Location - apartment K1 is literally on the beach, other bungalows are behind. Great massage right in front. Simple but big and clean room, bed is very hard, if you don't like it, be careful! Clean bathroom, hot shower

Staff was smiling but quite lethargic and not very enthusiastic. Owner I found a bit rude, and not very helpful. I had to leave a day early due to flights issues, and there was zero flexibility on refund, which I accept, but when they charged me for extra coffee at breakfast, fully knowing that I will miss next day coffee & food, I was very surprised! It's not about $ but just no kindness at all, which is not like Thailand

It’s right at the beach and away from the main road. it’s super quiet, very nice atmosphere, if you want to get away from then crowd, the best place to be

I stayed at the room with AC, which was super clean and amazing, maybe if you are staying at the Bungalows it might not be as great, so make sure to take the room (it’s also a bungalow just with concrete walls and AC). it was excellent stay!

Steps from the beach, we were so pleased with our visit to Lanta Family Resort. The staff was accommodating and friendly (and sometimes charmingly quirky). The property was well-maintained and reasonably priced for the area. Their Thai food was very good, and lots of other great options nearby. Shower was warm. We came during high season so the room was more expensive than normal but that's to be expected. We would definitely come back.

Breakfast had many options and was tasty but wasn't very filling for western sized stomachs. The beds are very firm but that's typical in Asia. We wished there was an option for a topper.

It is a great place if you are looking for a peaceful place right by the beach. The overall vibe there was very chilled and friendly, especially thanks to the great people who run this place. They know everyone who stays at their property and are always happy to help or even have a little chat. And they make sure that everyone there has a peaceful and great stay. Bonus point, although they have a few modern concrete bungalows, they also have the more traditional beach huts (with their odd furnishings and specific vibe), so if you have enjoyed them in the past, or would like to give one a try before they are all replaced by modern hotels then I highly recommend the experience. But for me the best thing about this place was the fact that I was practically staying on the beach and even though 7-11 and some restaurants were within a 2 minute walk, the place was quiet and peaceful, to the point that at night all I could hear was the sea. I was so happy in this place that I cancelled my other plans and extended my stay there. I highly recommend the place.

I stayed here earlier in the month, too, for a few days, and so l was pleased to return on my last night in Koh Lanta. The staff were all friendly and, in particular, Like on the front reception desk. He was always very helpful and kind, and nothing was too much trouble. On this return visit, he remembered me and was most welcoming. The venue was virtually on the beach. The bungalows were clean and comfortable and good value for money. Attached pictures are firstly the original bungalow l stayed in and the second, an upgraded version of the bungalows in row K.

Beautiful spot on located on the beach. Close to restaurants, other bars, 711, Mini Big C, Muay Thai training and more! Good eating in the street for cheap and the resort itself is simple but very cute. Don’t need much more! I extended my stay an extra 12 days because I was loving the relaxing vibe and location! The people at the resort are so nice and even accepted my request for the same deal so I saved money as well:):) awesome experience! Would stay again. Great value for price!

We stayed in a bungalow with fan only and then a bungalow with air con and a tv. Both were great value for money. Whether you’re on a budget or can pay more for a larger bungalow. This was one of the best places we have stayed in Thailand. The owner was so nice and helpful. Sorting out a kayaking trip and a boat ticket to our next destination. They had an amazing bar and restaurant backing onto the beach where you can watch the sunset. Great fish bbq and a good price compared to other places on the beach. Beautiful water to swim in and when tide is out you can explore loads of rocks and fish on the sea. Fantastic sunsets. Fantastic staff. Cosy cats hanging around. Big menu at restaurant with plenty of veggie options. This place was awesome.

Loved our stay - clean, friendly staff and right on the beach. Great value for the cost, simple amenities but everything you need. The location is perfect, I would recommend staying here over long beach. You are right in the middle of the island for exploring and lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. It gets hot, we booked a room which had both aircon and a fan which was great and the hotel helped us with renting bikes and laundry both at great prices.

This is a beautiful place to stay! The staff are lovely, cabins are right on the beach - it was so nice i came back two days after checking out. Cabins are simple but clean and comfortable. I had one with a fan and then one with aircon, both with a porch and hammock!! Breakfast each morning was great and served on the beach. Area itself is quiet but a short walk along the beach to some bars and other ‘busier’ areas are easy to access if you want them. Good snorkelling too 😀

Superb location, right in the beach! Our bungalow was about 20 m away. Nice plants around and plenty of shade if you don’t like a sun as much. Has a restaurant with good food. Very quiet and there is few bars near by, but you cannot hear any loud music. Very good value for money and have shops right on the main street. Stunning sunsets!

Staff was very attentive and smiley, however a bit lethargic. I guess it’s due to work everyday long hours. Prices in restaurant are bit on higher end list. Room could do with small rack for storage. It would be nice to have also bucket of water or water shower near by the bungalows to wash your feet when coming of the beach as the sand end up in the rooms.
