You still feel very welcome here, you can sense that it is still a genuine family business. You are lovingly helped with all your wishes. All the staff are very friendly. The food is great and of course the location is perfect. The world is changing, the big booking agencies and authorities are driving up prices and making it difficult for such family operators. We are therefore very happy that a family resort like this still exists. We wish you and your family all the best and much success and above all only relaxed guests! Literally EVERYTHING! 🏝 our home away from home in Lanta♡ We stayed at Emerald Bungalow the second time this year and we already booked our next stay at this lovely family-owned location ♡ (January/February & November 2024) ♡ family-oriented (lots of young, open-minded families enjoy their vacation here, because the beach is very kid-friendly, but also the parents and guardians can chill out, cause Lanta locals are soo heartwarmingly family-friendly and kid-oriented) ♡ we personally don't have kids (yet), but we always recommend our friends that it is a great place for couples, families, people who wanna enjoy their stay and dive into the calmness of Emerald Bungalow Lanta ♡ beautiful location right on the beach ♡ chill vibes, healthy fresh food, great massages right at the beach ♡ great food and drinks ♡ as foodies know, the whole Thai cuisine is delicious and scrumptious ♡ support family owned businesses like Emerald Bungalow and so many more by renting a motorbike, enjoying the stunning views, following one's heart and just try not indulging too much at only one of the great local spots, because we STILL didn't manage to try all the recommendations (Ron is really helpful and very well connected, if you need help planning your stay, just talk with the lovely Emerald crew ka 🫶🏻) ♡ your place if you are looking for relaxation and mindfulness ♡ amazing sunset spot ♡ the most chill and very popular Free Way 420 bar on site with great chill tunes, great cocktails, happy hours (from 5pm on - enjoy beautiful sunsets, great drinks, food, lovely people and get to know the locals as well as like-minded, open people ♡ calm, relaxing, eco-friendly and very well maintained ♡ ka to every single person at Emerald for welcoming us in your beautiful home 💕 ♡ just see for yourself, you won't be disappointed :) Honestly - literally everything was perfect for us and our stay exceeded our expectations again!!

Honestly - literally everything was perfect!! And believe me: we are not easily satisfied, because we need good infastructure, a place to relax from work and really enjoying the quiet, the peace, the nature and the Lanta locals that makes everybody feel at home on their beautiful island :) Even though we already stayed at the Emerald in January/February THIS year already, we loved it so much that we came back 10 months later and already booked our next stays for 2025 😍

The property has a good vibe and is right next to the sea! You can get great Thai massage and a tasty cocktail not leaving the property. Variety of restaurants and bars nearby. Peaceful place in good location with the greatest staff ever! Really, I haven’t seen more welcoming host! Get the bike and all excursions at the front desk and don’t worry about a thing. Highly recommend and would like to return!

It is a bit outdated, I would prefer to have breakfast somewhere else and low water levels at the beach most of the time we were there. But these are small things that really didn’t bother us.

Nice and clean. The beach is right there (good during the day, rocky during evening-night-morning). There are seashells etc on the beach so amazing for the kids. In the morning there are small crabs on thr beach for the kids to observe. Everyone is very friendly. Good and quick laundry service which we used a lot (50tbh/kg). Cleaning is every other day but in case of issues (for example it got very sandy even though we took the outside shower after the beach) they will send the cleaners over to help very quickly. Very nice and cheap massage with views to the beach (350-500tbh and they offered 30 min 100tbh for the kids and were all giggling at our kids who fell asleep there, it was very cute :) ). There is a good restaurant on site with beach views, even though it was more expensive than on the street. But the food did look fancier at the hotel restaurant and the prices were still cheap by western standards. Several restaurants on the street, several stores etc. Also the beach was full of restaurants yet quiet. Good shade by the trees on the beach. The pool was also fine. Daily water.

There were very small ants in the area (did not bite or anything but still) so even a small breadcrump that you miss and there are hundreds of them around it. The bungalows are joined so you can hear the neighbours if they are loud. No TV which wasn't an issue but there was a TV holder on the wall so that feels a bit... negligent? 😁 the shower holder could be better so that you don't have to hold the shower head.

