The location was beautiful and nice and quiet. Good for getting out on the water and exploring the islands. We especially liked the room next to the swimming pool and a real treat was being recommended to Aoy’s little farm Bakery 350m along the path (note a bakery is an understatement! It is a wonderful place ran by a delightful husband & wife WOW)! The hotel is very nice but please ensure you have transport as you are out on a limb.

The restaurant needs some fine tuning and closes gar to early with staff expecting you to eat by seven and left by 7.30 so not ideal. The food is generally ok but the drinks menu limited. The staff could do with some training and try harder to ensure the customers have what they need whilst staying the hotel with refreshments around the pool and a bar area needed before and after dinner etc.

-Gorgeous views from our window, we had the villa (Villa 1!) (Villa 1 is the best, at the end of the decking), almost ceiling to floor windows all around the room -Comfortable, spacious room, bed and pillows are great -Free kayaks -On site restaurant, staff are so lovely, food is reasonable for the type of establishment, mostly seafood but you can request other dishes -Scooter rental on site, must book in advance though -Small store opposite with laundry service, as accommodation does not offer laundry service (closes at 7:30pm)

-Far from everything, difficult to get to when you arrive, if you arrive after 3pm you’ll have to pay 1000Baht for a taxi (taxi being a large pickup style truck). But once you arrive you can rent a scooter, 10 min to a 7-eleven on scooter, 40-60 minutes to gas station. We didn’t venture further but would probably be over an hour to the main bit. -Unresponsive on Booking.com when asking for assistance on transport to the property days before arrival, given the remote location on Koh Chang we would have appreciate some help. -Jacuzzi bath bubble function does not work, also gave off a bad smell

Staff were excellent, esp Sai (sp?) on reception. Super helpful - best on Koh Chang from all places we’ve stayed! Sai booked tours, taxis, gave restaurant advice, even helped us locate our missing laundry from another beach. Beautiful view on waking each morning - fisherman’s village & restaurant just outside our room. Spacious clean room, aircon & comfy bed. 5 mins walk to Aoy cafe (see pic) - which was excellent for brekkie

Bathroom in need of upgrade. Restaurant food was just average, we are there once but found better after that.

We absolutely loved this place! We had initially booked the Junior Suite for the 2nd half of our stay but didn’t end up moving there because we liked King room with Pool view actually more. The rooms are newly built with high quality look and finishes. We really loved the spacious and well thought through room. There were sockets in the right places, a place to put your luggage up, a beautiful bathroom and just a generally nice room. We also loved the location; far away from the touristy areas but still great restaurants and fun things to do around. The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

There were no white curtains as a means to more privacy - that would really make it perfect. That‘s also why we didn’t end up taking the Jr. Suite - we wouldn’t habe been able to enjoy the view with the blackout curtains always closed to have some privacy. Also, the restaurant is rather expensive and not that great.

We stayed in Villa 1, which was just so lovely and peaceful. The view is amazing, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom beautiful and everything is very peaceful. The hotel has giant floaties that you can moor in front of the villa and put a floating cushion on. I spent the afternoon being rocked by the waves and reading my book. Not one for families with young children as there is nothing to prevent them from falling into the water. Ideal for everyone else, so long as you are looking for peace and not parties. I would stay here again and have recommended to friends.

It’s a Specialty Accomodation - located at a remote area of Koh Chang. Family run business with rich history. Rooms are right on top of the water, sea view, with nature. Kelong restaurant with fresh ingredients. Happy friendly staff & owner. Everything there great vibe.

If I need to say one - the commuting but honestly that’s how I like it or else that place won’t be special.

Wonderful location with options to do stand up paddle for free, hire a kayak or fishing rod. The room was spacious and the entire space was recently build or furbished. Swimming pool was also great.

Breakfast was a bit simple and tea / coffee cups were small, so one had to refill often. The coffee was instant. There was no wardrobe in the room.

sadly, you could not swim in the ocean off the ocean view rooms, the water was murky and dirty.

Very beautiful stay. Calm and quiet. Staff were very nice, and food was very good.

The location is far from most major sites on the island.
