences, so don't be too bothered by the negative comments you come across. The views from the rooftop bar in real life are even better than in the photos posted here. It's perfect for relaxing, writing or creative thinking. The resort is pretty big and we should have taken time to get to know all paths and amenities to prevent some legwork. I really enjoyed the details in decoration across the resort. The room was spacey and our balcony was big. The resort offers free pick up from the Haad Rin Pier. We went during Full Moon Party and the music didn't bother us sleeping and was a very short walk away, perfect location to enjoy the party, but come back and sleep in quiet.

The resort is located on a steep hill, but as mentioned before, the views are amazing. Accessing it on feet is pretty demanding if you're not in good shape. Use taxi or rent a bike if you're eligible for it. The humidity was very high in the room and there was a bit of a smell, but again, the views make up for it. We had annoying neighbours who spent all evenings on the balcony smoking, talking very loud and playing muaic, which kinda ruined the relaxing time I was hoping to have in the evening. I was under the impression this is a non-smoking resort. During breakfast, some people were smoking at the table, which also had a negative impact on the experience for me.