The hotel is perfect, there is nothing to complain about. The entire staff team is very pleasant, Ron is great, Hah ❤️❤️❤️ and the bar staff are welcoming. If you want to spend some time in a quiet place to relax with your family, solo or as a couple, this is perfect (either for a whole week or for a few days). We didn't have time to stay, but we strongly recommend visiting Ko Rock and Ko Ha. Ron will take care of everything. Swimming pool and massage are major plus points. If you like a bit more noise, there are restaurants and bars within walking distance of the beach that will delight you!

What a welcoming resort. The owner introduced himself as soon as we arrived and let us know where to come if we needed anything. They offer bike rental and tour bookings - I got the impression that if it was possible, they would arrange anything for their guests. Our fan room in the two storey block (not a bungalow) was simple, comfortable and super clean. The bed was softer than the usual Thai bed with nice cotton linens. The normal cleaning regime is every two days, which is more than enough. The fan was wall mounted and suited us just fine. We were offered a floor standing fan is we needed it. There was also a kettle in the room so we could have our morning coffee on the  balcony. The WiFi was good. We had everything we needed. We were given bottled water, coffee and sugar each time they cleaned, and there was soap, shampoo and toilet paper provided. There's a restaurant with plenty of choice on the menu and a very welcoming beachfront bar. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did! We will be back

We loved our stay at Lanta Emerald Bungalow! The resort has everything you need - direct beach access, a clean and big pool, a great restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a great bar attached to watch the sunset with Happy Hour drinks. Additionally, the hotel can help book day tours, motorbikes, etc., anything you need. The rooms are spacious, with hot water, comfortable beds, and a balcony to hang out on. The staff is amiable and helpful. I highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to come back in the future.

We spent 4 nights at Lanta Emerald resort and will always remember it and want to come back! The bungalows are spacious and clean. It’s not a luxury accommodation (even the “Deluxe” where I stayed), but for the price we payed it’s a great value and overall very nice. The beds are comfortable, the bed linens and towels are good, there is a fridge and a kettle and enough electric outlets in the room. The little terrace is lovely. We didn’t use the swimming pool (we prefer to swim in the sea) but it looks clean and beautiful. The territory and the beach are very clean, there is always someone swiping and grooming during the day. The restaurant is good, with many local Thai and international options; we had most of our meals there and were happy. The location is stunning and simply unforgettable! Two steps from the beautiful beach - clean, uncrowded, relaxed, with so many good choices to eat and to have a cocktail at sunset! Swimming was also great, the water clean and warm; however you have to keep in mind that there are tides on this coast and at low tide the rocks look quite uninviting. Even at high tides rock shoes are recommended (or you you can find your convenient spots to enter the water and mark them). Lanta overall has a rural vibe, so much unlike other beach destinations, and we enjoyed it very much. Ron, the boss of the place, was fantastic - so helpful and friendly; he speaks very good English and can help you with everything you might need (airport transfer, excursions, where to go shopping, etc.) We had spent a good deal of time choosing accommodation in Lanta and this place was the perfect choice!

At least one chair or an armchair in the room would be very useful. Some bungalows look better renovated than the others (I hope that’s an ongoing process!)

Facilities: all that you need from bungalows like these. Good size family room, decent bathrooms. An OK pool. Beach: Really nice, although quite narrow. With high tide good to swim, with low tide the rocks stick out - but still great. You can walk further down the beach to find better sections depending on the moment of the day. The beach is not quite as vibrant as in other parts of the island (like Khlong Dao) - although it may be a bonus for some, too. Food: Plenty of options in area, but we Emarald kitchen was also very good. Ron: our host was a super star. super helpful. Went the extra mile to organise the trip from the airport and then even helped us when we checked out and were still in the area.

We loved staying here! The bungalows were clean and spacious, with air con and a fridge, comfy beds, and lovely big windows looking out on to the garden. The restaurant overlooks the beach, and the food was delicious with a wide range of options. The adjoining bar was a highlight - it has a really lovely, chilled atmosphere, great music, pool table, Thai cushions on decking overlooking the beach and the sunsets, with daily Happy Hour from 5-8 - sunset cocktails! On the other side of the restaurant is a beautifully shaded and breezy area for massages, heaven. And in the gardens there is a pool, perfect for lounging by when the beach is too hot. Ron and his family were brilliant hosts, so friendly and welcoming and looked after us really well. Anything you want do, ask Ron and he will help you organise it. All in all, a wonderful place to stay - 5 stars!
