Room was simple, but comfortable. Bed was on the very hard end of the spectrum, but a topper was available, which helped a lot. Water bottles provided and water filling station available at lobby. Resort bar and restaurant and massage prices were very reasonable. Lots of other eating/drinking/massaging places located along the beach! We loved the pool and spent a lot of time just hanging out in it!

Only a single key for room. Another water filling station closer to beach/restaurant/pool would have improved the usability of the provided bottles. Pool and Beach shade was at a premium. Breakfast was satisfactory. Definitely not great, but there were some great offerings (banana pancakes). *Instant coffee only* included with breakfast, but actual coffee was available for an additional cost. Definite lack of smoking/no smoking areas. Smoking tolerated/accepted in restaurant and on pool deck, as well as unit patios. Ashtrays available everywhere, and didn’t see any signs that specified either “no smoking”, or “smoking” areas.

Everything is wonderful! The staff, the pool, the view, the bar and the restaurant. The rooms are clean and have good a/c (needed in the high humidity of May!), the scooters for hire are in good condition, and the resident cats are friendly too. You can tell the staff actually enjoy their work too - always sharing smiles and laughs together.

Swimming at the beach can be a bit tricky due to the rocks, but bring some reef shoes and you’ll be fine. Or just swim in the beautiful pool.

Great staff always happy and helpful. Stunning location, chilled atmosphere. Food and drinks were great Cocktails in the beach bar were amazing always served with a smile. All areas were clean and the pool amazing.

Needed a couple more loungers on the beach that people didnt save all day.

We loved absolutely everything about this property. They had everything you could possibly need at an incredible price. It was worth every penny and more! The pool area was also clean and the view of the beach while swimming was unforgettable. The restaurant was also amazing and a huge variety.

Fabulous location, pool literally on the beach. Lots of bar and restaurants along the beach to choose from. Good gym! Like the sustainable use of metal water bottles for all hotel guests. Very clean and tidy. Staff helpful! Loved having a bar, weed shop, massage shop, pool, restaurant all in the same place! Highly recommend for a stay, price is unbeatable.

The sun loungers were uncomfortable and need to be updated. Chairs on balconies could be more comfortable. No space in the room for hanging out clothes so had to live out the suitcase.

We had a lovely week at Coco Lanta. The little bungalows are very nice, clean and equipped with everything you need. It’s one of the best spots to watch sunset every evening either from the restaurant directly at the beach or from the pool. The buffet breakfast offers everything from fruits, juices, coffee to toast, fried rice, fresh eggs in every possible variety… You can refill your own water bottle at any time at the reception (and we loved that!!). Also there is a free outside yoga / sports area and a playground for the kids (but in the sun unfortunately). Scooter rental and tour booking can easily be done at the reception.

Shadow for the playground would be a great investment :) No Grab on Koh Lanta, but the staff helps with transportation and there are Tuk Tuks everywhere.

My 2nd visit to Coco Lanta and it was just as wonderful. Location is perfect for relaxing into island life and one of the biggest decisions of the day will be sea or pool. Reception staff are friendly and will book trips/ferries/restaurants for you - do try May’s Kitchen and Yawee while on the island. The family room is clean and comfortable with a large double bed a bunk bed. The sunset from the beach bar is amazing - you can sip on a cocktail watching the sun go down while the kids explore the rock pools at low tide. I would love to visit again in the future!

The restaurant could be better - the food including the breakfast buffet is not as good as other restaurants on the island. The staff are not as friendly and you feel like you are imposing when you order something. We have young kids of our own so we definitely don’t mind children but found the staff children listening to videos and hanging around in guest areas a bit inappropriate for a resort. Restaurant could be improved with at the minimum serving decent coffee - the powered Nescafé machine is not great. Loved the initiative of offering guests water bottles but there needs to be a refilling station in the restaurant area for guests. Currently can only be refilled in the reception area

Incredibly friendly staff that were easy to communicate with. I had a late check in, and was able to discuss my options beforehand about what to do. I appreciate that the facilities prioritize reusable items and green initiatives. The location is perfect, right on the beach, with a bar, restaurant, massage facilities available. There is a laundry service partnership with the laundry business right in front. There are lots of restaurants outside nearby. The size of my room and bathroom were great for my purposes. Additional plus: I super appreciated the small water hose outside of the bungalow to wash off my sandy feet before walking in.

We enjoyed our three night stay in our little cottage near the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a water refill station available at all times. June weather is unpredictable in Thailand so it rained and stormed quite a bit however we had a nice time when the sun came out. The beach is beautiful but rocky in the water so swimming could be challenging especially in rough seas as we experienced. The pool was lovely and refreshing. We ate one night at the restaurant which was good and it’s right on the beach with lovely views. There are a few cats living on the property which we fed while we were there as they very friendly and seemed hungry.

Nothing. FYI We ate at Lucky Tree restaurant in the Main Street two nights and it was excellent. Some of the best food we ate in Thailand.

The pool is really big, I enjoyed the direct beach access and the quiet surrounding. Staff is incredibly nice.

The area is not really convincing, nothing to do outside the resort. Very little number of western food options. If you’re not willing to eat almost only Thai food, this might not be the place for you. The hotel staff is really nice, but the quality of the western food options did not convince us.
