It is a brand new hostel with very comfortable common areas and rooms. Bed was amazing. They are always cleaning and keeping everything spotless. Good location with bars and restaurants nearby.

I was staying in a female dorm and one member of the staff wanted to invite us to a pub crawl, and after knocking two times with no answer (me and the other girls were busy and didn’t make it to the door) he opened the door and entered the room. He was super friendly and everything but it is not what I would except.

I had the BEST time of my entire Thailand trip at Lanta Hostel! The owners, a lovely husband-and-wife duo, are incredibly warm and welcoming—you truly feel at home here. They go above and beyond to help with transportation, and I even got my laundry done effortlessly. The location is perfect—right near the beach, just a 10-minute walk to my favorite spot, Beautiful Beach, and surrounded by great restaurants. Most importantly, it’s only a 5-minute walk to 7-Eleven! The rooms are cleaned daily, the beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious with great showers. One of the best things about this hostel is the social atmosphere. I met SO many amazing people, thanks to the two balconies that naturally bring guests together. I originally booked for three nights but ended up staying for a week and a half. It was the perfect balance between relaxation (as a solo traveler) and being social whenever I wanted. I could’ve stayed forever! This is by far my favorite hostel in Koh Lanta, and I’ve tried quite a few. I can’t wait to come back—so grateful for every moment spent here. Highly recommend!

I liked everything!

Lovely responsive staff who go out of their way to help you, easy check-in (we arrived early and could check in straight away), clean rooms and comfy beds. Nice upstairs outdoor area to hang out with free coffee/tea/water. Less than 5min walking distance to a public pool (down by 7/11), nice swimming beaches, beach bars and lots of good restaurants.

The toilets/showers could be cleaned a bit more frequently due to the number of guests staying. Curtains on bunks would be a nice touch for extra privacy.

This is one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had, where the value of money is unbeatable. The place is clean, simple and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with several toilets and several showers. The rooms are small but provide a convivial atmosphere where conversations with our roommates are conducive to beginning. There are small lockers to store your belongings. The hostel has a common room open to the outside, upstairs where you can relax on sofas or beanbags, enjoy free coffee (8 a.m.-12 p.m.), order breakfast, play mini-billiards or mini-table football. A large lounge where meetings are easy. The location of the hostel is ideal: with scooter rental right opposite, you are 15 minutes away from Saladan. Close to Klong Khong Beach or Beautiful Beach, there are many restaurants and cafes around. The best point of all is the staff. The hosts are lovely, polite and smiling. They bend over backwards to satisfy your needs, they spread daily kindness that puts you at ease and makes you feel at home. They love their hostels as much as they love their guests and they make you feel it. I felt so at home that I stayed there for a whole month! Go for it, you won't regret it!

Staying at Lanta Hostel was for me like to go back to home for few days. I felt so peaceful, comfortable and tranquil as l can feel only in a place that l feel home. The owners are a so beautiful thailandese couple, so kind, available and ready to help you with everything you need. The hostel is comfortable, clean, there is a big terrace with some sofas were you can chill and hang out with the other guests. Is located in a street where you can find many restaurants. Only 10 minutes walk from a very beautiful beach. I definitely recommend it and lf l will go back to Lanta l will go back to this hostel! Thank you very much! Arianna

The hangout area was Great and the hostel was modern. There was free coffee and drinking water provided. The location was probably the best Part about the hostel. An amazing beach was just a 4 minute walk and the “beautiful beach” was just about a 10 minute walk. The staff was kind and helped us when we had issues with our bus. We really enjoyed it.

There weren’t any windows in the rooms, the room was dark, as there weren’t lights in each bed. Moreover the AC has to be turned off from 10am to 5pm, which was kind of annoying. If the hostel is completely booked, there will probably not be enough toilets.

Location is ok, a bit of walk to 7/11 , the property looks amazing. Great common area on the terrace for networking or working or smoking. LOVE the showers 🤲🏻 modern facilities. room super pitch black which is great for sleep. Staff very helpful organising my next transfer .

-The room had no windows, so the air would get heavy if the AC wasn’t on (and it was on only during certain hours). I went in randomly during off hours and it was horribly hot. Same with bathroom, no windows, go figure. -The rules are pretty strict, for anything that could go wrong they charge ridiculous fines.

Very cozy and clean hostel in Koh Lanta, I stayed for one week traveling solo, 7 eleven and many restaurants are nearby. 4-5 minute walk to the beach and very quiet location. The owners are very kind souls and put their passion and love into running the hostel. Will definitely return again.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this hostel is really exceptional.😍 I initially planned to stay 3 days, but I stayed several days, feeling so welcomed. The owners, Maggie and Tam were so nice and always ready to accommodate the guests. The hostel is modern, well maintained, cleaned several times a day and is centrally located in Koh Lanta, right across from Klong Khong beach. 🏖️ I definitely recommend it!

Very friendly staff, run by a couple who were very helpful during our stay. Friendly hostel, beds and rooms were decent, key was provided for locker. We rented scooters from across the road as well and the hostel is walking distance from some nice beaches, restaurants and 7/11. We ended up extending for a extra night as well!

Air conditioning only runs between 5pm and 10am - something to note if you plan to stick around the hostel during the day.
