Chill, good location 5 min walk to the beach and to restaurants, etc. The owner and his family take good care of the place and take a lot of pride in it. The serene property has mango trees and passionfruit growing throughout. The bungalow we had (they’re semi-detached, meaning two bungalows share a wall had a mini fridge, ac unit, wardrobe with a little hotel safe (not enough for a laptop, but rather passport, etc.). Overall great value and we’d stay here again!

Bugs/flies get inside the second you open the glass sliding door - a mosquito screen would be ideal. Also our bungalow didn’t have the hammock for some reason. Also a table or a bench to put stuff down on under the wall-mounted TV would add a lot of comfort for the guest.

This place exceed my every expectation, and was even better then it appears online which is very rare. We have been travelling around Thailand for 2 months. We haven’t stayed anywhere that could be even remotely comparable for service, value and comfort as Toongyoong. This is a family run business and when you leave you will feel as though you are apart of that family. Thank you Mr.Watson for our most enjoyable stay in Thailand. We have travelled lots, we have never ever experienced such a passionate, hardworking and caring host. We loved it so much we revised our travel plans to stay a few days longer. Long beach is a super short walk (bit even 5mins) and there are some lovely restaurants and bars close by. The beds comfy, the grounds are well cared for and quiet. The hammock on the front step was perfect for a midday siesta and the water got hot for showers. Perfection. We have missed it there since we left and we hope to return again soon :)

The hotel was great, with very comfortable beds. We slept well. The garden was a highlight: spacious, lush, and filled with a variety of trees and plants that the friendly owner proudly showcased. He even shared honey from the forest when I mentioned a sore throat, which was so lovely of him. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach (just an 8-minute walk) and the main street via a convenient shortcut.

The room wasn’t completely clean, with some dirt on the floor, and the bathroom amenities were minimal. It’s better to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, or razor, as these weren’t provided. The shampoo bottles were small, and the soap was in hard form, which might not suit everyone.

This family owned property is beautiful, with flowering bushes and trees throughout, as well as many fruit trees. It’s so peaceful, the perfect place to relax. The bungalows are spacious, clean, and all the furnishings seem new. The bed is comfortable and the shower was the best shower i have had so far in Thailand! The family is so kind, they really go above and beyond for their guests. Highly recommend this stay.

I just loved it here. The owner (Watson) is so kind and helpful with booking tickets, renting a scooter, helping my husband find a way to watch the superbowl game. He showed us the room and made sure everything was working properly when we first arrived. The deck is nice to relax on and the grounds are lovely and peaceful. It is situated in a good area where you are only a 5 minute walk to Long Beach and the many restaurants there. You are also only 3 minutes from the main road where you can get a taxi or try out many different restaurants there. There is a small corner store at that spot as well. Shower was good, the room was a good size, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. It seemed that everyone that stayed there was content. All in all more than just good value for everything.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel on Ko Lanta! The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything you need yet peaceful and relaxing. The highlight of our stay was the owner, Watson, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Ko Lanta!

Wattson the guy managing it, is such a sweet and helpful man. He came with good suggestions throughout my stay and he also helped me A LOT when I unfortunately had an accident on the island. The bungalow was very nice to stay in and super clean. I never so any bugs, which I was happy about.

I got the bungalow furthest down to the right, which is very close to a bar that plays pretty loud music until 1 am almost each day. If you are very sensitive to sounds, I would just ask for one on the left side or top right side :) I went to sleep late everyday though, so for me it was a not a big problem.

I really liked location. Just a few minutes to the beach. Next to the bungalows were several really good restaurants, pharmacy, minimarket and a pancake lady Recently renovated bungalows with nice bathroom. Clean! Very well kept garden

Everything was perfect except one who played loud music 3 times a week. This bothers a lot of Hotels in the area and they have filed a complaint so soon it will be better

Super comfy bed, brand new ultra quiet A/C . Really clean and recently refurbished room, surprisingly big room as well. Good hot shower, classic, Nice outside space with a hammock. Great English speaking friendly helpful owner. (Mr Watson) Laundry done for a great price. 10 minute walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants and shops close by.

Property is back to back with the Main Street and one of the bars has occasional live music which was loud, but it wasn’t every night. Typical not a lot of storage/ wardrobe space,,, but not a big issue

Great accommodation, very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, close to the beach but most of all the host family are the loveliest people you could ever meet. The accommodation has a very relaxing feel about it. Travelled for two months round Thailand and Loongyoong was the best sleep I’d had. Close to some great restaurants, smoothie bar and coffee places. Would definitely stay in Loongyoong next time we go back to Koh Lanta. Absolutely loved everything about it.
