From the minute you walk in you are greeted with smiles and a feeling of finding paradise. Kata, the manager, is an exceptional manager and this is reflected in his attentive and professional staff. The room we stayed in was spacious and the bed was so comfortable that I wanted to take it back with me ( unfortunately it was much too big or else I would have happily paid). Everything was tidy in the room and was spotless. The fridge was big enough to accommodate odds and ends we bought to keep cold. The satellite TV was dependable as was the Wi-Fi throughout our stay. The seating area accommodated us for breakfast and dinner and the menu had an enticing selection of food to choose from. The breakfasts were served at your table, which we liked rather than the usual buffet most places offer. The pool was clean and the sea was so clear you could see little fish as you swam in the warm inviting water. Lounges and towels were easy to obtain as it’s not a massive corporate hotel group- in essence, it caters for people who want to relax and rejoice in having found this gem. Kata kindly arranged day trips, boat trips as well as arranging transfers and taxis. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot wait to return to Little Sunshine in the very near future.

Everything was PERFECT

The whole stay was wonderful. Visited with my parents in law who were very pleased, it was small resort within a larger set of resorts. The owner and staff were all very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. I would usually like to explore more, but my parents-in-law enjoyed the restaurant so much we ate there all 3 nights.

We loved the quiet vibe tucked half way along the bay. It has a small restaurant with linen table cloths, orchids and well presented food. Delicious! There is a small bar for drinks. Guests have priority for reservations. The large tamarisk tree marks it spot under which there are ample deck chairs for sun seekers. Comfortable Wooden reclining loungers give perfect views of the beach a few metres away at high tide. They have umbrellas for shade. The pool nestles between rooms and is ample for a cool dip. The bay has one tide a day; in January the high tide lasted until noon for swimming before it receded leaving a wide, shallow bay great for walking or children to safely play in. Staff are welcoming. This place will appeal to those seeking solace away from loud music and corporate hotels. The rooms have typical Thai roofs with vaulted ceilings. They are small but perfectly sized and the shower water was consistently hot. A drying rack outside was useful. We loved the mosquito guard which allowed ample fresh air to circulate in the bathroom alongside the main air conditioner. The rooms were cleaned daily and staff ensured the communal areas were cleaned too. Breakfast provided set menu options; all included a fruit plate and tea or coffee. We ate omelettes, yoghurt and muesli and pancake options. You can purchase extra items to the set menus.The orange juice is freshly squeezed. The rooms are part of a larger Blue Haven resort area so security is high with guards. There is a small local village a short walk away for provisions or local restaurants as well as the 3 on the bay and one inland within the resort area. We ate at all venues and would revisit all of them. We would recommend this place and stay again. We thought it was good value for money. We didn't use the spa for massage since l'd already booked up the bay but prices were competitive. Beds were firm but comfortable for us; 1 pillow was provided.

Nothing! Even better if: We found the WiFi inconsistent for those that want to stay connected and the shower strength could be stronger. Given that it's island life we accept both of these minor points. The filter coffee at breakfast was weaker and cooler than ideal; pay options include a range of coffee types but these were served too cool for our liking. Despite this we loved the personal service and whole stay. Thank you!

The complimentary breakfast in the morning was great. We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of the place and the way that going for a walk on the beach at any time was so easy, because the beach was so close. The staff was also incredible and so helpful.

The beach is not necessarily a swimming beach, but there is nothing the hotel can do about this. However, to make up for this there are multiple pools and a wonderful atmosphere in the whole place in general.

The property is right on the beach, the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. I was the only person staying that the hotel during this week, and I was so happy that I chose this hotel. It's on the quieter side of the island, and there is only 2 other restaurants close that were open. I was so happy to be staying there.

I got a scary number of sand flea bites and was sick on the way home.

Had an incredible stay at the unique location that the Little Sunshine is. It is perfectly located in the north meaning you are located in a quieter area of the island but do have the option to go east and west really easily. The setting and the views from the room and the restaurant are paradise like. The staff is so kind, attentive and will do everything to make you feel at home. Also really nice to be able to use the standup paddle boards or the kayaks, as we used those for our daily workout. Moreover, the pool is also a welcome facility as it is a bit cooler than the ocean :). Would definitely come back to this resort

You should stay here if you like: - relaxed quiet vibes with not more than 20 people on a long Long Beach - good bed, nice warm shower, romantic sea view (if you book sea view room) - great breakfast options - if you like to take motorbike trips, rent a motor at the accommodation. - free kajak and peddle! - great restaurant with good food and cocktails - love the 4pm snack + drink - private sunbeds and beach chairs - love the small pool with sea view. We went back because we enjoyed the silence so much and we did some whole day motor trips to the other side. Big mountains to climb with the motor but that’s adventure and we loved it.

You should go somewhere else if.. - if you want party because this one is far from tourist places and drink + drive is not a good idea because of the hills where you drive. - the bar closes at 9 in the evening but you can take a drink and go to the beach.

The place was terrific. We had The house with swimming pool and mountainview wich was really incredible. Our OWN Little Paradise in Little Sunshine. The people were Great , friendly and more then helpfull in any way. Breakfast was included and every morning it was happy waking up therefore. Very hard matrass

It's a lovely hotel in the most stunning location. The staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is small, which we loved, it was perfect. We only stayed for 2 nights, but we will definitely be back in the future. If you are looking for an extremely relaxing place with outstanding views and beach and amazing staff, then this is the perfect.

Location was great, perfect spot on the island for quiet and relaxation. Beebee and her team have always been making an effort and were caring for everything. Rooms are comfy, nice and super clean.

There wasn’t anything that bothered us. If “the sea is too shallow” is worth mentioning then this would be the only point. Of course you will find cheaper places on Ko Chang but if you are looking for a beautiful place to stay with higher standards, then “little sunshine resort” is the place to be.
