One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. I was here for 8 days, working remotely for half of it. This hostel caters to all. There's a mix of ages, nationalities, and solo travellers, couples, groups, and even some families. But everyone goes at their own pace. It's a great base for a chilled week on Koh Chang. I met lots of cool people and the staff are awesome. The pool is great to keep cool and the beach is 2 mins walk away. And there's a great restaurant right next door that delivers food to the hostel.

I liked everything

This is an excellent place. I stayed a week and was so sad to leave! It became home. The staff are absolutely delightful and one of them had a smile on her face the whole time. They know exactly what you need before you've even asked! The breakfasts are great and offer something other than gluten, which is a nice change. I would prefer my eggs hot, but I learned to get them once a new batch had been cooked. It's a shame you have to pay for juice for breakfast. However, note that you should ask for coffee, not use a sachet as I did the first day. It's from a proper coffee machine and it's excellent! I loved that they had a fridge freezer for the guests to use and labels so everyone can mark their own food. The facilities are exceptional. The hang out areas are amazing. The photos didn't look real, but they are just as in the photos! I loved the music that was playing. You can walk to the beach barefoot as it's so close and along a boardwalk. It seemed to me the best beach I visited on the island as many of them aren't very wide. This one is long and wide (when the tide is out). There's a lovely book library where you can swap a book or read what they have available. They have yoga mats. The beds are super comfy, and I really liked that they have a space at the end of the mattress where you can put your stuff without it being all over the floor. It is secure, you have a key card to get up to the rooms, a key for your bedroom door and a massive locker under your bed. You need to use your own padlock. The location was good and you can get a taxi from outside the door. They organise buses for you and it was cheaper from there than from a local tour operator. You can do your own laundry, but it doesn't really come out clean. The place is really well maintained. An excellent place to stay, a home from home. I truly miss it! And no, I haven't been paid for this! ;oP

Lack of juice at breakfast. Washing machines didn't work well. But really, this place is outstanding and you really should stay!

I really loved the location of this hostel and that is was super easy to meet other travellers. The staff was also super nice and the dorm bed was very comfortable. The beach right behind the hostel is very nice and you can easily rent a scooter across the road, to travel around the island. There are also some great restaurants both in driving and walking distance.

the hostel is way more worn down than what the pictures look like (which is not too uncommon). The only thing I did not like was that the pool looked very dirty. Other than that I really enjoyed it and I would come back.

There was a great vibe on the pool and lounge area with backpackers (young and old) and some families. Really enjoyed hanging out even though I was not planning on making any acquaintances. The pool was also nice and clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good for a hostel and we weren't sick of it after 6 days.

There is indeed a sewage smell (that I have gotten used to in Thailand, although the smell coming from our bathroom was almost unbearable and the door had to be closed all the time. However, that being said we still would have extended our stay if they had had any vacancies.

Very nice cozy little place. The main house (very big) is really cozy, it feel like a living room with books, cozy area for watch movie on tv at night … open view on the pool in a greenery scenery. The bungalow located outside the house, spacious and cozy with wooden touch. Very tropical, aesthetic decor & building style. Little window overlooking the street at the back. So beautiful indoor with this little window and the paint color. Breakfast is served every morning, fresh fruits, jam, peanut butter, pancakes & waffles, sausage, eggs, ham, and Thai food. Cereal, orange juice, fresh milk & proper coffee machine. The place is very well located on the island, but it’s not located in a animated area. You will need to rent a bike. A bicycle is available for free at the reception, very convenient. Staff very friendly.

We had a private room which was nice and spacious, good powerful shower and good air con. The breakfast was really nice with nice coffee. Location is decent for getting around but transport would be ideal. The local restaurants are really good. The common area was a nice place to chill and do work. The WiFi connection was good

The drink services were quite limited. When breakfast service finishes at 10am you can no longer get hot drinks unless you get your own. Also you cannot buy any drinks after 9pm so we would stock up on anything we wanted for after this. The pool was generally clean however needed doing after it rained as there was lots of insects and branches in it

Excellent hostel with great staff and owners! Arranged nice evenings for Christmas and New Year’s. Location is great, so close to the nice beach. Dorms are great with your own shelf, curtain, lamp, power outlet and space for hanging and storing things close to the bed. Dorms are quiet, nice area to hang out, friendly atmosphere. Pool is nice and clean. Best hostel I have stayed in and I have travelled continuously for 1 year! Very good breakfast buffet with excellent coffee! Stayed for three weeks so would have been nice if the breakfast would change a little bit once in a while (like boiled/scrambled eggs instead of fried).

The smell that sometimes is around the pool, it’s coming from a small river nearby.

The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, but it’s not a “party” hostel which is nice. Great common areas, with comfy seating by the pool, and a direct path to a very nice, clean beach. The breakfast exceeded expectations! Flapjacks and waffles, eggs and fruit, it was wonderful!

The under-bed luggage storage is very inconvenient, because if you have a top bunk you have to pull the luggage out onto the floor to organise it and find things. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned more regularly as many people using them. WiFi was a bit patchy, not the best if you are planning to work or have video conferencing calls.

The staff is really welcoming, always smiling and they do everything they can to help you (even booking activities or taxis). The location is perfect. One minute from the beach. Also the pool is amazing and the common area is very big. I stayed here 3 nights but I would have liked to stay longer. Unfortunately everything was fully booked so if you want to book here, do it for more days because you will definitely want to stay longer. In addition to the pool, beach and many activities, this hostel offers the best breakfast buffet in Thailand, with fluffy pancakes and waffles, home made jams and peanut butter, fresh fruit and much more. Also in the evening you can have a beer or wine and relax by the pool or take part in a karaoke or a pub quiz 😁 And don't forget to rent a SUP board to enjoy the crystal clear water during the day or the spectacular sunset.

The dorm where I slept was a bit small for 6 people and the ladder to get to the bed was the most uncomfortable and high I have ever seen (I'm a short person). The bathrooms tend to have a strong pit smell, especially at the end of the day or in the morning, even though they are cleaned daily (and they are very clean anyway). Maybe the sewer system needs a check.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hostel is a 30 second walk from the beach and the pool area is nice if the beach gets too windy. The breakfast is great and there is a nice social area although this isn’t an overly social hostel. The beds are comfortable and the dorms are really nice. Each dorm has its own bathroom as well as extra communal bathrooms in the hall so the facilities are really great.

The lights on the bed are really bright and the curtains are white cotton so having your bed light on really lights up the room. This did not bother us at all as we have eye masks and it was totally fine however one of our dorm mates was incredibly rude and kept asking us to turn our lights off at around 10:30/11pm so she could get some sleep. Not really great if you want to read your book in bed so I suggest that you bring an eye mask if you’re planning to stay here.
